Please read! I would seriously consider not going here, for pedicures at least, especially if you're a guy or have in grown toe nails. I told my lady specifically, I have sensitive big toes and a history of in growns, please be careful. She mutilated both my big toes and both were bleeding. Left and had to try and treat them myself. Ended up getting on an antibiotic, meaning they either did terrible damage or their place and tools aren't clean....Now I have to see and pay for a podiatrist weeks later. The quality of their pedicures leaves much to be desired! They never clean under my toenails & my edges are often rough or sharp, and they don't remove dead skin on my heels. They're very rushed, always bickering with each other, and it's very uncomfortable to know they're upset & using sharp instruments while doing their job. They're all stressed out rushing through & seemingly very unhappy. They raised prices, but lowered their services & the overall quality of their work is terrible. The technicians sit on little, uncomfortable wooden stools, and you have to sit w/your feet perched on them as well. They don't have spa chairs, and the office chairs used are very worn out & uncomfortable!! Get with the times Mailin & upgrade your salon! You're getting a lot of $$ for no comfort for your stressed out employees & customers. The owner does a great job, but it's lost on all the negatives... read more

Mailan is not a nail factory where you are sped through and they don't care, this is a WOMAN OWNED gem and you will not find a friendlier crew anywhere - even the customers are nice! Mailan has clients and their offspring that have been coming for decades, I am the newbie at 3+ years. Every technician is great and thoughtful and I don't go anywhere else. One of the mean reviews was that they don't have massage chairs, and that is correct, but in my experience they are always broken anyway (the massages are a great add on). With an abundance of choices in the Valley, Mailan is a truly great find. read more

Unfortunately, my 2nd experience was very disappointing. My adult daughter joined me this time, since I was so pleased before. This was the 1st time she had been to a nail salon since March 2020. Apparently, a regular customer was 30 minutes late and so my daughter was left unattended. Then, her appointment was rushed to be available for the customers scheduled after us. The technicians are lovely women. I understand that small businesses are trying to adapt to the new normal for their industries. Went in today for a mani and pedi and they pushed me out 30 mins after I walked in. Right after they charged my card, the lady who did my mani kept pointing to sign the receipt. Sign! Sign! Sign! I motioned that my nails are still not dry so she goes, fine, do you want me to sign!? So this nail tech illegally signs my receipt. The lady getting her nails done next to me literally looked at me in awe. Hi lady, did you not realize that YOU just painted my nails. Mind you, I was more than patient to them despite that I was clearly being rushed out. Didn't complain once and kept saying thank you. It was only until the very end that was the last straw for me- the same lady approached and said, we need this seat, and moved me to towards the front, however, did anyone end up sitting in my station?
