Been on my try list for sometime and stop buy today because I was feeling like something spicy. For the spicy leg quarters, I wanted to initially to get the supreme level but was told I needed to sign a waiver to order that?? Lol so I just got spicy, I should of just signed the waiver because spicy wasn't spicy enough for me. I'm sure plenty of folks like this place very much so but it just wasn't for me. Parking is paid at structure nearby, staff is super friendly, and interior dining is very limited (unless you plan for to-go) Had their two slider combo in medium which was still hot in my opinion. I literally have to thank this Main Chick and all of their employees for keeping my boyfriend fed. I am mostly writing this review from his pov. My boyfriend is a big chicken tenders/chicken sandwich and fries guy and has tried almost all of the chicken places in town. This is hands-down his favorite! I often work late nights so he is mostly on his own for dinner and 9/10 times he is ordering from main chick. He has never been disappointed by the quality of the chicken or the employees. He loves the service and has even gotten to know some of the employees, which is why they know who he is when he walks in. The parking garage where this restaurant is located has some spots for quick pickup but can get filled up by uber eats drivers waiting for orders to be ready. Ive eaten with him a couple of times and the fries are always my favorite, their signature sauce adds a lot of flavor as well! Their spice levels can get a little spicy so just be careful. Another one of those places that you just stumbled upon. We just happened to turn the corner and noticed a street just full of takeout happening. Of course, the hungry game starts. Walked by this place and noticed that it was happening which is always a good thing. Stood in line for a bit before the people in front of us told us that you need to scan the menu and order from your phone. Downfall with that was, it took us a while to actually get the menu on our phone. We would get it and place the order but it wouldn't go through. After a few minutes, we just gave up and left. Got back to the car and gave it another try and it finally went through. Didn't take that long fir out order to be ready. It also gives you arrival time to pick up your food. Menu is good but down to basic. Chicken and more chicken. We went with the chicken sandwich meal and the 6 piece chicken strips meal. They both came with a side of fries and sauces. But you add more if needed for a fee. When you place your order, from there you choose the flavor of spiciness to your liking. When we picked up the order, the gentleman's hat was working there was really sweet and helpful. He did mentioned to us before hand that it maybe easier to just go on the site for the menu. But we managed after a while. Food on the other hand was great. It's a good amount with the fries that comes with it. Also they are seasoned which is a plus. We tried it medium as it's in the middle. But their chicken is just so damn good. Get a sandwich with some fries and you're set to go. The chicken is juicy and crispy with nice fresh slaw. They are sliders so if your hungry I'd definitely recommend getting more than one. Hot has decent spice. Supreme hurts. I will never get supreme again. It's not worth the pain lol It's a small restaurant on a strip of restaurants. There's a small bar where you can eat for here orders but you'll most likely need to take it to go and eat at one of the many outdoor seating areas in south pas. After hearing lots of positive reviews from friends, decided to give Main Chick a try. Ordered combo #2 (3 chicken tenders) and #3 (2 chicken sandwiches) so that I could sort of do a comparison as I recently had Howlin'. I ordered the tenders with a mild heat level and sandwiches in the medium heat level. I thought the medium here at Main Chick tasted more like Howlin's mild. The flavor of the chicken was pretty good but the bread on the sandwiches was soggy and the tenders weren't crispy. Pretty sure everything was freshly made as the tenders were still super hot when I was eating them. I've had leftover Howlin' sandwiches, wings and tenders the next day and those all had a better crunch than what I just had at Main Chick. Perhaps they need a thicker batter for the fried chicken? Overall, Main Chick is decent given the close proximity to home and without the long wait. Will go back to try the tenders and regular fried chicken to see if things improve. Pretty good chicken... naked. I am not too crazy about their spice combination but the chicken itself was pretty good, combined with their coleslaw and roll. The fries are done right as well. I think what really makes this place a game changer is the fact that they actually season their fries similarly as their chicken which means the fries are not bland. Fries are also crunchy and have a good taste especially when dipped in the main chick sauce. I personally go for the medium heat because it has a nice kick to it, yet the heat level is still tolerable enough to eat the chicken comfortably. I was very excited to try this place because I've been seeing a lot of people post about it and my friend said he loves this place. This place is like a 3.5-4 to me. We did a large Postmates order and I got the combo 1 with medium spicy. I'd like to say the chicken itself is pretty good and juicy, but it was pretty spicy for me even tho I'm usually a medium girl. Some people got the mild and they said it wasn't spicy so I think there needs to be a better balance in the spice level. We did have a missing combo in our order so we ended up fixing that with Postmates. My friends been telling me I needed to check this place out for awhile now and today presented the opportunity to finally try it. I was able to order ahead on their/chowhound website and it was hot and fresh when I arrived right on time. My friends and I liked the food a lot and one of everyone's favorite things was that they had menu options that provided multiple types of food in one box instead of needing to order everything ala carte. A lot of these places only deal with tenders, so I was happy to see they had actual chicken 1/4's; it had a very nice crust on it and was a generous size portion. For now, only pickup but I think that changes tomorrow and I'd like to come back and try it fresh fresh without the travel time for it to steam up. The medium was not hot, but flavorful.
