I have been getting UV gel fills for the better part of a year now. I don't think they do an amazing job on a simple manicure but they really do a great job on the harder stuff. I go every 3 weeks. Nemo and Cece are my favorites but I've worked with at least 3 other guys who rush a bit more but always seem to do a decent job. Sisters nail salon is my usual go to for manicures and pedicures. They recently renovated this year and everything is up to date and clean. There is always a full staff which I enjoy because I like the option of being able to walk in and be accommodated. The pedicure stations are in a separate area and all the chairs have a built in massage feature. Talk about relaxation! I usually pay the extra though and get a staff member to recieve an actual chair massage for 1$ a minute, and it's worth it! Helen is my favorite and every time I go, she takes her time and is very detail oriented. She makes sure my nails look great! I love how they have so many different colors to choose from and they also have gel and dip powder. All the supplies they use are brand new and opened in front of you. Poor service. Paid for a deluxe spa. Did not get the 45 minute massage that comes with it.

I've been coming to this salon for a few years now, and it was always because I was very happy with the service and the time they took to make me feel like I actually mattered when I came in. But today my gel manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax and lip wax all took under 45 minutes to complete and I felt so rushed like I've never felt before! Also I have to go home and finish trimming my eyebrows by myself because the girl who did them couldn't be bothered to do it in by the end of the service I was so fed up with anything I just paid what I had to pay and left. I received a terrible gel manicure and was lied to about the cause as to what went wrong at another salon. I came here and asked if they could tell me what the problem was. They immediately explained everything to me and showed me what the other salon had [or really in this case hadn't] done to my nails. They helped calm me down and fixed them right away. They even offered me a discounted rate because they could tell I was upset that the other place hadn't been willing to fix them for free. I am not one to ever knock a business with a 1 star review, however, I am so grossed out by what I saw recently at Sister Nail Salon and feel the need to share. I went in for a pedicure and manicure. They decided to seat me for my manicure first (which I found unusual since it was so quiet and they normally start with the feet) As I was getting my fingers done, I noticed that the staff was halfway through cleaning the filthy, murky, HUGE fish tank - (which consists of a giant eel and multiple large fish). Then I realized that they were dumping the dirty fish water in the Pedicure tub where your feet soak! I could not believe my eyes. This water was horrific, and the fact that they would simply put it in the same place where your feet go to be cleaned is beyond nasty. There is no way that would pass in a health inspection. Needless to say, I cancelled the scheduled pedicure. While I hadn't experienced issues with Sister Nail Salon before, I can confidently say that this experience has resulted in them losing me as a client. read more

After a few mins getting the best shoulder rub ever while my nails were being done, they ask if you want 10 mins.....meaning do you want to pay for 10 more mins of massage. Best nail place EVER! I love the service. I never had to wait and they do SUCH a good job. I always opt for one of their spa pedicures...usually the one that allows for a 30 minute leg and foot massage! Pricey but WORTH it! They do not jip you either because they have a timer and you get 15 minutes on each leg and foot. HEAVEN! The chairs massage you also and they offer you little waters while you relax. I had one manicure here also and they massaged my shoulders while I had this done and it wasn't just a short rinky dink massage...they put time and effort into it. And if you don't get a manicure they still massage while your pigs are drying!! They offer a card that they stamp each time you visit that you can use for a free service once it is filled. They began to try and explain that their "English not so good". The nail tools used for guests are not sterilized by the machine and are used by the next guest. It almost irritated my skin. Even if I make an appointment, I still have to wait a long time. I wanted to try a new nail salon spot because all of the other places I had gone too were busy and I saw great reviews online for here so I decided to give it a try. The spa pedicure they had given me was fantastic; I was in love with the girl who took care of making sure I was pampered and asking what I wanted every few minutes. I had no problems with my pedicure and was actually looking forward to putting on my full set once again. When going for my full set I had asked for a coffin shape, they charged an extra 5$ onto the price which wasn't a concern to me. My concern was when I left I was confident that my nails looked beautiful, but upon further inspection of my nails they have a "bubble" look to them, the sides of most of my nails were not evenly shaved down and my angles to my coffin nails are crooked. I am not satisfied with the service given to me and will be returning to this location to have my nails fixed. This use to be my go to nail salon. I am from Bristol and would travel the 15 minutes out of my way to come here. They had a deal for a mani/pedi for $25 which is what drew me in. I would go every two weeks to get it done. There was one girl who I would go to every week (I can't think of her name) but she was very friendly, knew me, knew what I liked and did a great job. It was quite and usually not busy. The only time I would have to wait was on Saturdays. Then they got a different owner. The prices went up and they didn't do the $25 deal anymore. They sometimes have coupons but they aren't that good and they get weird when you try to use them. Every time they would try to cut my cuticle they would cut my skin and I would bleed. They were extremely rough and it wasn't relaxing. And every time I would ask for something they would question me. I would say long nails and they wanted to cut them. Or I would say pointy nails and they would ask if I was sure. I tried to get my eyebrows done there one time and they did a horrible job. They didn't massage as long as they normally would either. I ended up not going there anymore and finding a new salon. read more

This is the only nail salon I will go to. I don't know anywhere else you can get a manicure and pedicure for only $28. The place itself is very relaxing and clean. I have gotten to know some of the staff and they are very friendly even though their English isn't very good. They really go the extra mile to make you comfortable; for example, sometimes while you wait to dry they will give you a massage. I always tend to screw up my nails because I'm clumsy and they will always fix it for me before I go. I don't know how this nail salon got a five star rating! It was probably the worst pedicure and manicure I have ever gotten. The man doing my nails seemed half asleep and didn't ever ask me what kind of pedicure I wanted. I needed the callus remover and he didn't even offer it. They were also having a weekend special that included the callus remover but I wasn't offered that either...I was going to ask for it but before I knew it he was finished. I thought he was just getting started! There was absolutely no massage involved either. Like he slapped the lotion on and punched my calves - it lasted less than one minute per leg! The nail polish job was also not good- there are all bubbles on the polish- probably because he shook the bottle. Used to be good but in the past year or so it unreliable every time I go there's always new faces. Last month had this young girl for mani/pedi/massage and she was great, the pedi lasted a few weeks. The month prior not as lucky - This past week they had mostly young men that didn't appear to have a lot of experience. I must have told him short/square 3 times he still left them longer and rounded - It was the worst pedi ever and when I got out into my car and put on my glasses which I had forgotten - you could actually see the streaks on the nails where he didn't blend the polish and he left the tip unpolished so I went back in to complain he just touched up the top making it worse and it ended up chipping the next day. I could have done my own nails better. Its unfortunate as I really liked the place and the set up - if your lucky enough to get the owner than your ok but I believe he's mostly by appointment. If your a walk in and one of the young guys come for you save your money and go elsewhere. read more
