This is fun and not too expensive when they are running specials. It's a little pricey if you pay full price for the activities but it's usually cost effective when they are running specials. I had a great time embarrassing myself bowling with my wife and son. Main Event has a fun vibe complete with bowling, videos games, laser tag, food and drinks. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. The bowling lanes are automated and easy to use and their are numerous tv monitors broadcasting videos and sporting events. Lane lighting changes and make things interesting while an overhead monitor gives bowling advice. The video area is large with easy access to the most popular games. We came after dinner so didn't have a chance to sample any food. We will be back for more I am sure. Get a lane reservation online and walk right past the line. read more

I went to Main Event for a friend's holiday work party, and the experience was just okay for me. We were with a pretty large group of adults, and the service was pretty slow even though the venue was booked for the group well in advance. They just seemed extremely understaffed on the floor for as many people as were guaranteed to be there. The bar also seemed overly bogged down. It was pretty easy to get a bowling lane. I can't speak for the availability of the ropes course or laser tag. The arcade floor was pretty crowded, and it took a while to find a game I wanted to play that was open. I liked the addition of the bowling, but for what's available at Main Event and for the distance from where I live, it's just about the same and closer for me to go to Dave & Buster's or to just a bowling alley. read more

Never again. Just got back from main event and the staff was awful. We asked one of the staff members if laser tag was still going on and she just stared at us. She didn't make any effort to answer our question. After asking if she heard the question, she shook her head and our question went unanswered. When we finally managed to get an answer from one of the staff members, the guy in charge of laser tag was very dry and ill-mannered. When one of the girls in our group put her vest on backwards he kept yelling at her saying she was wrong. While we were playing the game one of my friends tripped and he kept threatening to kick us out. My group was 17-19 years of age so I'm guessing they thought it was okay to be rude to us because we are around their age, but how they treated us was wrong and VERY unprofessional. I came here for a family birthday party today. There were 15 people in our group, including 3 toddlers who needed high chairs, 3 children, 2 teenagers, and 7 adults. We arrived at about 12:30 pm. It was not difficult to find enough tables and chairs to push together to accommodate our group. The food we ate was delicious and served at the right temperature. However, everything else about our dining experience was poor. First, we waited about 10 minutes until our drink orders arrived. Then it was another 10 minutes before our appetizers arrived. Then it was another 25 minutes before our entrees arrived. It was difficult to get the attention of our server when we needed it. One of our entrees did not come out with the others, and it did not make it to our table before we were ready to move on to the gaming areas. We had to request plates and napkins after our appetizers arrived. We also had to request cloth napkins and silverware after our entrees arrived. This is my third visit to this location of Main Event. My first two visits were positive. One was a family outing; another was a Christmas party. I realize that it was the end of spring break and a Saturday, but I did not expect the service to be this slow or inattentive to the needs of our group. read more

My friends and I decided to come here on Monday for a birthday celebration. No reservations, but we were able to take advantage of their $10 unlimited bowling, laser tag and ropes course. The $10 doesn't include bowling shoes, which will run you another $4. The bar staff was slow and not the friendliest. All my friends and myself are bartenders/ servers and were disappointed at the service. The bartender was busy chatting with friends throughout for the most part. We finally got 2 lanes 15 minutes after quote time. The server their was swamped and we received even slower service from her. The food was bland, but not too much can be expected from an arcade joint. The worst part was during our laser tag experience. We all ended our night with 2 games of tag. Both times, we were grouped with employees who were off the clock. One girl in particular was very loud and pretty obnoxious. We had 2 kids under 16 with us and both heard the employees curse numerous times in front of us. I'm an adult, so I don't care. However, we had children around. We went to the okc location off of memorial today, and I must say I'm not too impressed. I normally go to 'Hey Day' or 'Dave and Busters' but I thought we would give this place a shot. Needless to say I should have gone to the usual places. The staff were not friendly at all, I used to work retail and always tried to make sure my customers were happy. The bowling desk staff said nothing as I redeemed the $5 email funcard, I did not feel welcomed at all. The people at the prize area weren't to happy either, I get they have to deal with a ton of people and it gets tiring but come on at least say something to your customers. The prices of the games were a little outrageous at least compared to other places. I will just stick with 'Hey Day' and 'D&B. read more

Was there at 930 in the morning. Wanted to beat the crowd. 2nd person in line for unlimited pass. 950 still 2nd person in line as lots of staff look around not knowing what to do. Go play laser tag. That was run great. Go bowl. Given wrong shoes size. Then even though 80 percent of lanes open. They put people next to each other. Then reset the game in the 5th frame. Managers says he is short staffed and sorry, so many things are going wrong. You know what you still pay full price for a short staff. Had a funcard from corporate party a few weeks ago. They messed up that time as well and gave funcards for mistake. However I left money on card for another visit. Funcards expire just like milk does. Needs help! read more

I've been to the Main Event in Grapevine and was excited to go to this one, but was extremely disappointed. First off, the restaurant part of our evening was awful. First off, we waited a ridiculous amount of time to even put our name in. A waiter finally saw us waiting and ran over just to tell us that he had no idea where the hostess was, but would seat us. We were quickly seated, but waited 10 minutes for a waitress to even see we were in her section. The drinks and appetizers came out quickly, but the food came out in spurts, so half our party was almost done by the time the rest of us had food. And if this wasn't a bad enough experience, one of the entrees we ordered had a long, white hair in it. When we stopped someone and told them, it took many employees for anything to even be done. While the staff was friendly, the service was just terrible. The games are also super expensive. We thought $45 on each card was plenty, but the games are all at least $1.50 each. Our kids went through their cards so fast. If all this wasn't bad enough, the restrooms were a mess. read more

