    Espresso with Biscotti

Had a crappy cup of coffee elsewhere and walked by this cute hut. Grabbed 2 espressi (yes that's the plural of espresso) and a couple of homemade biscotti. Biscotti were spectacular and the coffee was perfectly made. Extremely friendly service and very quick. The smaller the place the better the experience! Highly recommended.

On a hot day with temperatures going north of 90 degrees, we found this cute spot while walking around this busy area. It was a wonderful surprise as we loved our experience with the barista as he made two cups of iced Americano. He was very friendly and courteous. He prepared the drinks in a flash and they were very delicious. The sitting area right by the structure is an outdoor sitting area for a few people and because it was above 90 degrees, we couldn't stay long. However, I liked the fact that they are providing an area for their customers to enjoy their food and drink offerings. For a stand-alone independent coffee shop, I thought the prices were more than reasonable without sacrificing quality of coffee. My experience was limited to a couple of iced Americano drinks but we had a wonderful experience and would love to come back when we are in the area to try many more of their offerings.

The most adorable little coffee stand I've ever seen, inside and out. There's even a little shaded seating area. The menu had good flavor options, I picked pistachio, my favorite coffee flavor, and it tastes great. The man who took our order was very friendly and had a contagious smile. I hope to come back here sometime

Indigo punch was really good! It was refreshing on a hot day, with a slight taste of pea flower. The place is tiny and cute. The owner is really nice and great to chat with when it's not busy. Good spot to sip some coffee or tea and people watch. Would definitely visit again.

It's a stand and not a store just fyi. Super cute walk up and order. Their menu changes seasonally. This trip was for a London fog, Mediterranean scones and Chocolate chip cookies

I just came here for my first visit on 9/21/2023 at 11:30 am. I had some craving for pastries and I chose this business based on their reviews . I checked their operation hours before I come and as you can see in the photo, it says they are open. As soon as i got there , SURPRISED. They are closed . On their sign also it says they are supposed to be open but they were not . They were supposed to be closed only on Wednesday. What a bummer. I think lots of these reviews are fake .

This is literally the best place for pastries and treats. I couldn't recommend it more. I come here almost everyday and Shayne NEVER disappoints. The menu is always changing and it is always something fun and tasty. Locally owned business which is also a huge plus. GREAT guy.

One of the best Chai I have had in a long time . I am surprised that I never tried it before , because I have been here before as well . I really appreciate that they don't keep the extra sugary version of the box Chai , but make their own . It was flavorful and very warming on a cold morning .They have a few home baked goodies as well as a good selection of beverages. The gentleman who made my drinks was friendly and the service was pretty fast .

I wasn't expecting a little stand when we walked up, and the little seating area connected to it was lovely! the coffee was delicious and not too expensive, and the savory scone that we got was amazing. cant wait to go back!

Cute little walk up place with a tiny seating area with shade over it. The guy who worked there was super nice and helpful. Service was great! I got the oolong fire fog and it's so good. Taste nutty and just a little sweet!

Early in the morning the coffee shop was pretty busy, especially as stores were not opened yet. As it was my first time in the shop it took me awhile to process the menu- this is definitely a coffee focus place (not for tea drinkers). And the focus seems to be on more coffee forward drinks, rather than jacked up with sugar and other stuff like Starbucks. Coffee prices are inline with other coffee stores in the area. As for seating, the shop provides tables seating. Plus there is a nice coffee bar at the windows, which is perfect for people watching. Plus there is a small coffee bar that faces the barista if you want to watch drinks being made. Parking can be tough in this area as the main shopping street....parking is on the street and off the main street.

The shop is situated in an iconic part of NW 21st; it exudes sophisticated and timeless charm. Stepping inside, you see the historical bones of the building laced with modern touches of hip decor and thoughtful design. It's a bit retro and a bit edgy all while being chic, so it's very well aligned with Portland itself. Sit on a live edge bench! Enjoy a marshmallow stick. Stare at the luxurious wallpaper. But don't let these things deter you from the epic coffee experience that awaits you. Subtly smooth, adequately bold and flavors aplenty... all served with a smile. The staff is incredibly friendly. My drink was even delivered my table by the barista! The bathroom is clean and parking is available on the street. They have all the classics and then some. There were aromas of homemade chai permeating the space as I sipped my coffee. This is an experience that can't be boiled down to 'just coffee.' It's not just another errand when you're in NW either. It's the kind of place where a random stranger next to you says aloud that 'this is the best coffee in Portland' as you walk by. And they mean it. One of my favorite coffee experiences of the year so far. It's memorable on many levels, and the atmosphere aligns so well with the vibrancy of our city. You owe it to yourself, and to maintaining the true spirit of Portland, to stop in, stay and sip a while. There's no better way to identify with Sterling than through firsthand experience. See you there soon.

The space feels cozy, welcoming, and full of personality. I especially loved the little post-it wall where customers can leave behind anything they want a small detail that makes the café feel even more personal and community-driven. What I ordered: Soft Cream Matcha One of the creamiest matchas I've ever had! The soft cream was incredibly fluffy and smooth, while the matcha itself was bold enough to come through with every sip and also had a coconuty essence to it. It had just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. If you love a rich, creamy matcha, this is definitely one to try. Es-Yen A classic Thai-style iced coffee made with condensed milk. This was strong, sweet, and definitely had that much-needed wake-me-up effect! The condensed milk gave it a creamy sweetness while still allowing the bold coffee flavor to shine through. It was the perfect balance of sweet and strong exactly what I needed. Buttered & Sweetened Condensed Milk Toast I originally had my eye on the pandan toast, but it's clearly a popular choice because it was already sold out earlier in the day! So I went with the buttered and sweetened condensed milk toast instead, and I'm so glad I did. The toast was crispy on the outside, buttery, warm, and finished with that sweet condensed milk flavor. Every bite practically melted in my mouth. The pandan toast is definitely on my list for next time! My Portland experience was made even better by my stop at Kaleido Coffee. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, taking the time to give me recommendations and making sure everyone was taken care of even during a busy rush. Until next time, Portland!

I visited on a weekend, and because it was raining outside, indoor seating was pretty limited. I was excited to try the drinks, but unfortunately, there was something a little off with the flavor profiles of the ones I ordered. 1. Coconut Jasmine Lemonade: This tasted pretty good overall, but I could barely taste the jasmine since the lemonade dominated most of the drink. The drink also seemed to coagulate a bit, which left behind an unusual texture. 2. Guava Coconut Matcha: This drink was okay, but I was not entirely sure that the matcha and guava complemented each other well. The flavors did not feel as balanced as I was hoping. Overall, I would come back because the cafe has a great ambiance and location. However, I would probably steer away from the drinks I ordered and try something else next time.
