Used to be a good place. Now the employees are not experienced. Barely anyone understands anything. All I wanted was to have my toenails done. No spa stuff just cuticles, nail trimt one coat of reg polish. I was charged $25. Believe me nothing other then trim, cuticles and non gel polish warrants $25. I sill tipped. Previously my finger nails were ruined. Gel polish not properly removed so my nails in parts are to my skin. It will take months to have normal nails. read more

This was my first time here.I truly wish I would have consulted Yelp beforehand. I arrived and it was not at all busy and requested a pedicure service. The price was listed at $25. I was told to pick out a polish. I was subsequently asked if I wanted an upgraded pedicure, replying "no" i just want the regular/standard pedicure.This was the quickest pedicure I have ever experienced. I reluctantly agreed to an eyebrow waxing after explaining that I did not want a massage nor manicure.. I had watched several people getting an eyebrow waxing, but no cleansing of chair/headrest. Maybe I missed it. When I got to the register I was told I owed $48--??????????/whoa. WAY too much. I explained that I did not understand this charge and the person pointed to the numbers. I tried to communicate that while I understood the numbers--it did not commute. $25 for a standard manicure plus $8 for an eyebrow waxing did NOT add up to $48. I was looked at in bewilderment. An employee doing nails then told me that I had chosen "gel" nail polish and this was more costly. Had I know in advance, I could have purchased a gel polish for less than paid here for a toenail application. Although unfair and I think deceptive, I paid this outrageous amount. Today I came to the store and it was not busy I showed her an inspo picture and she told me it would cost $50 dollars plus tax. I even asked her if she can make this design copy and paste to my nails and she said yes so I took her word for it and I sat down and she was doing her thing. She messed up twice and she was going mad at me because I was telling her to do her job right. She said a comment in a sarcastic way saying I'm gonna kill you if you make me do it again. Mind you my boyfriend is sitting next to me and he's getting mad because the lady keeps doing my nails wrong. I simply wanted a French tips design. They did not look the same they're not even even. Honestly they just look like a mess in mind you this is my graduation nails. I'm really upset because she charged me for $50.18 and my bank statements said that She charge me $63.82 and when I went back she started yelling at me telling me to leave her store because I was asking her simple question about the price difference that the paper said this price but my bank sent me said a different price she told me to get out of her store and started screaming. read more

I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I only went because I was with my mom who gets acrylic nails and not many salons do them anymore. Anyhow, I wanted a new set of gel. I already had gel on. She originally told me $27 for a new gel, then proceeded to tell me it would be $30 because what I had on was dip powder (which was not true). She did not soak my nails, she used a tool to remove the polish. She rushed through the entire process. I didn't even get a chance to look through the colors before she started working on me so I picked very quickly. She rushed through the nail job and now it's only been 4 days and more than half of my nails are chipped or peeling. If I was ballsier, I'd go in and get them fixed. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Complete waste of time and cash. I'll be getting my nails redone within the next couple days elsewhere! read more

They couldn't have done a worse job if they tried... Nail technician hurt me several times by using her finger nails to push back my cuticles. I asked for a coffin shape and they charged 2$ extra for that. Then the nail tech shapes them and they look terrible. Salon was dirty with nail dust everywhere and I'm not even sure that they cleaned their equipment before using it on me. Waste of $40, do not bother going to this place, seriously. read more

Only suggestion to be made for customers coming to this establishment is PAY before start so there won't be any additional little fees u weren't aware u needed which can be said for any nail salon, but it happens.. Love my nails woman did a beautiful job it looks and feels perfect, even with the gel which I usually find dull and thick but there's looks a feels great. If your looking for high class hot towels and champagne maybe keep walking BUT if u just wanna GOOD/ FAST mani, pedi, wax etc. this is the place. Covid worries? They do have the shields and everyone is wearing masks. (Lastly only suggestion for this salon is maybe a just towel during the service and a clear price with fees included to avoid buyers remorse. Horrible customer service, horrible job on nails, they barely have any employees left and the ones they have don't do nails well.

This is by far the worse nail salon I've ever been to. My nails looked better when I didn't get them done. They are dirty and rush through the entire process. They do not sanitize their tools nor do they do a good job with painting. My nails look so bad and they even cut my cuticles because they're too busy talking shit and not paying attention. I will never go here again. I hate this place so much and I will make sure I let all my friends and family know how bad of a place this is read more

Wish I can give this place ZERO stars. Rushed through my entire pedicure and my sisters, AND reused supplies on me that weren't disinfected!!! The man that did my nails was so kind and he took his time to make all of my nails even and beautiful. His wife did my paint job and she did a great job. She messed up my thumb twice and took the time to wipe it off and start over TWO TIMES! Without me even asking. Very kind people. If you're in Meriden, this is the place to go. read more

I thought I did a review before but it isn't here. Hmmm. Not a fan. I have been to many nail salons for a pedicure and this was the worst. I asked for a basic pedicure and they tried to upsell 3 more services. They asked if I wanted a manicure which was fine, I declined then asked if I wanted a gel pedicure, they said it won't chip. I have never had a pedicure chip before. Then she asked if I wanted a medical treatment for my heels. My heels weren't even that bad. I declined both and she seemed annoyed. She barely rubbed the lotion on my legs into my skin and then rubbed the hot rocks up and down my legs twice, done! She applied the nail polish so thick and quickly that when she did the second coat, the first coat was brushing off. Two weeks later my nail polish was chipping. There's too many nail salons for this kind of treatment and pedicure. Best business of word of mouth. This can be deleted but Good luck to them. read more

I LOVE MAGIC NAILS ! the nail techs are so friendly and the salon is so clean ! I live in Waterbury but trust me this 20 minute drive is definetly worth the result ! Mani pedis are like 35 but worth every penny read more
