Best hidden gem in town! Woman-owned, dog-friendly , and the flavored coffees are AMAZING. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, and you can feel the love in every cup. If you need any adjustments just ask because Maggie is so open to making any adjustments to make sure you enjoy your cup o' joe! If you're looking for great coffee and even better vibes--this is it.

Have stopped by Maggie's a coupon times now. She is only open from 8am-1pm Friday through Sunday, so be aware of when you go. This is a great little Coffee cart inside an Urban Wine Bar Space. Had an Americano my first visit and an iced Banana Bread Latte the next. Both were delicious! I am normally a Black Americano drinker, so trying a milk and syrup drink was a bit out of my lane. I did like the Banana Bread Latte very much though. Maggie also had a small PopTart pastry that was delicious. Maggie is such a Sweetheart! I'll be sure to stop by whenever I'm nearby.

I had the second best dirty chai of my entire life here. I cannot wait to visit again when I'm next in Portland!

Maggie (the owner) makes her syrups from scratch and they are so delicious - the banana bread latte is my fav.

And I say that with love, because if there's one thing Portland does better than anyone, it's making room for everybody. Truly whatever your vibe, your look, or your life story, you'll fit in just fine here. Now, the setup itself? Solid. You've got a thoughtful little covered kids' area so the young ones can burn off some energy, some cool artwork painted right into the ground, and a lineup of food carts spread across the blacktop like a greatest hits album of quick eats. There's multiple covered sections, plus a stage that hints at some lively nights. It leans outdoorsy, but still gives you enough cover to dodge the rain which, let's be honest, is a survival feature in this town. And when those string lights kick on at night? You can tell this place has potential to glow. It's got that laid-back, hangout energy where you could post up with some food, maybe a drink, and just soak it all in. Not polished, not fancy just real. Location-wise, it sits on a funky three-way corner that somehow works in its favor. That said, it's a bit of a trek off the freeway. Unless you're already in the Foster area, you're probably not making a special trip but if you are nearby, it's a convenient and worthwhile stop. I rolled in after a caffeine boost from Dutch Bros Coffee (because priorities), and it fit the bill just right. Overall, I'm landing this one at a respectable three stars. It's clean, the service is friendly, and it does what it's supposed to do. It may not be the crown jewel of Portland's food cart scene, but it's got heart, a little grit, and just enough charm to keep it interesting.

I parked in my usual spot in the neighborhood and checked out the latest offerings. The only cart I recognized was the egg cart. I was tempted but also wanted to try something new. There is plenty of seating spread out and I loved that. They still serve beer and it's inside a tented area with additional seating. I felt at ease and not claustrophobic like some other pods that have opened recently. The food we had and the service delivered was stellar. I loved what I had and I cannot wait to return, cheers!

Great service from friendly barista. I ordered the Chocolate Jesus and my kid had the Arabic People's Latte. Both drinks were unique and superbly delicious with cardamom accents. I would have ordered another round but I didn't want to be a jittery maniac for the rest of the day. I'm not a Portland resident, but I do live in the PNW. His hospitality set the tone for the whole evening--warm, relaxed, and full of conversation between people from all over the world. One of the highlights was watching Joe prepare traditional Egyptian coffee over hot sand, a centuries-old method that slowly heats the coffee and brings out deep, rich flavors. But the real comfort of the night came in the form of Egyptian Sahlab. Imagine a thick, creamy winter drink made from warm milk, gently sweetened and flavored with vanilla and orange blossom water. Those of you who tried it know what I am talking about! It was very nice to get a beautiful taste of Egyptian culture right here on Hawthorne. Huge thanks to Joe for the incredible hospitality and for sharing these traditions with us. I hope they expand to include a full Egyptian, Mediterranean food menu.
