This place looks good. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. I got their onion rings, farm fries, and all in burger to try. The onion rings were perfectly crispity crunchity, frangrant, oniony, and came with some thousand island dipping sauce. The farm fries were some nicely crunchy, seasoned, curly fries topped with gooey cheese, crisp bacon bits, grilled onions, and tangy thousand island. Pure deliciously. The all in burger had more thousand island, lettuce, underripe avocado, a chewy bouncy mushroom patty, savory bacon and cheese, a well seasoned good quality burger patty all on a pillowy airy brioche. Hard for a burger spot to usually hit the spot for me but this one did and is pretty good. Onion rings $5.25 Farm fries $6 All in burger $15.75

My coworker suggested this place for lunch and I finally came by. On a Saturday afternoon in late May, my sister and I ordered their regular cheeseburger and garlic fries online for pick up. lunch. It wasn't too busy inside. Our food was ready on time at the counter. The garlic Parmesan fries are really good and the cheeseburger was yummy on a brioche bun. It wasn't greasy or messy instead not messy to eat it. I was impressed. Hard to find street parking.

My dog and I were heading home from shopping around in Old Town and we walked past this spot. I was getting quite hungry and to be honest, a burger did sound good. Glancing at the menu outside their window I was looking at their burger options. I'm really big on BBQ and onion rings so Poppy Q was right up my alley. Then I saw that there was a combo option, SOLD! Decided to walk in and ordered the Poppy Q Combo. I was right away welcomed by Jason & Victor! They were amazing! Thanks guys! The burger was both visually appealing and incredibly satisfying. Served on a poppy seed bun with a prime cut beef patty, crispy onion rings, barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese, and bacon, every bite was rich, savory, and mouthwatering. The fries were also good! I will say, fries are a hit or miss. But these had that ideal crispy texture that makes each bite satisfying. The spot is spacious, so a good amount of indoor seating. Unfortunately, parking may be a problem around Old Town. That's a given. So good luck with the street meter parking, private lot parking, parking structure parking, etc. Would definitely recommend!

5 star burger spot in Pasadena. The burgers are really good. Always made to order. I would go as far to say that this place has the best fries in Pasadena. The onion rings are good. They have their own special sauce. One of the cleanest restaurants in Pasadena. The service is great. Everyone is friendly and makes ordering and eating their very pleasant. Parking: you gotta find a lot. Not lot or parking spaces. Overall: Will 1000% return for their burger combo.

3/04/2026: Stopped in for a light, late lunch. The hubster saw a video on TikTok and I'm so glad he did! The Double Class Act combo comes with a delicious, well charred burger made from locally sourced prime beef with American cheese, beefsteak tomato, juicy pickles, fresh lettuce and onion on a brioche bun. The bread to beef ratio is perfection! They have half-shroom or fully vegan patty options as well. I don't usually care for a thicker cut fry.. but their long, coated fries are addictive. A generous portion to share.. but you might not want to! The service is super friendly. Kevin is behind the counter and will take you through the menu and bring your order to the table. He also has a great music mix playing! Oingo Boingo and so much more from the 80's and 90's! I was going to give 4.5 stars.. they get the extra half for the tunes of my youth! The place is immaculate and very comfortable. There's a free public parking structure conveniently located at the end of the block. Do yourself a favor and come give Mr. Mushroom Burger a try! You will not be sorry!

I ate here three times today, and ordered take out twice once for some friends and a second time for my wife. These burgers are very tasty, very fresh and at 5.99 for a Class Act Double what more could you want? The long coat fries are amazing, got an order of onion rings to go for the wife they look good but the order has only 6 rings so take that how you will. Do not park in the lot nearby it's 12 dollars flat cost more than a meal here. Pasadena parking be scamming.

I know I said i was done with smash burgers, but when I looked at their menu, the burgers didn't really look "smashy". I'm so glad I tried them. This was an amazing fu*king burger. I'm talking up there with Amboy and Hen & Heifer. Even their fries were different. Super thick but crispy. I got the chili cheese fries upgrade and they were fire! If I had 1 knock, it would be the lack of fountain drinks. I need an ice cold drink with my high caloric meals.

