I happened across this little stand after an appointment in the area and thought I'd stop and give it a try. I was intrigued by the options on the menu and the fresh treats. I could literally tell the muffin was fresh because it was warm. And let me tell you, it was one of the best muffins I've ever had. It was light and fluffy and had fresh raspberries in it. I also got a browned butter pistachio cookie that was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I ordered the Cascadia latte, which is a mix of pine, sage & ginger. I was so curious if it was going to be good and willing to dive right in because I've never had anything like it. It was delightful. I'd go back for a muffin and a coffee next time I'm in the area. This is a very small coffee shop with window service. The barista was incredibly friendly! We left feeling like friends. He was genuine and down to earth. We asked for help deciding between lemonade and another drink, and he didn't just say that one was better; he gave a terrific explanation as to why the lemonade was best. We were sold! What a cute little coffee shop that we were fortunate enough to have less than a block from our lodging spot! I highly recommend everyone that is nearby, or not, to stop by and try out the delicious drinks and pastries there. Best coffee in the neighborhood! Friendly kind employees. Really unique syrup flavors. Locally loved

Had a crappy cup of coffee elsewhere and walked by this cute hut. Grabbed 2 espressi (yes that's the plural of espresso) and a couple of homemade biscotti. On a hot day with temperatures going north of 90 degrees, we found this cute spot while walking around this busy area. It was a wonderful surprise as we loved our experience with the barista as he made two cups of iced Americano. He was very friendly and courteous. He prepared the drinks in a flash and they were very delicious. The sitting area right by the structure is an outdoor sitting area for a few people and because it was above 90 degrees, we couldn't stay long. However, I liked the fact that they are providing an area for their customers to enjoy their food and drink offerings. For a stand-alone independent coffee shop, I thought the prices were more than reasonable without sacrificing quality of coffee. My experience was limited to a couple of iced Americano drinks but we had a wonderful experience and would love to come back when we are in the area to try many more of their offerings. read more

The vibe was cute and cozy and i immediately felt welcomed by the enthusiastic worker behind the counter who gave intense Jack Black energy ( in the best way). I just came here for my first visit on 9/21/2023 at 11:30 am. I had some craving for pastries and I chose this business based on their reviews . I checked their operation hours before I come and as you can see in the photo, it says they are open. As soon as i got there , SURPRISED. They are closed . On their sign also it says they are supposed to be open but they were not . They were supposed to be closed only on Wednesday. What a bummer. I think lots of these reviews are fake . read more

One of the best Chai I have had in a long time . I am surprised that I never tried it before , because I have been here before as well . I really appreciate that they don't keep the extra sugary version of the box Chai , but make their own . I ordered a pistachio latte and spouse ordered a lavender latte. Both iced. They were good. I was particularly disappointed in the lack of pistachio flavor in mine, but as far as lattes go it tasted like your classic iced latte - no complaints there. Service is excellent. Several ppl seem to enjoy the chai here and speak highly, so if we go back I'll have to get that. I love a good chai. read more

The coffee was not bad and the location is very cute. I love the idea of a walk-up window. The guy working was unkind. I have poor vision and asked about a pastry , which he answered and then muttered under his breath about how I need to learn to read or something like that. It was just unnecessary. If it was the owner I met when I came, he was super friendly and sweet! I got a coconut oat latte and the lemon panna cotta. Both were really great. The coffee was super strong and delicious - I keep getting weak shots in my lattes recently, so I was really pleasantly surprised with how nutty and sharp the espresso in this was. My girlfriend got some kind of tea latte special from the specials board. It was a bit more like perfumey milk but it was nice and relaxing. I make tea lattes at home sometimes and it's definitely difficult to get them flavorful unless you make a really intense concentrate, I expected it to taste the way it did so I definitely wasn't blown away by it. This little sliver of warmth is on the corner right next to Typhoon! It's a quaint wooden stand with a chalkboard announcing it's specials and a serving window that leaves you salivating and with more baked goods in your bag than you ever meant to buy. One this cold cold day, my friend & I opted for the caramel apple cider & chai latte. The chai was made from scratch. It was lightly spcied and not overly sweet as some from mixes are. The caramel apple cider was intensely apple. It was like they squished the essense of 15 lbs of apples into one cup. It was perfect. The barista was sweet and friendly despite the busy-ness. It's a coffee stand on the sidewalk, but there are a couple of seats on the side of the small structure. Perused the smaller menu (they had a sidewalk sign of the seasonal specials, too). I thought I'd just order a cappuccino, when I spotted the London Fog, an earl grey latte. As my drink was being made, noticed they had some baked goods, but decided to pass on a sweet. My London Fog? *RARE FIND* I stumbled on this tiny nob hill gem one morning during a lull in appointments. I ordered the brown sugar cinnamon latte size large (so glad I didn't get a small!) and it is AMAZING . A few pre-qual statements: I'm either a coffee snob or a coffee junkie, depending on how you see it. They use Stella Cafe fresh (locally) roasted Italian espresso beans and they don't drown the coffee in sugary syrup- only the perfect amount to allow the nutty times of wastes so to shine through. On a side note I also order a piece of pear gingerbread, clearly crafted by an above average baker in conclusion: YUM. read more

You know how sometimes you don't see what's right in front of you? That's how it's been with me and Sunny Day for the past year. I walk out of my apartment, and BAM, there's Sunny Day. Yet somehow I didn't really SEE it until Arctic Blast 08 when I was determined to travel no more than 2 blocks from my house for any necessities. Since then it's become a regular stop when I'm in need of coffee on the go. The owner is one of the friendliest, silliest guys I've ever met, always fun to chat with while he prepares my latte. And his pastries are damn good, and all made on site in that little stand. If he has cheddar onion scones when you stop by, get one. It's the cheddariest scone I've ever had. Every pastry I've ever had here has been good, but I lust after those cheddar scones. With all the hype surrounding Pumpkin Lattes I decided to give it a try. I went to Starbucks and asked for 1/2 a shot - Overpowering sweetness that lacked the fresh, warm and distinctive flavors that come with a pumpkin pie. Easily my favorite coffee spot around town. It's the quality and diversity of the drink menu that always has me going back. Even non-caffeinated drinks are amazing. They change up some items seasonally and seemingly weekly. Cherry Limeade? Amazing. Mint Cucumber Lemonade? Almost Too good.
