This was almost 2 months later had I not checked my account they would have had the payment and I would have lost out on a large amount of money. I even referred this company to a few of my friends and they decided to go another way.... Good thing! I will NEVER REFER anyone to A2B moving company or use them again and if you're moving really research the company before you use. The reason I am making this review is because when I talked to the owner she wasn't sympathetic she said to me it was a very minor mistake. I don't call taking $1350.50 for the same amount that I paid in April and then in June the same amount a minor mistake. I can't bring myself to give them a rating.

Jesse, the GM, got back to me personally and was very apologetic. He offered to send the movers back to rectify it, but I had already taken care of it. I am appreciative of that effort. However, a few days after my move when i was setting up my home office, I found out that both of my computer monitors are damaged beyond repair post-move. One won't even power on! I reached out to Vanessa who directed me to Jesse. I sent a detailed message and asked if I could be reimbursed. He has his read-receipts on his texts, has read them, and has not even acknowledged me. This move was officially a bad experience and I would not recommend this company.

It took them 4 people 5 hours work and we end up with a full load of truck. They work quite productively, followed my labels, and put boxes at my desired locations in the new house which saves me a lot of effort when unpacking. They have been careful when moving furnitures. I asked them to help swap refrigerators as well but we found out one of the refrigerator didn't fit the room at the last minute which caused some problems. We should measure the size before swapping. Overall, I'm happy with their service and will recommend them to other customers.

Also, make sure they do not charge you for "yard to yard" mileage as they did to me. There is a "double drive time" law which states they can only charge from current place to new location, times two. I was charged for their drive, from Morgan Hill to Union City, and back to Morgan Hill. I was charged over $2500 and 9.5 hours, approx an hour plus, of driving they were not supposed to charge for. The "not to exceed" agreement was presented to me at the end of the move which they filled in as not to exceed $3200. I was charged for gas. I was charged $60 for shrink wrap. 2 of the 4 guys used my bathroom at the old place and the new place, #2 both times. Sorta uncomfortable!! On one hand you gotta go you gotta go, but really? at the NEW house? I moved 2 months later, and paid under $900 before tip, received all paperwork BEFOREHAND, DO YOUR HOMEWORK with these guys if you decide to proceed with them. They ripped me off hundreds of $$.
