Upon walking in, there were 3-4 nail techs (going off my assumptions here) who weren't automatically "thrilled" with the low-commission $10-polish service & apparently did not want to take it so they volun-TOLD the nail tech named "mom/mama". I know there's a language barrier so there weren't many words exchanged however she was super nice. She sang happy birthday for my niece & she did an amazing job on her nails. My niece was cheesing the whole entire time. Since she wasn't hesitant about polishing my niece like the other techs, she did an amazing job & she was so sweet & gentle with my niece, I wanted to show her my appreciation and gratitude by tipping her $20. Now they didn't have changed for a $100, I ended up using my credit card & wasn't able to tip so me and mom/mama went next door to get changed. As we were walking back, she embraced me with a warm hug & happy tears!!! Her kindness towards myself & niece will forever be embedded in my heart! This was a moment I will forever remember for the rest of my life. I hope I will be able to visit mom/mama again. She's just so sweet!

The older woman who does pedicures clearly needs to retire -- she moves painfully slow and never seems to understand what customers are asking for, yet they continue assigning her to clients. The rest of the nail techs aren't much better. They have bad attitudes, don't listen to what you want, and the quality of their work is subpar. The polish is often uneven, and instead of fixing it correctly, they just drill your nails down until they're lopsided or damaged. The last straw was yesterday. I went in for a simple soak-off, which should mean soaking the nails in a solution to safely remove the product. Instead, they insisted on using a drill again. I told the tech my pinky nail hurt and asked her not to use the drill. She ignored me and kept going. When I said it hurt, she told me to "come back when it heals." I even asked if she could just remove it manually -- she refused. That was it for me. They will never see another dollar of my money. The lack of care, poor service, and disregard for customers' comfort are unacceptable.

TL/DR: if you see they are busy, turn around and walk out the door…read more I didn't want to write this, but my experience really bothered me. I was there for an eyebrow wax and gel manicure. I walked in because it was conveniently on my way home rather than going to my regular place. It was super busy, and the manager was rushing around seemingly trying to do everything at once. The energy was uncomfortable, so I tried to leave but they called me back, saying they could do my eyebrows now. They had to kick someone's kid out of the wax room who was chilling on the waxing table. The manager would sometimes cool the wax by blowing towards my face. At least my eyebrows turned out good. The manicure was painted on fine. My big issue was that the manicurist didn't file my nails well. For starters, she didn't understand what "round" shape was. Only straight or almond shaped. I kept asking for "no corners" and asking her to file some of the sharp corners she'd make. She only used the coarse file, there was no finer file to smooth the ends. (Maybe she thought I was in a rush because of my earlier attempt to escape the chaotic energy.) I was hoping to trust the process and the polish would smooth the tips, but I left with toothy texture on the tips of my nails. Fortunately I was able to file them down myself at home without effecting the polish. And I was charged $50 for the gel manicure and eyebrow wax. Thats $10 more than my regular salon I visit.

She is not gentle, caused me to bleed on EVERY SINGLE FINGER (see attached photos), the gel is thick and lumpy, and she doesn't talk to me or offer me a drink or anything as the other reviews describe. Another weird thing is when the younger girl did my nails, it was always $40 even for dip. But somehow when this other lady does it , it's $47? Even on my natural nails?