Worst service I have received and it was my 1st visit. Waited in line 20 minutes for a card but they were having issues, so they told me to sit down and I could get a card with my meal, than it took 30 minutes for 1 order of chicken strips for my 3 year old. Love this place! So much fun, for kids and adults! The drinks are slightly expensive, but the food is great. We loved bowling, video games, and laser tag. Today was my first time here and I have mixed feelings about my experience. My first thought as I entered was that it's really cool since it contains many of the activities I did while growing up (arcade games, laser tag, bowling, etc..) plus more. It would make a fun place to hang out for groups of adults (contains pool tables, dining area, and a bar) and families because there are activities for kids as well. Since I did not stay long, I will only critique on what I experienced and that was terrible customer service. The wait staff never came to take our food orders. Even when I attempted to ask a waitress, she walked away and never came back. One of my coworkers had to go to the bar to say something and the bartender never sent a wait staff over to take our orders. Eventually, we got up and ordered our drinks at the bar and some of us waited in line for pizza in which no plates or napkins were provided to them. If eating here is going to be this much of a disappointment, then why even have wait staffs and servers when no one is doing their job... Looking at other reviews, it's obvious I'm not the only one complaining about this. I hope that the business does something about the poor food services, otherwise it would become one of those places that everyone will soon forget since Top Golf is going to be nearby! read more

Went to this place for the first time. When I walked in everything looks amazing. They have something for all ages, as in pool tables, bowling, laser tag, video games, Gravity, etc. This place is like a Dave and Buster but way more stuff to do. We went on a Tuesday to avoid the mad rush on Monday and the weekends. We played games and had a couple drinks. The drink prices were fine in my book and the service was good but they weren't busy. The mediocre grade is more for the games. Some games cost $1.50 and are literally finished in less than 15 seconds. That's a huge rip off if you ask me. We went to main event tonight to meet up with some friends hoping to have dinner and let our kids play a few games. We met up around 6 and immediately went and sat down to eat. It wasn't very busy at all so I was not expecting the type of service, or lack of service, we had. He took our drink orders and appetizer orders just fine, delivered our drinks and that was pretty much the last we saw of him. Someone else delivered our appetizers, the spinach and artichoke dip for us, the pretzel for my friends family. We received no silverware, plates or napkins. He never bothered to check up on us or take our dinner order even though I watched that same server visit the table beside us multiple times to make sure to take their order, and deliver their food. Finally after around 45 minutes I went and asked someone to find our waiter so we could just receive our ticket and go, she was extremely polite and I wish I had gotten her name as she even took the time to come back to our table to let me know when she found him. It still took him several minutes to come over to us, and even though we asked for separate checks he proceeded to bring one and not even wait even though both my husband and hers already had their cards out ready to pay. Once he did come back and we explained again that they were separate checks, he proceeded to disappear with our credit card for another 10-15 minutes. I am beyond disappointed with the service we received and am unsure if we will ever be back. The games were fun and my four year old enjoyed that part, however I have to say they are extremely over priced. From what I saw the majority are $1.50 a piece. One game essentially ate $2.50, (it was a claw game and we never got our turn) which yes, chances are we would have never won at it anyways, but my son really wanted the chance to play it and he worked hard to earn the trip. After the service we received in the food court I'm unsure if we'll be back, and I highly doubt if we do every go back we'll eat there again. read more

I went here for a friends birthday and we ate at the restaurant. The service was terrible. We had to ask for a waitress and when we got one she was very rude, slow, never once checked on us unless we stopped her as she was walking by, never refilled our drinks. As we were ordering our dessert she took one persons order and walked off as if the rest of us didn't want anything. There was one waiter who looked incredibly happy to be there and was enjoying his tables but this lady was such a downer and needs some training. We did not go play any games after such a bad experience so I cannot speak for that aspect of this place but the restaurant was awful. read more

I came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend and can say that this is the single best entertainment venue in OKC. I haven't been to Hayday, but this place makes Dave and Buster's look like Chuck E Cheese's. We arrived at about 3pm and got $25 worth of games ($30 in credit) on a game card similar to Dave and Buster's. We played for an hour and then went to get the $17.95 all you can play laser tag, bowling, and gravity ropes. Unfortunately there were a bunch of birthday parties and a bowling league so there was a bit of a wait, but we got two games of laser tag and two games of bowling in before we left at about 8pm. The laser tag was great and this is definitely the bet bowling alley I have seen in OKC. It's pricey without the deal, but every two lanes or so has a giant projection screen at the end. The arcade was a typical Dave and Buster's style arcade. There are a lot of ticket games and games based on apps, but that seems to be the going style, unfortunately, so you can't really blame them. Overall we got five ours of entertainment for around $50, and we could have stayed until closing for the same amount of money. read more

However management has no concept how to organize operations for efficient customer service. 20-30 minute minimum wait for anything (drinks, tickets, etc). Completely over priced ($22 for a six pack, $34 for an hour of bowling). My biggest concern was seeing infants there at 12:45 a.m. and a constant annoyance from the staff. All the right elements.
