Complete scam of a company. I use this company for approximately four months in 2007. Don't recall having any issues with them and no longer needed the service starting in March 2008. I just received a ding on my credit report stating that I owe them $2000 in past due bills. They have a collection agency called ICC systems collecting money for them. They are falsely entering information in the credit bureau stating that the accounts are only a few months old. In my case an account that was closed in March 2008 is listed on my credit report as last being used December 26 of 2025. This is actually a federal offense to provide false information like this. Won the account was not past due and even if it was past due, it's almost 20 years old. The only way they're able to put this on. Your credit report is to falsely re-age the account. I've done some research and it's a scam that Shady collection agencies, and businesses partner up to do to extort money out of people to try to get their credit reports fixed if you just do a simple Google search or ChatGPT search of this company along with IC systems Inc. you'll find way more information than you need to follow lawsuit against these people. There are literally hundreds of complaints out here stayed in the exact same thing account from 10 1520 years ago resurfacing with crazy past due balances. read more

We used this company from 2018 to 2023. Originally, they were good, but they have no phone number you can call to talk to. They billed shipping twice, once when they forwarded our mail, and then added that charge onto another bill and charged it again. We sent them numerous tickets regarding the problem, but they did not respond. We went into their facility in person, and the person in the office said the owner handles credit, lives out of state, and was "a little behind" -- it had already been over six months! He said he would send the owner an urgent email that day. We never heard anything and sent further tickets with no response. We lost over $100 in erroneous charges to this company and finally opened an account with another service in Ann Arbor and canceled Mailbox Forwarding in Grandville. Like many people noticed ( especially Google reviews which are all negative) they charge random amounts and they have non existent customer support. I have been a customer for several years, and from time to time they randomly charge me small amount around a dollar thinking i do not notice that. So i removed my credit card from their system. And now i am getting notifications i got mail but they do not respond to urgent messages and they are asking me for ONE DOLLAR AND FORTY CENTS without telling me why. We have used the Mailboxforwarding company for quite a few years. Their California location has (largely) excellent service for us in a cost effective manner. That location is now closed, we are hopeful that the Grandville Michigan location will serve us equally well. Hopefully their staffing at the Grandville location has improved greatly since the negative (it concerned me) 2017 review was posted by someone greatly displeased with their services. I will comment again after we determine how well the Grandville location lives up to the excellent service we've received at their California location. We're hoping it's just as good! read more

I've used this company for many years, first for a business then for my personal mail when I had to move (two separate accounts). Both times I found them to be reasonably fast and professional, and the receiving and scanning quality to be high. One suggestion -- I'm frequently charged much more than anticipated because I forgot to "shred" the random mail that's sitting there. A monthly invoice by e-mail would be super helpful in allowing me to manage my account costs. Thank you! read more

I am sure, as with any business, issues arise that may disappoint customers from time to time. However, I have used this company for a number of years now as an expat and can say that I have not had a bad experience with them. Sometimes there is confusion on an issue but we always seem to get it resolved. I would say give them a chance - you're not locked into anything long-term and I have always received my mail scans timely and have been effective at forwarding services when I needed it. read more

They are thieves, imo. STAY AWAY. 1. We signed up for service last year. For months they billed us and provided no service. They claimed we did not send the proper paperwork even though I sent it by DHL on two occasions. When we returned to the States to cancel our contract, they SUDDENLY found the paperwork. 2. We asked to have our mail sent to us Federal Express Priority Overnight. They gave us an invoice for $33 but took $98 from my account for a small 2-pound envelope. To make matters worse, they mailed it on Thursday (request made on Tuesday), instructed FedEx to only deliver on weekdays (knowing we were waiting for our mail), and didn't even have the decency to do a first thing Monday morning delivery. 3. They got tired of my complaining so they locked us out of our account even though we have paid for the month. We fear they have destroyed our mail -- almost 300 pieces and some packages -- to punish me for complaining. I will settle for suing them in court, but I think they should all GO TO JAIL FOR MAIL THEFT for the way they have gone out of their way for making our lives as unpleasant as they possibly can. I had an account at their Pompano Beach, FL address. I was out of the country for 4 months having my mail forwarded there. After the first month I stopped getting mail notices, but was not able to follow up until I returned in October. After I contacted them, I found out they closed that address in July, even though they had kept charging me up until now. All mail sent to me there since June was returned to sender, without my knowledge. MBF apologized and offered to refund my payment for the last 3 months, but they only refunded their $10/month fee for using the FL address. They did not refund the $14.95/month fee for their basic service; which they did not provide for that time frame, since I was not made aware of the situation and there did not know to alter my mail arrangements. This business is highly unprofessional, and has poor customer service in this regard. I highly recommend that no one looking for this type of service do so with MailBoxForwarding. I also recommend anyone who still has service with them, to switch to another provider, before they have a similar experience as I and others have. read more
