WOW. Do not waste your money and time coming here. The food is by far the worst I have ever seen and the prices are $$$. One small glass of soda is $3.25 and most of it is ice. It shows that they are squeezing their customers every penny so they can afford the fancy lights outside the building. A $30 game card got my daughter a lollipop and one nerds worth of tickets. Only because zero stars isn't an option. I called ahead of time and asked if there were a wait for the bowling lanes and the lady told me no and even if there were a wait it would be 10 minutes max. I live around the corner so I got there 8 minutes later and there was magically a 45 minute wait. I put my name down on the wait list. I walked up 45 minutes later to get a status check on the wait time and the lady told me another 45 minutes. I said that's what the lady told me 45 minutes ago. So fun! This place is so worth it! The ticket I bought included billiards, bowling, laser tag, and the gravity ropes. The food is pretty good here too. For less than $20 you can play for the whole afternoon until closing! Definitely had a fun time playing laser tag and running around and taking on the daunting high challenge on the gravity ropes, overlooking the arcade below. Extremely Disappointed!! We've visited many times and never had a problem until I decided to have a birthday party there. Our reservation wasn't ready at the reserved time, our game cards were not loaded with any value, and our party host was unable to be located at least twice. Spent $50 on 300 tickets and was not even able to spend 100 with my significant other because of the actual lack of operational games to even play. Complete dump and extremely overpriced for what Is offered, when I say every other machine is broken I am not exaggerating. I threw up from the natchos. The small pizza was horrifying, the sodas costs what a beer should. The games are over priced, the prizes required too many tickets, the games produced very few tickets, Lazer tag wasn't so bad but my son's gun didn't work. The funnest area in the place is the interactive projection game that's on the ground in front of the bowling area. The bowling wasn't too bad but it doesn't matter because the food was so terrible. I will never go back. Couple nice employees, the rest look like they were hating life and extremely short with answers. Ok, LOVE the concept, the facility is beautiful and the entertainment options are really nice. The lack of enthusiasm of just a few members of the staff leaves something to be desired and kind of drained my own excitement. I attended a Holiday get together at this location on 12/20/17. The 1st person to greet Us was Ebenezer; His level of customer service was unmatched by anyone else that I came into contact while there!! He was smiling, very informative and always seemed to know when our glasses needed to be refilled. I watched the interaction between my coworker and the gentleman running the ropes; he, too, was very engaging and attentive. My interaction with a gentleman that, I believe was, a manager, was very positive; he promptly addressed my concern and followed up with the party planner to address any additional concerns. Now, the ladies in the prize area, where you sign up for Laser tag? They are either unhappy employees, or being held hostage. They never cracked a smile, never said a word that wasn't required, did not seem to really care that our group was there. I do realize they are not there to entertain, per se, but, they could "appear" to enjoy helping customers, being employed, or even alive. I, too, see the same thing daily in my job, but for those I serve, it is, very often, the entire experience that counts. Will I go back, or recommend this place to others? Poor service in the sit-down restaurant area, after 15 minutes of waiting I had to walk up to the bartender to find out there wasn't a server. Then after mentioning all this the the front desk, they were completely unaware there was no server. We wanted to go there for leer tag and bowling. Unfortunately the wait was 3-4 hours. Understandable. So, we settled on arcades and dinner. Paid for an hour of games and figured we would grab some food while we waited. After being in the bar area for 20 minutes, we went to the dining area. Stood by the sign that says "Please wait to be seated" and stood there for 15 minutes without even an acknowledgement from a staff member (including the one sitting directly behind me checking temperatures once every 3-5 minutes as guests came in.) Finally, after watching the staff drag their tails with no interest in their customers, I decide it's enough. However, when asking for a refund, they tell us we can't have one. So we ended up giving our cards to some kids in line and decided to head over to D&B instead of spend any more time supporting a company who doesn't care about their customers. read more

We had a table and needed to walk to the bar to ask for my sons drink. They hardly check up on you. Food seemed a little pricey. Arcade games are real pricey aswell. We went on a busy Saturday night and tried to find out what the best options of play were. Front desk was of no help at all, no smiles and complete lack of customer service. Went to the laser tag desk and got the same type of treatment. Was told by desk rep best play days were Monday to Friday. Clearly they didn't want our business. Tried again the next day Sunday hoping maybe just the busy Saturday was the issue. Guess what, same rude and unfriendly workers but we figured out on our own what to do. Still had 3 kids not happy with their experience. They got ripped off on games and good luck findings attendant to help. Other similar game places have been so much better than Main Event. Poor poor customer service and general employee attitudes! You need to have people constantly circulating and having presence amongst your patrons. read more

