Great South Indian food! The waiter service isn't so great, as they are kind of short staffed. I wish they had a buffet though. Their food is great though. First time I've been to this restaurant and I had no idea what to expect. From the outside, it looked not to bad of a place, but inside looks pretty nice. Me and my girlfriend came in for lunch and didn't have to wait. The servers were super nice and kind. They do have a lunch special, but only had four items but it comes with other things. They have a very nice selection for vegetarians. I got the Saag Paneer and my girlfriend got a type of Masala. Both of them were absolutely delicious! You can order a la carte or another way where you get rice, and three different types of small dishes which accompany your food very nicely. And if you the one besides a la carte, it comes with dessert! I definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a solid Indian restaurant in town! Check it out! read more

My wife and I have eaten Indian food in Orange county, and Phoenix. This restaurant is hands down our favorite Indian restaurant and one of our favorite overall restaurants. I am a fan of I guess what it's called southern Indian food and usually get the masala dosa special that comes with one idli sambar. My wife's favorites are the vegetable korma, mattur paneer, and saag paneer. I started going there 33 years ago on my lunch break with an Indian friend and shortly thereafter took my wife on our first restaurant date there. Our waiter was Ravi, eventually changed the restaurant name to Ravi, and then the name was changed back later. I'm not sure what happened. In any case the food over the years has always been incredible. The sweet lassi, ice cream, and raita are the best I've ever had to this day. read more

The food was good i got the lamb saag which has spinach and my boyfriend got the lamb curry which was better. The lamb was so tender it was delicious. The guy at the front was very nice and polite . The lady that served us and took or order was a little rude but that's ok. We never got offered refills or asked how we were doing as we ate. Probably because we were to busy stuffing our faces lol the glasses for water were so clean as well as the utensils and plates. The place is very clean in general they have a gentleman who picks up one he sees you're done. Or once you get up to leave. I have never been to an Indian restaurant so i don't know what to expect as decor but the place had some nicely painted pictures. They have sugar packets on the tables as well since their iced tea is plain. If the service matched their food this place would be awesome. read more

This restaurant deserves a 0 star for service from the owners. They were extremely rude to the kids . They also over charged us when we asked them to acknowledge it the owners son used inappropriate language which even scared the kids. The quality of the food was below average and inspite of asking for dosas before the entrees all food arrived at Same time . I'm surprised how pls aces like this survive which lack service , food quality and cleanliness. read more

WE LOVE RAVI'S!! The garlic naan here is the best I have ever tasted. You can't go wrong with dhal curry, mushroom masala, garlic naan, and rice. This is comfort food at its finest. The only downside is that you are prone to falling asleep right after you eat, but we'll keep coming back for the cozy atmosphere, authentic Indian service, and garlic naan. :) read more

A good place to try typical South Indian Cuisine. We ordered a thali, totally worth the price. Dosa, Medu wada were good. Definitely try the sambhar(lentil curry), coconut chutney and garlic chutney. A little expensive, but good for occasions! read more

Delicious everything!! My husband and I are vegan and the chef/waiter/cashier was so accommodating to our needs. I ordered there and did take out. They gave me perfect proportions and all the items needed to perfect the meal. We had two different types of dosas, a mushroom masala and vegetable pakora. I don't think the food is of the highest quality here. It is good but there are many other south indian places with lesser attitude that you should try. First of all, I don't know how to communicate with the waiter as he doesn't know english, or even with some signs couldn't get the difference between hot water, cold water and lukewarm water. He brings super hot water and when I ask him to mix with cold and bring, he gives me the weirdest look ever, as if i asked for all his clothes. Andhra Special Menu - Don't get fooled by the $1.50 extra sambar, i asked for extra sambar bowl, the same waiter brought a big bowl which the manager says is $3.50, now nowhere is it specified in the menu that we should say bring small bowl !! read more

One of the only places to get decent South Indian food in the Inland Empire. We've been going here for years - and lucky for us, the food has been consistantly good. Unfortunately, the service or decor hasn't changed either. The good, the better and the best! - The Masala Dosa, Idily Sambar (make sure you get extra white chutney), Vada are must have's. - The Butter or Garlic Naan is exceptional. - Definitely try the lamb biriyani. Now for the "not-so-great" and "could-be-better" - I wouldn't recommend the Chicken masala. The sauce is very flavorful, but the chicken feels like it's been poached in water, chopped up and just added to the sauce. - Service: Often slow and sometimes downright grudging! We are regulars and have been going here for years but still feel slighted often. You'd think we'd be used to it by now. - Decor: Slightly dated. But don't forget - the food is great! read more

We have been to many other Indian restaurants and no one can quite capture our hearts like Ravi's! I really can't complain about this place! The garlic naan is amazing! The veggie samosas and paneer sag are fantastic with their cilantro chutney! The food is good here my only complaint is the high prices at dinner time and customer service. I ordered over the phone and came in to pay after paying up front with my debit card I stood around waiting for my food after 5 minutes I turned to the right and saw the woman that helped me sitting down. I smiled with a puzzled look and she pointed at a table in front of her and said your food is over there. I walked over got my food and left wondering how long they were going to have me waiting around. Just a tip if you order over the phone I guess they know they are not getting a tip so you better get it yourself!!!! read more

This is my spot to pick up dinner to go for my boyfriend and I when I do not have time to cook typically after work. I usually order Chicken Korma or Chicken Tikka Masala and the Indian eggplant or Bhurtha dish. The a la carte comes with an option of plain naan, garlic naan or white rice. There are a lot of choices on the menu ranging from beef, chicken to vegetarian dishes. The food is savory and rich in spices. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area! read more

I am overdue for a good rating for this place for I have ate here so many times. first of all the Naan bread is always great. I prefer non garlic favor. I must have ordered their royal fest dish many times and I enjoy it always. It is a sampler of all the main food items. The dish is so big that it has to be made for 2 or 4 people. The minute I stepped in their i should of left. My first time coming here and I wasn't sure if we had to stand and wait to be seated or If we had to seat ourselves. No one greeted us so I smiled and said hi and simply asked the younger woman at the register if I had to wait to be seated or do I seat myself. So she rudely answered me. After that I felt a bit uncomfortable, that lady needs to work on her people skills and the man that stood next to her at the register I think he is the hostess knew she shouldn't have acted and answered in that way so he seated us after that. The waiter that we got was really nice and helpful. ITS A SHAME BECAUSE FIRST IMPRESSION WAS HORRIBLE BUT THE FOOD WAS GOOD!!! Next time we will go to our favorite restaurant Curry&Kabab in Moreno Valley, the women there are very nice and always with a smile, the little old lady that does the cooking is nice too. Came in today and got no absolutely no service. I sat down for ten minute and didn't get a hello or even a menu. After 15 minutes passed, we got up and went next door to the Thai restaurant and got great food and great service. At least acknowledge that a customer entered your restaurant and let them know you will be with them. read more

Masala Dosa was good. The Chicken Tandoori thali was horrible. Over cooked, old rice, old chewy chicken, no subji with the thali. Only thing that was good besides the dosa was the fresh hot naan. read more

I would recommend the lunch special, it costs $7.50 and you get a lot of great food. The special lasts until 2:30pm and I usually call my order in for pickup. It usually takes 30mins. read more

I love Ravis and have been going for years. The lunch specials are always great and so are the Thali dinners. Pretty much you can't go wrong with chicken curry. As far as the customer service goes, it has never been top notch. They aren't very friendly. Don't expect a "your welcome" when you say "thank you". That's just how they are. I've noticed that the people are friendlier at dinner than at lunch. This is usually when I see the person who I assume is the owner and he is very friendly.
