Everyone who works here is very nice and always gives me prompt service. But the big problem is they can't even do the littlest thing correctly like launder a shirt and iron a collar. I dropped off a bunch of Dress shirts to be laundered starched and pressed. When I got them back the collars were horrible instead of having a crisp crease on the collars they roll like an upside down U instead of a crisp collar. I took the shirts back to have them iron the collars and put a crease on them. ....I just picked them up and they are even worse than before, the collars are now totally smashed. I should've known better, when I asked them to put a crisp crease in my collar they didn't really know what I was talking about, this is a dry cleaners! read more

As most places, this place breaks buttons, pretty quick. Been going there six months, few times a week. Didn't trust them with suits. Did ok. they charge top dollar, but do only passable work. They never unbutton button down shirts before pressing them. But I avoided trusting them with my suits, since it is a pain to fix buttons. So after passable work for a few months, took a suit... and received was charged for the service of breaking a button. So they're ok, I'd give them a C, which is an average grade for most cleaners. And just like every one else, they didn't say anything before returning my damaged suit. No one ever fesses up to breaking buttons! Way to mediocre a service for the price. Because they charge alot for normal. I guess it's the area surcharge.... So it'll be back to my regular dry cleaner an hour away. read more

No complaints about this place! Both pickup and drop off were quick and easy. My clothes were ready on time (actually a bit early), and they came back nicely cleaned and pressed. I don't do dry cleaning a lot, but prices generally seemed fair and they give you a discount if it's your first time. Parking is easy, hours are good, and the staff was friendly enough. Wow! I have never EVER had service like this before. The owner is a genie in a bottle with the magic he works on stains. Like WOW. He got ALL of my oil stains out of my silk blouse. Not only is the customer service second to none but the prices are amazing, and their ability to clean everything in a very timely manner is jaw dropping; albeit I didn't pick my items up for three weeks but that's on me. The shirts I gave them for Dry cleaning - smells of sweat when we got it back and wore it - it looks like they've just ironed it and given it back to us - for that - they charged is 6.5$ per piece!! IT DIDN'T LOOK WASHED (found some food stains that were still there before we gave it to dry clean) Initially when I called them up to see if the clothes are ready for pick up - they spent a good half an hour searching for the account details and the order - they probably got it mixed up on their system - But that was definitely a scare and a waste of time for both the parties. So all in all 1. TOO OVERPRICED 2. BAD SERVICE That's a pretty bad experience with these guys - WOULD NOT BE GOING BACK THERE - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. - An extremely unhappy customer :( read more

For example: our old dry cleaner in VA wasn't able to get a really bad stain out of my husband's Navy cummerbund, but Koko took on the challenge...and WON! Sweet! I've been going to this place for years. A long time ago they ruined my comforter but wrote me a check for the value so I was appreciative. Today I went to drop off a blanket that is dry clean only. My dog puked a little on it. My dogs constantly lay on the blanket so there's dog hair. The girl said they can't clean anything with dog hair because it'll transfer to other garments. Weird because I've brought it before and they cleaned it but just charged me extra because of the dog hair which would have been fine again this time around. A lot of ppl have dogs so I think it's something they should look into to provide service to those with pets. Maybe even get another machine that is for pet hair only. This story has a sad ending but I still give the good people at Magic Cleaners 5 stars. Last week I made a splurge purchase and bought myself a black, silk Rag&Bone dress. I work at a nonprofit - this was a gift to myself and the most expensive item I've ever purchased except for some boots I bought with gift cards. I was SO excited all week to wear it on Valentine's Day. I LITERALLY did not get more than 15 feet from the car on my way to a lovely dinner planned by my boyfriend in Hollywood and a seagull shit right smack dab in the middle of my chest. In glorious white. I tried to rinse it out a little with water but was sensitive not to make it worse. Valentine's Day was a on a Sat so I had to wait anxiously until Monday to find an open dry cleaner. I found Magic Cleaners on Yelp. Today, two days later they called to let me know that they were unable to remove the bird shit. They did the best they could but there's a big, faded-looking white area in the middle of the dress. I was SO sad. But they we're extremely nice. The guy took pity on me and didn't charge me. He said there was nothing else they could do. Bird shit is a like a death sentence to black silk. I'm still so very sad. And now poor. Their kindness at least brings some kind of white light to this whole occurrence. I'll definitely go back. read more

This is by far my favorite dry cleaning service in the Pasadena area. They always have my order ready when promised, and furthermore, they are also very careful. I've never had a problem with a broken button or zipper after my clothes come back. This is one of the few places that does not mark shirts with a Sharpie permanent marker. I HATE when places do that! Just because it's on the shirt tail and people don't see it, does NOT mean that I gave you permission to do that!!! But this place won't do that to your clothes. :) They seem to do a pretty good business, but people on Yelp should give this place a try! Super nice and friendly people! read more

I am brand new to Pasadena and actually found this dry cleaner on Yelp. I agree that they're a little more expensive than your typical cleaners... But you get what you pay for. Service was prompt and very friendly. I brought in my favorite silk blouse (It had a bad oil stain) and they were able to make it look new again! When I arrived they had actually forgotten about one shirt in my order. Coco (the owner) was quick to apologize and found the shirt for me right away. I had a tie that had soy sauce stains in it. I brought it to a cleaner and they weren't able to clean it out. I almost gave up on that tie until I read some yelp reviews here. I brought a shirt that has been tainted with red. I put a white shirt next to a red shirt in my suitcase and the red shirt was a bit wet...needless to say, I had pink spots all over my white shirt. I tried washing it on my own a few times and the pink would not come out. These guys made the shirt look brand new. The tie, they tried to get the stains out. They couldn't do it the first time when I came by, so they said they'll try it again, free of charge. I was amazed they were willing to put so much effort into cleaning the tie. In the end, I came back and the tie was relatively clean! If you put the tie close to your face, you may be able to see some of the stains, but I'm happy with the results! The service is very friendly and you're greeted by the door right away. I am officially bringing all my dry cleaning here. read more

I've been coming here for a while because of this place's convenient location to my office but after having several items returned to me with damage, I've decided to look elsewhere. In each situation the cleaners is quick to deny responsiblity and provides an elaborate explanation for how I must have been responsible for the damage. On the last occasion, I received a shirt back completely stained with what looked like ink. The cleaners claimed it must have come in like that even though the shirt is basically ruined now and I never would have bothered to try cleaning something in that condition. They also should never have accepted a shirt in that condition. They said they would work on the item, but 3 weeks later they have yet to reach out to me and when I go in to ask how its coming along I am told they are still working on it. There is definitely a lack of customer service here and its obvious they don't take responsibility when they mess up. I've had shirts come back with slight discoloration that looks like it was the result of ironing/pressing especially around the collar area. I've had a suit pant come back shrunk. Another suit came back with with loose threading all over. I've had ties come back ruined even when I asked before hand whether it could/should be cleaned. I'm not sure how they get such great reviews but I definitely will not be missing this place. read more
