Food delissssh, music on spot! CLEAN, friendly and Manny..... open one up in Cedar Thanks Sunny for sending me over. You knew this would be my favorite Indian Restaurant after recently moving to Utah!!

Good Indian

They have hid my review twice now. The owner told me they were doing this and look they did it now twice. This is the best Indian food in town by a long shot. We catered for an event and they did a marvelous job and even delivered it. So good! Everyone loved it.

Maharaja is amazing!! My family and I went for the lunch buffet after seeing a lot of great reviews on Facebook. On a Saturday afternoon there was a steady stream of customers. We were seated right away, so it wasn't over-capacity busy, but busy enough to have a fun, bustling environment. For $14.95 each we were able to get 3-4 helpings of some of the best Indian food we've ever tried! The dishes were all an appropriate temperature (which can be hard to accomplish with buffet style meals), everything was fresh, and staff were quick to replace empty trays with fresh food. The flavor of the dishes was incredible. I also had a mango lasi, which was a wonderful. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and cheerful. Empty plates were quickly cleared, and water glasses were constantly filled. I will definitely be back!

Decided to try their lunch buffet. They have several choices both chicken and Vegan. Overall the food offerings were good, wish the chicken had more spice, the vegan offerings actually had more spice flavor to enjoy. The butter chicken was totally bland. The tandoori chicken was dry because instead of leaving it in whole pieces, they cut it up which allows it to dry out. The Chicken Tikka Marsala was good, but I have had much better. The Naan bread was cooked perfectly and was excellent paired with the vegan options sauce. Again the vegan buffet options were a pleasant surprise, because they had great flavors from the added Indian spices. The Onion Bhaji, Aaloo Pakaro, Basmati rice with cumin, mixed vegetable coconut curry and Chana (chick peas) Marsala had appropriate spice and were flavorful and delicious. The rice pudding was good, but it was missing a spice, maybe cinnamon, that elevates the flavor. The service was friendly and helpful. Soda choices were limited to canned options, no fountain drinks, no refills. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The buffet was set up to allow easy access with plenty of clean plates and options available.

Finally had a chance to try Mahajara and it did not disappoint. All of the food was so flavorful and if you're like me I always stick to butter chicken and tikka masala. Being that Mahajara is buffet style, it was the perfect opportunity to try other dishes. The food is really good! The service was amazing and the owner is very kind and passionate. We were sat immediately and the restaurant is very clean. I will be returning soon!

Wow! The lunch buffet is awesome!! $15 and well worth it! I ate more than I should have. I arrived right before a group of 17, but the establishment handled all of us with professionalism. I cannot wait to return!

I love this restaurant! Honestly the best Indian food in Utah. They know what they are doing. The food is perfectly made. They care about every meal. Also if you like Naan, this is the place. Much better than the other big Indian restaurant just down the road. This is the absolute best place to get amazing Indian food!

Fresh and the selection is great. Definitely recommend the brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The naan alone is worth it!

We are from Vegas so we had to try a buffet and compare. I would say it's better than Golden Corral. It's cleaner. Service is awesome. A good variety of food that's replenished constantly when it gets low. I actually like the way the thongs are hung over each food item so that it's not touching anything and everyone can see which item each belongs to. Price cannot be beat. I'm not a huge buffet person but I enjoyed all the variety. All the salads are great. It's in the corner of a plaza so plenty of parking.

There was a table with two adults and two heathens kids. One of them was punching and trying to bite his grandmother, screaming and running around, he took off one of his shoes and was hitting the glass window. The woman and man did nothing! Next thing u know one of them was pucking all over the floor. The clean up was taken up fast by the staff. We all moved to another room. Ok now if your child is sick it's time to leave, but NO they stayed and fed him more. WTF. After finding out these people are here all the time I'll never go back. They made a mess disrespecting the whole place, they didn't even leave a tip. Low class people! I think the manager should have asked them to leave! This place should have a sign up stating : We have the right to refuse service to people like this and next time they come in respectfully tell them they are not welcome there...... hats off the the waiters and waitress.

One of the most scenic, delicious, and peaceful lunches I've ever had…read more Every day from 11:30am-1pm the cafe serves a rotating plant-based buffet that somehow costs only $5 per person. The spread includes a main dish, sides, fruit, a full salad bar, dessert, plus coffee and tea. On our visit, we enjoyed Thai peanut sweet potatoes, basmati rice, Thai peanut ramen, and some of the freshest, most vibrant salads I've had anywhere. I was genuinely impressed and this is coming from someone who isn't vegan, though I easily could be if meals like this were part of my daily life. The views stretch across beautiful Angel Canyon, and you can choose indoor or outdoor seating. It truly feels like stepping into a painting. If you're not already familiar with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT, it's worth looking up. The work they're doing to make no-kill shelters a reality nationwide is extraordinary. Come for an unforgettable lunch, and even better, support a remarkable cause.

Before our tour of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, we decided to visit Angel Village Cafe for their…read morefamous $5 vegan buffet. This cafe is located inside the Sanctuary down a long dirt road. It's a relatively small building but given how popular it is for the lunch, the place gets extremely crowded and chaotic. When we walked in, basically the entire place was full and there were volunteers and employees giving powerpoint presentations about the animals being cared for at the Sanctuary. It honestly felt kind of like a timeshare presentation, but without the pushiness. Luckily there were still seats available outside on the patio, which has some gorgeous views down into Kanab Canyon. In terms of food, everything is vegan. The first table includes a salad bar with plenty of various toppings and six vegan dressing choices. It's all super fresh and healthy. The second table has the main entrees, which on the day we visited was green beans and jambalaya. The green beans are simply boiled until slightly mushy. The jambalaya is mostly soft and tender, approaching mushy, and has kidney beans, onion, tomato, and sausage-substitute (perhaps seitan?) mixed in. The faux-sausage is actually pretty good, being spiced like sausage and having a surprisingly similar texture. The third table has desserts - slices of vegan chocolate cake which taste and feel the same as boxed cake mix, moist and not too sweet. The last table has premixed salads. There's a potato salad that includes plenty of tender potatoes in a creamy mustard/mayo sauce. There's orzo salad that uses a really strong and pungent vegan cheese in place of feta. Finally, there's a spinach and fruit salad, fresh and tangy. All the food is restocked regularly, so while we were there nothing ever completely ran out. Angel Village Cafe serves fresh and healthy food for only $5. It's a no-brainer to visit for lunch while visiting the Animal Sanctuary.