I've been back and forth between a vegetarian and pescetarian since the late 1900s, so when my boyfriend asked if I wanted to go try a mushroom burger, I had immediate visions of the sad half cooked, weirdly grill marked, whole portobello mushroom cap "burgers" that I spent a large portion of my tween years pretending to enjoy. Happily, the mushroom patties here have almost nothing in common with those mushroom monstrosities of the past, besides the shared fungi base. I really enjoyed the taste and texture of the mushroom patty. The texture is similar to an impossible or beyond burger patty, but without the heavy grease feeling that those can leave you with. I'll take a house recipe vegetarian patty 4 out of 5 times, so having a tasty nearby option for that when my boyfriend is craving a burger is exciting. I also have to call out the fries here. I'm a fry fiend. These are SO good. They're coated with a slight seasoning for that extra flavor and crunch, cut thick enough to alllllllmost be steak fries, and they're so very fluffy inside. I was shocked at how in to these fries I was, and my boyfriend agrees that they're delicious. He ordered a classic burger, which is smash burger style, and cleaned his plate, so their regular burger also gets a thumbs up. Lastly, the staff was very friendly, and easily explained when I had a question about a sauce. I'm happy, and I see some more mushroom burgers (and fries!!!) in my future.

Their a burger for all. Pure goop and salt. Their flat burnt patty. I can't believe a cow died for this.

Where do I start? With the smell of a warm urinal cake wafting in the air as you enter the place? How confused the people serving the food look when you ask them if they have a side of chili? Is it the bland decor? Nah. It's how horrible the food is. The burgers are show with thick juicy patties. What do I get? An over cooked thin layer of shoe leather that tastes rancid, drenched in an indescribable sauce which is nothing more than goo. The food was pure salt. The patties were flat, burned, coated in a thick dusting of salt to cover for the spoiled meat taste. Their only saving grace for this place were the fries. The fries were delicious. Everything else made me want to vomit.

Great spot walking distance from where I work. A couple colleagues and I tried it out today for lunch and it was pretty dang good. The fries were very crispy, maybe even double fried, which smacked. The burger was great, a little messy, but well-seasoned, great char and nicely cooked. Service was great too. Highly recommend for those who are in the area looking for their new go-to burger spot. Will be coming back at some point to try their chili cheese fries.

New burger spot in downtown Pasadena, offering vegetarian mushroom and beef burgers. They have a simple menu with a few different ways to enjoy a beef or vegetarian burger and a couple side options. I tried the All in burger with French fries. It was so good, I came back a second time to get the all in burger and asked for rosemary french fries and it was a great choice. It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating to dine-in or you can order togo. The only downside is the building has a bit of a funky smell but that's out of their control. The staff are friendly and I learned that the owner has a mushroom farm. Makes sense since the business has mushroom farm in the name.

So... Here's the deal For the Best Burger on Earth - try the Class Act Double... The Bread.... "Aaahhhhiy... " ...sounds like you got redirected to a porn site cause you forgot to clear your history browser while you were opening up your laptop at the public library...yea it's like that ... tasty...and embarrassing cause you never came here before..."ahhh yeaaa!" The pickle - sweet and relishy for a go to "surprise !" Pickly flavor ...but still a pickle...and pickly...and relishy ... The cheese - stays melted like she's your biatch and you got her wrapped around your little finger...in this case ... she stays snug under the buns and hot ans melted for a cheesy goodness feeling that never goes away...again under the hermetically sealed insulation of these super special sesame buns... The onions - grilled and trying to be like the pickle by making the pickle a little jealous but doesn't have the looks to pull the heist off ...but enough to have you glancing sideways at the combo and the possible hall pass your wife will never give you for not sharing this part of the burger with her... The fries - like your dumb uncle - not better than the burger but annoying enough to interrupt your every Burger bite... gotta have an uncle around like this that breaks up the monotony of paradise meat flavors... All in all... You're now in "Burger Heaven... " ...do not pass go.. do not go to jail... do not collect $200 dollars... just go straight to "Burger Heaven..."... You won There is nothing left for you to do here anymore... Except come back again for another go at life...!!! Best burger on Earth! Now I ask thee... !? Am I lying !? I THANKS NOT!!!! I only bow down to these Burger Lords from now on... Think of this place as the Burger Mecca... And circle around it a few thousand lifetimes... There is no escaping the karmic goodness of THE BEST burger on Earth... Disclaimer: Any review contradicting what I just wrote here is garnering a straight pass to the very gates of Hell ... for being a faker and a hater... don't believe the haters... this Burger is the real BEST BURGER on URF!

