I ordered a dress online for a wedding this weekend, but when it arrived I noticed it had dirt stains on it. I didn't have enough time to return it for a new one or look for a different dress, so I decided to try to get it dry cleaned. After reading the positive reviews I decided to go with Magic Cleaners and I am so glad I did! I went in on Saturday and Coco (who is just as great as everyone says) found even more stains than I had noticed. It was filthy and I hadn't even worn it yet. The dress was supposed to be done on Tuesday night, but another employee called and said they hadn't gotten all the stains out and asked if they could work on it for one more day. I went in on Wednesday to pick it up and it was perfect! I even got %10 off for being a new customer, which isn't much, but it's a nice gesture. I was worried after the first call that they wouldn't be able to get all of the stains out, but they did a great job. I will definitely go back. read more

If you have your clothes ruined at this place, they will not be responsible for anything as the owner Coco said in front of the customers. Had my sweater in cream color dry clean here, it shrunk obviously when I got them back. I went back to the store the next day. They told me that dry clean don't shrink. I agree with that but the fact is it shrunk under the " dry clean" this time. They don't admit it until I bring my same sweater in black color which I always had them dry cleaned at this places. How come my cream sweater shrunk this time? The answer is it's not been dry cleaned and they won't admitted. Owner Coco said he will deal with it and get back to me in a few days but he never did. One month he didn't contact me at all. I called trying to get hold of him and was told he just step out all the time. Left him tons of message which he never call me back. After 2 months finally found him in the store which he told me they are not responsible for anything as the " terms" said. Later he said he will contact the sweater brand company and his dry clean liquid company and see what happened and deal with it properly. As before, he " disappeared" and never got back to me for another a month and half. He doesn't care about the customer because he's is too busy with his business. When the customer finally make complaints, he say he's not afraid of any Yelp reviews. HERE YOU GO! By the way, the yelp review is not to feed your ego but let other customer know the whats really going on with your business. read more

These guys are the best laundry/dry cleaning service I have ever used. I am not a high volume customer. I only drop off dress shirts (or sometimes my wife's clothes) every 2-3 weeks or so. But, still they know me by name and have my shirts out and ready for me as soon they see me drive up; and don't need to ask for my name when I drop off. They have the best customer service -- all their employees are kind and friendly. However, I must mention Mike, who scores the highest marks for service every single time. They do excellent work. And more times they find the trouble areas/spots than I ever do, and if they "miss a spot" (hardly ever) they work hard to try and make it better. One time, before my wedding celebration, I needed pants to be altered at the last minute. I was unclear in my instructions and they knew time was critical. An out of town friend had just happened to stop to pick up his suit, and they remembered who he was and were able to get a message to me through him -- because I had been too busy and missed their calls. What business goes to such lengths these days? I've used a few other services in Pasadena before my girlfriend (now wife) introduced me to Magic Cleaners a few years ago, and I can say don't bother with anyone else -- use Magic Cleaners! read more

What a disaster. Ruining two of my beautiful blouses, they did reluctanatly pay for them, but how does a blouse get caught in the cleaning tumbler. My husband continue to use them but I went elsewhere. Before I left a pair of slacks came back with the invisible zipper broken. My husband called Coco, the owner, and he said he would fix them. When my husband called to tell Coco that he would be bringing the slacks in for the repair Coco went crazy. He denied that they were responsible and started yelling at my husband while on the phone. When my husband went to pick everything up and Coco started yelling at him once again at the Magic Cleaners location. What a way to treat a loyal customer, a previously loyal customer. This review is super late but I thought I definitely needed to write an update on my pick-up experience. When I dropped off my clothes, I showed the lady a sweater and shirt set I had that had 1 hole on the sweater - this is the reason that I had been putting off getting it cleaned. I asked that they patch it up, and hesitantly ended up agreeing to the $5 charge, even though they said, it would be noticeable and they would have to stretch that area a bit. Just before I hit the alarm on my car, I decided it wasn't that serious, and that if I really wanted it fixed, I would just do it myself. I decided to think about it a bit more and headed out to finish my errands. The next day, I called back and spoke to a man on the phone, told him my ticket number and asked that they not fix the hole and just clean it instead. He said it was already at the place that they send it out to but that he would call that lady and let her know to not repair it. I thanked him and went on my way. I had at least 3 more days before my order was set to be picked up so I had time. When I finally went back to get all of my clothes I inspected them before giving my card and noticed that there was a hole in a different area of the sweater, when I called the attendants attention to it, she said that she would need to get a manager because it looked like it was from a moth and was already there. I then spoke to the manager and reminded her of when I originally brought it in to her and that I had pointed out 1 hole and that that was NOT the hole we talked about. I then asked her why someone didn't let me know that there was an additional hole before they started cleaning it. The manage then went into an explanation about how the clothes are sent out if there is a hole and since that was what I wanted, they had to get it back from the lady first. She did say that they should have called but did not. I told her if they had seen a second hole, I should have known about it because I would not have asked that it be cleaned, and that I was not paying for the cleaning of a sweater and shirt set with 2 holes! I would have just left it at home! The manager understood and did not charge me for the cleaning. In my opinion, it seems as though they were trying to get over on me by not telling me about the additional hole. I agree that it probably came from my closet, but if you see it, mention it and give me the choice! I thought it was sneaky and the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Oh well, I thought this place was better than that. I guess not :( Oh, but the other clothes were cleaned ok. Nothing to brag about though. read more

It promised to get three shirts ready in two days, but around the due day, it notified that the shirts won't be ready until the next day.
