Best hidden gem in town! Woman-owned, dog-friendly , and the flavored coffees are AMAZING. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, and you can feel the love in every cup. If you need any adjustments just ask because Maggie is so open to making any adjustments to make sure you enjoy your cup o' joe! If you're looking for great coffee and even better vibes--this is it.

Have stopped by Maggie's a coupon times now. She is only open from 8am-1pm Friday through Sunday, so be aware of when you go. This is a great little Coffee cart inside an Urban Wine Bar Space. Had an Americano my first visit and an iced Banana Bread Latte the next. Both were delicious! I am normally a Black Americano drinker, so trying a milk and syrup drink was a bit out of my lane. I did like the Banana Bread Latte very much though. Maggie also had a small PopTart pastry that was delicious. Maggie is such a Sweetheart! I'll be sure to stop by whenever I'm nearby.

I had the second best dirty chai of my entire life here. I cannot wait to visit again when I'm next in Portland!

Maggie (the owner) makes her syrups from scratch and they are so delicious - the banana bread latte is my fav.

Great service from friendly barista. I ordered the Chocolate Jesus and my kid had the Arabic People's Latte. Both drinks were unique and superbly delicious with cardamom accents. I would have ordered another round but I didn't want to be a jittery maniac for the rest of the day. I'm not a Portland resident, but I do live in the PNW. Tōv will always be my first stop when passing through the Rose City.

I've been here quite a few times and have really enjoyed the Aribic People's latte with its strong cardamon overtones, the Chocolate Jesus and today, the Mucho Calliente, which promises a chili infusion, and cinnamon infused espresso with dark chocolate! But wait..., oh no, I forgot to ask for oat... this is probably (certainly) dairy. Argh! Sorry, I have no Viking blood and can not digest cow milk. I would rather battle the aforementioned Viking before I'd endure the results of ... dairy! So, I brought my drink up fully prepared to pay for another and everyone there, EVERYONE, in almost unison, refused to take my payment. They kindly and quickly made another and... oh... spicy indeed, but chocolatey and balanced! One of the best spicy mochas I've had anywhere ... and I am an absolute Spella snob and proud of it! Inside secret: Don't miss out on the great selection of truly authentic Egyptian foods and pastries, as well as some really nice necklaces and earrings. If you need that piece to pull your whole Nefertiti look together before going out for a Saturday of dancing and fun... this is your hidden gem!

The Experience: I visited Golden Hour with a friend after taking a break from thrifting clothes around the Hawthorne neighborhood. What stood out: Food: I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk. The presentation was gorgeous with layers of colors and textures. The drink was a bit sweeter than my usual taste but tasted high quality and refreshing. The crunchy strawberries on top were a yummy surprise. Ambiance: Golden Hour is quite small and sound carries. The workers talking to eachother were fairly loud. If I am in the area in the future, Golden Hour will be on my list to stop at!

I placed my order and the barista let me know about a vegan cold foam alternative. The drink was great and the matcha paired nicely with everything in the drink including pandan, coconut flakes, and vanilla. The interior was clean and there were plenty of places to sit. Lots of people hanging out in the shop, some working, some talking, but it seemed like a good spot to get some stuff done. There was music playing that set a welcoming mood. Overall, highly recommend if you enjoy flavored lattes.

The two-tops are fairly snug together so it can feel like you're eavesdropping or being listened to. There's counter seating along one side which had some refreshing morning sun- when a couple seats opened up there, we moved and were very comfy. There are a couple of cozy chairs in the front window and some additional counter and lounge seating in an adjoining room. The drink quality and presentation were high quality and delicious. The cost of a 12oz latte ($7) with no special milk was higher than other cafes I've been to recently around Portland including places that create their own syrups for specialty drinks of the month. That said, I don't begrudge the cost of a masterfully hand-crafted, drinkable cup of art and that is exactly what I received. I think the cost stuck in my head because the welcome did not feel particularly warm at the register. They were having an animated conversation with the barista and I couldn't help but feel like we were inconveniencing them by saying good morning and trying to order. When we picked up our orders, the barista was warm and friendly. Overall, it's a delightful spot in an equally lovely neighborhood.

There is lots of seating, but also a lot of people doing work from the café so it can get busy with folks reading, chatting, studying, on their laptops. I got their seasonal special - the Café de Olla - as well as a day-old bagel with salmon schmear cream cheese. It was great. Looks like they switch out their specials a couple times a year. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Lately they've been doing fun events like a latte art , speed dating, pop-ups from different bakers or wine makers.
