I was in a freak snow bank incident this morning...my car ended up on a large snowbank at a very steep angle ready to flip onto its side. As I'm trying to get ahold of fire/police because I don't know how to safely exit my vehicle because it may tip, one of your drivers comes right up and asks if I need help. He helped me safely get out of my vehicle, then started working his magic. We were certain there was going to be major damage in some way - it was literally on the brink of tipping, but he managed to get it down safely. He drove us to a parking lot to inspect and to both of our surprise, it looked ok. He had me test it out and shockingly, the only damage was to my fender. When I asked how to take care of cost he said, "Nothing, it's my good deed of the day." He literally saved my car from flipping onto its side and possibly being totaled. I missed his name, but am so thankful he was passing by today and stopped to help. I can't thank you enough!! read more

We did not use this service since my neighbor's insurance company sent their own truck, but the driver was kind enough to move my neighbor's disabled car out of the middle of the street to the side of the road and would not take any cash tip from me. My sister got in an accident this morning at 8:30am....after her insurance company told her the towing company they were contracted with was on her way...she sat in her car...on the side of the road...in 90 degree heat.... for 6 hours waiting for them to no avail...we called Magic Towing right away and they were there in less than 10 minutes and now have a whole family of new customers. As my sister said "they were my savior". The driver was very nice, and helpful and put her at ease as she was at her wits end waiting all day for another company that never showed. I could not have been rescued by a better towing company. Seriously, I've dealt with my share of filthy grumpy overworked guys in sketchy looking trucks. The guys from Magic Towing Service were...magic. They stayed with me for over an hour waiting for the police, then convinced me to let them drive me to the station where the other driver and I filled a report. I didn't find this specific listing on yelp when I looked originally, must have been farmed out to MagicCity from another company I called. I'm really glad this is who I got to help me out of a jam - literally! Like a dumb ass I crashed into a parked car with my rental car, a brand new bmw no less... The cars were locked together, owner of the parked car was nowhere to be found, I called the police who came and filled out an incident report, reported it to my insurance company and then went about trying to get untangled from said parked car... Couldn't find anyone willing to do it and was starting to stress. The fellow from MagicCity showed up exactly as scheduled, even called 10 minutes before to confirm he'd be there in 10 - keep in mind this was 15 minutes after I called them and the only other coherent tow company I could get on the phone said it would be 1 - 1.5 hours ----maybe... Dude was absolutely a superhero - (they should consider renaming to Superman Towing) he backed up to my car in major traffic against traffic and within 5 minutes had me disentangled and ready to go. Zero drama charged an incredibly reasonable rate - in fact it was to the penny what the fellow on the phone quoted. I highly recommend Magic City - don't even futz around with anyone else just call them - they're cheap, honest, diligent and no-nonsense. Wish I'd got the fellow's name so I could give him his props!
