I bought a Toyota Prius from this guy's back-lot behind the real dealership about 1 month ago. He…read moreseemed nice enough but like most "used car salesman" I've since been in a for a nightmare of surprises. The whole electrical system has been full of glitches that come and go intermittently. These include the functioning of the interior lights, the main display, and also the gas mileage which is around 30MPG for a Prius! This guy clearly duped me allowing a quick five minute test drive before I could make a decision. Those five minutes were not enough for the problems to manifest themselves. Well played Steve! Now I'm in for thousands more than I would have been willing to pay you, I hope anyone smart enough to read this is also smart enough to avoid one of your calculated scams.

I've known Richie Woods for over thirty six years and because of me my girlfriend purchased a 2007…read moreSubaru Forester for $15k with 82k miles on it with the agreement that we would get a tune-up, brake job and radiator flush since the radiator water was dirty and the engine timing was running rough. Richie said the engine problem could be solved with a simple tune up since he had no records of any engine work from the prior owner,"his sister" who "allegedly" was going blind and had to sell the vehicle because she couldn't drive anymore. His partner, and mechanic, Pat's Little House of Wrenches, 5656 Auburn Blvd, Sac, CA was to do the promised repairs, but put us off for two months because he was too busy during the holidays. Finally, after having the car for a week, Pat informed us that the car DID NOT need the tune-up, or the brake job that Richie had promised, but that the RADIATOR was "SUDDENLY" cracked and needed to be replaced. The only problem was that the car never leaked and/or overheated while in our possession, and Pat never provided proof of any repair or services performed. When Pat returned the car, it ran even worse than before, so we took the car to a Subaru dealer and discovered the valves were bad and needed to be repaired for $3200.It is our contention that Pat and Richie conspired to commit FRAUD and claimed that WE were responsible for the engine problem and refused to repair, or even split the cost of repair, since the valves were bad when we purchased the vehicle. NOW WE HAVE TO SUE BOTH OF THEM. Richie never answered the lawsuit and is in default, and now sells used Harley Davidson motor cycles on the CAR LOT because he had so many problems selling used cars, and Pat is still his partner in crime doing all his repair work. Richie told me at the time, that his high school son was driving the car to school for a year before selling it to us. What could go wrong with a Teen Age Kid and Turbo Engine SUV? RICHIE IS SUCH A FRAUD, THAT HE SOLD HIS SISTER'S VEHICLE TO THE GIRLFRIEND OF A PERSON THAT HE'S KNOWN SINCE 1980 AFTER TELLING HIM THAT HE WOULD PROVIDE A TUNEUP, BRAKE JOB, AND RADIATOR FLUSH!!!! HE WAS NOT AN HONEST CAR DEALER, THAT'S WHY HE SELLS USED HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE'S NOW. What a Guy. Thanks Richie Woods.

They had the nerves that tell me to give them a good rating in 5 stars. So I would not believe these stars that they getting on these ratings. I was promised a key to be made. I never received that key. They gave me the run around. They would not answer calls or texts. Please do not trust these guys. Once I finally got to call register, I had to pay an extra $230 for tags. Then, they also had the nerves to get an attitude.Because i'm upset going through all this bs that they put me through..

Fortunately the car appears to be running okay. During the purchase transaction, the closer/finance person tried to sell us an overpriced extended warranty. He was very persistent that we purchase it. I did a quick Google review of the extended warranty company while I was at the dealership. I found that they had horrible, horrible reviews. In fact, they had a F-rating on with the Better Business Bureau. His response to me when I informed him of this rating was "well you know people like to complain." Of course I turned down the overpriced, seemingly worthless, extended warranty. It is now December 28th and my son and I have still not received our California license plate for the car we purchased from Quality Auto Sales. We have called Quality Auto Sales several times to find out where the plates are. They either have never called us back or didn't seemed to be interested in dealing with our issue. We spoke with them again today. After calling them twice. We informed them that the current temporary registration/plates will expire on Monday. Their response was that our plates were sent out in November. When we called in Quality Auto Sales in November, they never informed us of this. Again today, they quickly cut off our call because they had to "answer the other line." Your importance to Quality Auto Sales seems to diminish dramatically after the purchase. As a consumer, you certainly hope that you receive good treatment post-transaction. Unfortunately, we just seem to be a bother to Quality Auto Sales at this point. Even on an important issue such as an auto registration. Now we are left having to scramble over to DMV on Monday to extend our temporary registration/plates. Gee thanks for that Quality Auto Sales!
