I picked up an order clearly printed on glossy paper and was told it was matte, despite me previously ordering prints from the same location on matte paper that look completely different. The issue wouldn't be as big of a deal if they would discuss it but they're quick to ignore you and act like they don't hear you, barely giving a response. I've held out on writing a review but now that I've used them multiple times and experienced such poor customer service repeatedly, I felt a review was necessary.

Amazon instructions recommended using the original box but if none then use any rigid box. I used a box from a wireless extender I bought, sealed it up according to instructions and brought it to the store. Employee says i can't use a retail box to ship. Ok... what's my option? Buy a box or bag. Told her it's an Amazon trade in and instructions just said use a rigid box and drop off with label. She says, "Oh, it's an Amazon return?" Why should that matter I'm thinking. She continues to push don't I have the original box? No. So I ask her if she's not going to take my Amazon return, instructions didn't specify how the box looks. She talks to her coworker and now they're willing to accept it as is. I went home and looked up the UPS guidelines for packaging... it does NOT state you can't reuse a retail box, it needs to be sturdy and have any previous shipping labels removed but absolutely NO restrictions on the appearance of the box. Yes, it's only a couple bucks to buy a box/bag but the fact they try to scam people into unnecessarily buying something when it is in no way against UPS policies is really aggravating. Imagine all the people they're lying to that don't question the rules.

So, I then gave them my recently completed book (my first) about my grief journey that I both authored and added a painting to every page. He copied all 35 pages, adjusting each one for vibrancy of color and position, cut them and bound them together with a coil as this is my Christmas present for my family. They completed the job in 4 days and the finished product is beyond my wildest expectation. Plus, the price was lower than anywhere else, including the discount stores where you can self print. Great local print shop! They have an online portal where you can either message them for a quote or…read moremake an account and upload a project for printing. You can upload the project that needs to be printed or upload a project that needs their edits. Since I was a first-time customer, I was slightly confused on if I should start with a quote or just go ahead and upload my project, so I did both. I uploaded my project and got an email about it needing bleed marks. I'm not a graphic designer, so it took me awhile to figure out how to add them (if you use Canva, there's an "add bleed marks" check that you can mark). Once I sent it with the marks, we were off to the races, however I do think that everyone should be sent a final mock-up before anything is printed whether they upload a project that's ready to print or not. As a non printing pro, I need that reassurance. ;) The overall product turned out perfectly and was done for a reasonable price. I needed a quick turnaround for the project and Laurie went out of her way to go into work early so that I could pick up my printing material in time for an event. That was so kind of her and was really impressive overall. If you are confused by the website, I'd recommend calling or walking in (their door says "walk-ins welcome") and they'll help you get rolling, as they are super kind and hard-working over here!
