Avoid this place. 1. I set a specific day and time and they called late the night before trying to move the appointment. He didn't offer any reason which was mildly annoying but I try to be easy going so I agreed to move the appointment. 2. They do the typical bait and switch. They have me one price on the phone ($75) and I asked twice about any surcharges or upcharges. The woman I spoke to assured me there would be no issues. Then the guys arrive and tell me I need a "deep clean" which will cost $135. I refuse and tell them to leave. Then he says he'll "call his boss" and comes back to say he can do it for $95. I still refuse then he asks how I'm paying. I say cash and he agrees to do the "deep cleaning" for $85 cash. I agree against my better judgment. 3. This was anything but a deep cleaning. My carpet still has superficial stains that should have definitely come out with a so-called "deep cleaning." Waste of time and money. read more

I called Magic Touch Carpet Care at 8am on a Sunday morning not expecting to be able to set an appt for same day but they were able to come to my place within 4 hours! This is my third time getting my carpets cleaned in the last 18 months, twice before by two different companies that did an ok job but the clean look of the carpets didn't last more than a couple days at most. It's been almost four weeks since Magic Carpet Care cleaned my 5 yr old carpet and it's looks as good as new still! They were able to handle some very old resistant stains that kept coming back after prior cleanings and took care of a couple new ones from our puppy plus they cleaned our rugs brilliantly. He ended up steaming the whole place and just using shampoo in the dining/living room. They even gave me a discount because of a mix up with the pricing. If I could give no stars I would, my roommate called and got a quote over the phone after explaining the sq footage and that there were paint stains their guy showed up 2 hours late, demanded a parking spot in our garage even though we don't have guest parking, was extremely rude, came in measured and gave us a quote $300 more then what we were originally quoted after we explained that the person working at their office told us a different price their guy started cursing telling us we wasted HIS time. My experience with Magic Touch has been inconsistent. Our first cleaning was amazing - spots gone, bright color again. So good, in fact, that I referred my daughter to them for furniture cleaning and again, they did a great job. However, the second time they came out to my home in March 2017, their performance was very disappointing. The technician used too much product in several areas, as there were large areas that were very wet and streaked with a brown liquid color. Too bad, as it was two days before a large family event. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe the experience I had with this "company." I made an appointment about 6 days in advance and told them the square footage, number of bedrooms and the type of carpet stains we had and the woman on the phone quoted me $99. I agreed and made the appointment from 10am to 11am the upcoming Sunday. I woke up at 7:30am by a phone call from the carpet cleaner guy saying they were here and that my appointment was at 8:00am. I said no, and gave him the correct time since I hadn't had anytime to vacuum and move furniture around I told them to come back at the correct scheduled time. 11:00am rolls around and I've heard nothing. I called the main office twice without an answer and then called the number that called me earlier that day. I didn't receive an answer from either. The office called me from a blocked number and didn't seem to care that we had a time discrepancy and then hung up abruptly. The guy called me from his phone saying he'd be here in 25 minutes and didn't even arrive for 45 holding up my day. He demanded to park in our parking garage which only has resident assigned spots and doesn't allow guest parking, but we let him in anyway. The technician was very rude from the get go. He walked into the apartment and starting measuring and then came back and quoted us $370. I explained that whoever made my appointment quoted me at $99 after I gave her the specs of the condo. He then started to get loud with my roommate and started throwing in our face how he's been doing this for ten years and that we know nothing. It escalated to the point as to where he was cursing and making obscene gestures and we had to tell him to get out. Overall this was the rudest and most unprofessional experience I've had with any business. I will never use nor recommend this place to anyone I know. Beware! read more

Ok so i needed my carpet and couch cleaned. My first time doing it in la and i heard alot of bad expieriences of people that had awful results. I got their number from a friends that told me they are reliable. Yechi came to my house for an estimate. He was really nice and made me understand how everything works My couch had crazy black stains and my carpet had food stains that i couldnt take off with stuff i bought from the store. He told me he will take it all off and it will look like new . I was hesitant about the result because it was really dirty... I came and cleaned the couch and carpet for 5 hours and when i came in the house i was shocked !!! The carpet and the couch looked like its new and all the stains are gone!!! I didnt think he will manage to take it all off but he did just like he said! He was very nice and gave me advise on how the keep the couch clean . Terrible. They first quoted me over $250 to take my rug to their warehouse. I refused service. Then they kept trying to lower the cost by taking off "services" and finally called their boss after I said no to all their prices. I finally agreed on a price (which was still expensive) but rug looks just as dirty after they cleaned it. This "professional company" couldn't get any of the stains out and said they never guaranteed it would look like new again. I don't expect it to look like new, but I do expect it to look cleaner than when they started. They did one pass over, missing the entire edge of the rug which was dry when I touched it. I demanded they go over it again for the amount of money I was spending. One of the guys kept stepping on the rug with his dirty shoes to hold the corner down.