We took our kids here on a Saturday, for the first time. We showed up at 3:00 p.m. and bought 5 unlimited wrist bands so we could do the gravity ropes, bowling, and lazer tag as much as we wanted! Nobody told us there is a waitlist for all of these events. The first (gravity ropes) wasn't until 5:10 p.m., the second was lazer tag which wasn't until 5:45 p.m., and bowling was a 3 hour wait so we couldn't even do that. Also, bowling is extra for the shoes! Not included in the wrist band price! We figured we could wait for the two events since we planned on eating there. We went to go into the pizza restaurant and it was closed. It stayed closed the entire time we were there. We asked to speak with a manager to get a refund since we were hungry and couldn't do any of the events and he told us wristbands were only refunded in the first 15 minutes and that we should have planned our night better! We then asked when the restaurant would be open and he said he didn't know and that it should be open now. It was not! He was VERY rude! I am not sure how we could have planned our night better when we had no plans and weren't aware of any of the waitlists and no food! We have spread the word to friends and family and we will not be returning! read more

All other staff members go out of their way to not acknowledge and look your way. Came here with my family (there were 8 of us) for our monthly meet up. Our service started out fine, but as time went on, our server checked on us less and less. When our food came it was ok, not the best or worse I've tasted but we had to wait a long time to have our drinks refilled. At one point, my mom went to use the restroom and had to tell the hostess how messy and unstocked it was. I don't really think she cared bc we went back later and the bathrooms were still gross. My family are huge Cardinals fans so we also asked if the game could be put on one of the TVs. We had to ask 3 different people bc the first 2 (managers) told us (rudely) they didn't have the (LOCAL) channel it was on (NBC). Finally we asked a server and she kindly got the channel changed for us. Finally, we tried to bowl and the wait time was 2 hours bc "of all the birthday parties"- it was 9 PM. In any case, this isn't really a place we were impressed with which is unfortunate. We will not be coming back. Update: the manager reached out asking if he could make it right, which is nice. This place is great as far as the activities avalible but I'm writing this from the prospective of a parent. I came because of some deal they promoted and come to find out at the register... they hide in the promo that there are hidden fees i.e. shoe rental, lazer tag fees ect. I also wouldn't come after dark as alcohol is served and last thing I want to a bunch of tweens liquored up in the next bowling lane next to my kid. The first impression I got when I walked in was that it was very different and neat and kind of like a smaller Dave and Busters. My family and I ordered food that was really tasty and priced reasonably, but waited quite a while for. While we waited we went and tried out the arcade games. They were really over priced and one of the card collectors for a certain game didn't even work. It wasn't a real biggy as one of the employees was fast to help and fix it. Another thing I was not impressed with at all was when we went to get prizes with our tickets and the employees were messing around with each other playing a game or something like that while we waited for them to help us. We had my son's 10th birthday party there Sunday. I was absolutely confused when I realized the entire first hour was sitting at a table with pizza and cake. How many kids do you know that eat pizza and cake for an hour while games are everywhere? That was such a waste of my party time. I paid for the higher package which was $24.95 per child and that just is outrageously expensive for what I feel I got out of it all. The gravity ropes and laser tag were fun, but we only got 15 minutes for each. I definitely would not recommend a party here. If you want to come with your family and spend the day here, that's up to you, but don't have a party here. read more

Got on the wait list to be seated for food I was told it would be a long wait which I did understand since it was Sunday afternoon which I'm sure is rush time, our daughter was here for a birthday. Needless to say the hostesses both looked so unhappy and confused about their job. I saw two party's the same size as mine arrive after me to check in and get in faster than I did. Many tables were open with no reserved signs . I eyed a table the entire time I waited only to be seated at that exact table in the end. This table was open the whole 40 minutes I waited but waited 40 minutes to sit there? Hostesses were incredibly unhappy and very confused the entire time, no organization what's so ever. When we finally sat down. We waited about 15 minutes only for no one to check in with us at all. Meanwhile other people around us are being greeted and orders taken. We eventually got up and left after wafting nearly an hour and walked over to the parking lot next door to eat at a burger joint. Probably ate here and left sooner than I would have gotten to eat at all at Main Event. The power was out a couple weeks ago upon our arrival and the manager on duty gave my daughter a free bowling voucher which really made her day. Came here for my Big 3-0 and had a great time. We got the unlimited game play and it was awesome, I would definitely recommend it. Got our money worth, that's for sure. However stars were lost because of the bar and the bar service. First, I am a not a big drinker so usually if I have one mixed cocktail I am already feeling a little tipsy... I had three, three drinks! That is a lot for me and it was if I was drinking a lemonade, I feel like there was a splash of alcohol, if any in these drinks and they aren't cheap. Second, we did indeed order a regular lemonade for my friend who is pregnant and when we got the drink, it was clearly intended to be a cocktail, when I returned it we were not offered a refund for the mishap so instead paid for an alcoholic beverage when all we were getting was a lemonade. The bartender wasn't very kind or helpful and she just seemed annoyed when placing drink orders. At one point my mom told her another friend of mine wanted to place an order and her response was "that's fine, I guess," That's fine you guess??!! this is your job and that is why you are there so of course it is fine. Anyways, if we come back it will be for the games only, we will not waste our time at the bar. read more