This is a burger joint with a diverse menu, including one of the biggest breakfast burritos in town. I got my burrito with bacon. The burrito comes with hashbrown style potatoes, eggs and cheese - you get a choice of ham, bacon or sausage for your meat (or have it without meat). The bacon was crispy and remained crispy when I reheated my other half. Not only is the bacon crispy, the burrito has a generous amount of it! Oh and the other plus - the tortilla does not come wet and soggy and remains in perfect condition if you have leftovers. The burrito comes with only one salsa and to be honest, you really do need two for such a big burrito. I'm a green salsa girl but I asked what I should go with and I was recommended the red one (the green one is supposedly spicier). The red salsa did not disappoint other than I needed one more for my whole burrito (there's no kick to this salsa but it's tasty). The burrito itself isn't bursting with flavor on its own and it requires the salsa to compliment the other ingredients. But, who eats a breakfast burrito without salsa? There is ample parking in their parking lot and there's seating both inside and outside. I will definitely be returning to satisfy my breakfast burrito craving very soon and if this is what you're looking for - stop reading reviews and go get you one at Lucky Boy (it's served all day).

I always start off my ratings with cleanliness. I worked in a high volume restaurant back in the 70's. If you weren't doing something you were cleaning. Ordered the classic burger, fries and coke. First bite of the burger was a little disappointing. Burger was thin and seemed overcooked to me. I thought it was dry. Roll, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo were ok. Not bad overall but for some reason I expected a better burger experience. Let's talk about the fries. Truly classic French fried potatoes. Perfectly cooked. Light golden color. Nice texture and flavor. What every French fry should look and taste like. Coke was great. Sorry to say I was not impressed by the burger. This was my experience on 05/09/2026. Could have been cleaner and maybe the burger not overcooked. Your experience may be totally different.

I thought I already reviewed the best burger in Pasadena!…read more On my first visit, a standard burger was $3.95. I forget what it is now-- $6??? As good as this burger is, it's still a deal. Super Burger is owned by a super-nice Korean family. There are various Korean dishes in their menu available but I only go there for the burgers. What makes their simple burgers so great? First off the burger patty-- the patties are formed in-house. The cooked patties have that irregular edge that can only come from being hand-formed; imperfect and delicious. These aren't the frozen discs delivered by a freezer truck. The ratio of the ingredients are ideal. -- The tomato is sliced to the perfect thickness -- The freshly-shredded lettuce doesn't manspread and take up too much of the burger's real estate -- The thousand island dressing marries the freshness of the veggie section to the animal part perfectly -- The burger patty's girth is appropriately balanced for the other ingredients. -- Their buns have that old-school yeast(?) flavor not available in stores. Their burgers are lovingly prepared and assembled with care. This is why whenever I go, there are always people there. Seating is strictly patio style, looking out onto the intersection of Altadena and Villa. There lot is small lot next to the stand. I'm not sure if it's shared with another business. Street parking is available. Even though super burger is basically a corner burger stand with patio seating, the place is always clean. Super Burger is definitely a sure thing. It is the finest example of what a basic, standard burger can be. Bun, burger patty, lettuce, tomato, and dressing doesn't get better than this.
