This store closed at 1 am on the day of my visit. When I arrived, the employee at the door told me the store was closed. I told him it was 12:48 and the store is open until 1 am. He told me to hurry up because he needed to close the store. Within seconds of entering the store, an announcement was made that the store was closing and customers should proceed to checkout. As I was gathering my 7 items, I was approached twice and told to proceed to checkout because the store was closed. When I reminded them that I still had time, they told me to hurry up. Rude and obnoxious behavior. When I left, I had to wait for the door to be unlocked. No thank you or good night, just a dirty look. Someone should talk to these two idiots about how they speak to customers. One of them was the guy in charge. The receipt is attached which bears a time stamp of 12:58 am. (10/20 @ 12:58 am).

I stopped by this Ralph this morning to get some sodas. I came in the early morning so I found parking easily close to the front of the entrance. When I walked inside, it was pretty quiet and since it was early, the deli area and meat area wasn't open yet. I saw that they closed some self checkout station probably to help limit theft. I found the soda aisle easily and got the drinks I wanted. I then walked to the produce area to get some lime for my wife. They had the self checkout closer to the produce area open so I went there to pay. It didn't pick up my cell number so I can use my digital coupon so I had to manually scan the barcode from my phone.

Meat department. Fly on the chicken and fly on the steak

This store needs A LOT of help. It's horrible. Produce is always low and there's always tons of holes or rotten fruits / veggies... very poor condition. Maybe the produce workers are lazy? Not sure I went to the meat department waited for someone to come help me for 10 mins while I was there I noticed flies on the chicken and steak... changed my mind.... Always suspicious characters right outside just a very sketchy store. There is never enough people up front so the lines are always long and they happen to have self service closed... if you're going to have 1 cashier up front at least open self checkout for those in a rush. Ralphs just needs to get it together.

I've been coming to this Ralphs location before it was a Ralphs. I remember coming here when it was a Hues. When I was a kid coming here with my Grandma I do remember ppl being more friendly. I have been here every year since I was a little kid till now. I have experienced no friendly interactions with anyone here. I've noticed that every employee doesn't talk to their customers. I've never been in a line here and noticed the cashier smile or chit chat with customers. The store has a huge parking lot in the front and the back. I'm not sure why they don't do some construction and expand the store. I went through the self checkout and instead of telling me good morning, hello, how are you or any eye contact it's non existent. The woman who watches the self checkout looked on her screen to see if I bought a bag and I did infant but still why not smile and talk to the customer. I come here to have a small memory of my Grandma when I come here and shop but other than that. This location is terrible and if I were you reading this; go to another location.

Huge parking lot... small store... And pretty under stocked for the start of a weekend... I've only been here a hand full of times, but recently passed through on my way home. The layout of this store is challenging if not down right confusing... they definitely have limits on how much they can carry as it is a smaller Ralph's than others if thy do actually have more items not on the self in back they don't restock frequently. When we walked in it was surprising to see all the beer, wine & spirits on the first isle... but maybe that's what sells most here... The bakery was to the right of the entrance and the section is quite small and condensed as is the produce and cold food we had to walk to the other side of the store to find some of what we needed which isn't a big deal just a huge change from finding frozen and/or cold refrigerated items in more accessible locations or in the middle of the store. Self checkout was pretty efficient and overall we were able to find 60% of what we needed... the rest out of stock or not offered or oddly placed... We didn't have too much interaction with employees, but none really offered to assist or engaged which I felt a little strange... especially because a woman next behind us was asked if she needed help... maybe should just looked like she needed more than us... I'm sure they would've assisted us if we had asked. Would stop in again.. but don't recommend for large grocery trips.

When I was checking out at the register the cashier CYNTHIA / CLAUDIA (I was told she's the night supervisor) advised me this had to download the app. So I was doing so and Cynthia/Claudia started giving me attitude because I was asking her if she could walk me through it. She started telling me she was going to cancel my whole order and so I told her she wasn't and that she needed to help me with the app so I can apply the coupon. She proceeded to ignore me while I was asking for help talking to another employee. I had also gotten a bottle soda from the fridge that I open prior to paying and she threw it in upside down and the cap wasn't fully secured so my stuff inside my bag was wet with soda. Not to mention when I was walking away from the register, CYNTHIA/CLAUDIA was helping the next customer and started talking about "She was so difficult, I didn't want to help her" and so I turned around and told Cynthia/CLAUDIA next time you talk about a customer make sure they leave. She was still being sarcastic and briefly repeated her name back to me after I had said it.

I first found out about Handy Market on social media for their weekend BBQ about a month ago. As I had been craving bbq for a couple weeks now, I found today to be the best opportunity to give them a try. I placed an order for pick up the night before. I got kind of carried away with the order, as I wanted to try almost everything on the menu. The prices were absolutely insane! I think I ended up paying about 65 dollars for food that would easily feed me for a good 3 or 4 days. When I arrived to pick up my order at my pick up time, I had noticed my order was being packed. I asked the employees if I can leave my order with them for a bit so that I can pick up some meat inside the market. They obliged, and I went to the meat counter to order my beef back ribs to cook for tomorrow. For 5 pounds, I ended up paying about $34, which was definitely a bargain. They were also selling breakfast burritos and sandwiches in the store, which I found to be awesome. I took everything home and opened my bag of spoils. After I took everything out, I statted thinking of what I wanted to eat first and what I wanted to save for later. It was so much food that I thought I could feed an entire army. Definitely will be back for the breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and for the meats again, for sure!

However, I am compelled to rate this establishment one star due to a particularly unpleasant experience with a female deli employee whose first name begins with the letter "J." Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

The store layout is unique here compared to other markets that I shop at frequently. Still, they had fresh, beautiful fruits and veggies at very competitive prices. In example, I got a mint cucumber bag for under $2 a pack of 8. I came for the ahi tuna steak which are tasty when prepared correctly. They carry a little bit of everything, from food items to office supplies, hygienic items, toys, etc. Not a huge store but there is plenty to browse. The check out process was different; when it was my turn, the belt where all the items scroll on, ends at the moment where you are about to pay; making it awkward and a tad bit pushy to bag your own items quickly, as they may fall due to the limited space left there for your items. Overall, a pretty cool store to add to my list.

On the afternoon of June 12, 2026, my 14-year-old son and I checked out with Olivia. We had only about a dozen items, and there was no one waiting behind us. Since my son is not accustomed to Aldi's self-bagging process, he was trying his best to bag our groceries but was moving a bit slowly. Rather than adjusting her pace, Olivia continued scanning rapidly and placing items into the cart, including some in the child-seat area. At one point, our half-gallon of milk nearly fell out. I understand that Aldi's business model emphasizes speed and efficiency, and I generally appreciate that. However, customer service should still matter. Because there was no line behind us, I was surprised that there seemed to be little patience for a young teenager who was genuinely trying to help. When I commented that things felt rushed, my concern was either misunderstood or ignored. At the end of the transaction, Olivia held my cash while waiting for space to place a frozen pizza that was still on the scanner. While her explanation made sense operationally, the overall interaction felt cold and unnecessarily rushed. Perhaps she was having a difficult day, but the experience came across as impatient and passive-aggressive rather than helpful. I want to emphasize that nearly every other cashier I have encountered at this Aldi has been friendly, patient, and accommodating. This review reflects one disappointing interaction, not my overall opinion of the store. I will continue shopping here, but I hope management reminds employees that efficiency and courtesy do not have to be mutually exclusive.
