This is a small market that sells specialty grocery, small bulk section and fresh produce. The prices are great and the produce is fantastic. Very friendly customer service and recently remodeled. There is a small parking lot along the side of the market. If you're in the area it's between Magnolia and San Jose on Glenoaks.

Store opened around 2010. Very small, hard to shop if there are more than 3 people inside. The owner is questionable at best and does not like to be confronted if there is something wrong with his stock. I have a friend who went in and the owner sold him soda at half price, turns out the soda was all expired. He also opens up packages of butter and sells them individually. If you ask for an expiration date he gets mad. My friend also bought some Armenian bread. Went back 6 days later and got the same thing, except it was not fresh, it was like sheet metal. When my friend questioned the owner he said it was ok and wouldnt take it back. He stated it was a different kind, even though my friend had the other package at home for comparison sake and it was the same, the 2nd package was stale. Again when my friend asked to take it back, the owner refused. The next day my friend called the bakery's phone number on the back of the package and they said it was stale as well, and that the owner was trying to get rid of old stock. My friend then called the health dept as the owner, on three occasions has sold expired items to him and then turn around and say they are fresh. Very bad business! Cant be trusted. After the owner found out about the health dept, the owned had a friend call him pretending to be from the health dept and they more or less threatened him stating that he could not prove any of his allegations. The next day when my friend went back the owner told him that he could no longer use his credit card and that he would be doubling the price on anything that he tried to buy. Today my friend went back again and the co-owner was there and told him that he would triple the price on anything he tried to buy on his next purchase. Is this really how we do business in the United States? I dont think so!!! The is guy is a thief and a liar and has no respect for his American customers, do yourself a favor and stay away!

When I selected that option, it rang up as $2.49 instead. I called over the attendant to fix it, since you obviously need an employee to delete or correct an item. I explained the situation, and he looked at me like I was asking him to do something outrageous. He even looked at my friend to say, "Is she really asking me?" It was honestly uncomfortable and unnecessary. Who else would I ask.. All I needed was help correcting a pricing error. It was Sunday around 3 PM and the store wasn't even busy, so I don't understand the rude attitude. If you're assigned to self-checkout, assisting customers with issues is literally part of the job. Customer service makes a difference, even during small interactions. This one just left a bad impression.

She had screamed it out more than once and then yelled at me to use another card. I'm not particularly struggling, but to yell at someone in a rude demeanor and then try to disregard someone for needing assistance to clear out the self check out to pay for my $15 items is just completely insensitive. Please bring the older gentleman that usually runs the self check out or I won't be returning. Pretty ridiculous for someone that works at Ralph's. Do better.

She reached 104 yrs/o. Why do I mention Ina? When she wanted to grocery shop, she'd ask me to drive her to PAVILIONS in Hollywood. She told me, "Pavilions is a little more expensive but everything is the best!" So, PAVILIONS it was and PAVILIONS, it stays. Two days ago, I went to the aBurbank PAVILIONS, as I was a'hankerin' to make Turkey Giblet Gravy from scratch. As usual, it was a pleasant visit. Any questions you have, they Staff is always ready to help out. At the Deli, I was treated by a Lady with a nice smile. I ordered rare roast beef, and turkey. I requested they'd be sliced on the slicers number one thickness. I told the lady I'd be back in a few minutes. So I went to the meat department A young Attendant greeted me very happily. As a loyal customer of this establishment for over two decades, I have consistently visited the…read moredeli and meats department at least once a month. However, I am compelled to rate this establishment one star due to a particularly unpleasant experience with a female deli employee whose first name begins with the letter "J." Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

The store layout is unique here compared to other markets that I shop at frequently. Still, they had fresh, beautiful fruits and veggies at very competitive prices. In example, I got a mint cucumber bag for under $2 a pack of 8. I came for the ahi tuna steak which are tasty when prepared correctly. They carry a little bit of everything, from food items to office supplies, hygienic items, toys, etc. Not a huge store but there is plenty to browse. The check out process was different; when it was my turn, the belt where all the items scroll on, ends at the moment where you are about to pay; making it awkward and a tad bit pushy to bag your own items quickly, as they may fall due to the limited space left there for your items. Overall, a pretty cool store to add to my list.

On the afternoon of June 12, 2026, my 14-year-old son and I checked out with Olivia. We had only about a dozen items, and there was no one waiting behind us. Since my son is not accustomed to Aldi's self-bagging process, he was trying his best to bag our groceries but was moving a bit slowly. Rather than adjusting her pace, Olivia continued scanning rapidly and placing items into the cart, including some in the child-seat area. At one point, our half-gallon of milk nearly fell out. I understand that Aldi's business model emphasizes speed and efficiency, and I generally appreciate that. However, customer service should still matter. Because there was no line behind us, I was surprised that there seemed to be little patience for a young teenager who was genuinely trying to help. When I commented that things felt rushed, my concern was either misunderstood or ignored. At the end of the transaction, Olivia held my cash while waiting for space to place a frozen pizza that was still on the scanner. While her explanation made sense operationally, the overall interaction felt cold and unnecessarily rushed. Perhaps she was having a difficult day, but the experience came across as impatient and passive-aggressive rather than helpful. I want to emphasize that nearly every other cashier I have encountered at this Aldi has been friendly, patient, and accommodating. This review reflects one disappointing interaction, not my overall opinion of the store. I will continue shopping here, but I hope management reminds employees that efficiency and courtesy do not have to be mutually exclusive.
