Main Event is very well kept, However the staffing is poor. They never have know one to sit you you can never order food @ bowling only certain times. They can never take your order you have to find a bar guy/girl to take an order & that's only if he/she feels like it. No communication everyone is just walking talking never assisting. I believe if the right management take control this place could very well be a 5 star event. They also need better cooks, Main Event needs some serious culinary. Visited the highly anticipated Main Event this weekend and it was a fun experience. The servers in the dining area still have to work out a lot of kinks and knowledge of the menu as well as other miscellaneous offerings but that is always expected as a grand opening weekend. (That's never a big deal to me for brand spanking new establishments) The arcade games are pretty cool, but nothing you haven't seen before. I do appreciate them having multiple air hockey machines since that's one of my personal favorite games! Something that sparked our interest was the zip line! Yep, an indoor zip line...That caught our attention almost immediately once you walk in good. It was a bit confusing though because you have to prepay prior to participating and there was no sign to indicate that or where to go to do so. We innately knew there had to be a "catch" so we inquired early on. You first have to visit the ticket center to pay and make a reservation. Laser tag and bowling is there too, however we did not play either at the time. I love that most of the games offer electronic tickets so there are no paper tickets- all the ticket points are loaded onto the fun cards. So bye bye humble bragging & lugging a bag full of tickets. There was only 1 game I noticed that gave you an actual game chip as a ticket so you have to submit those into a machine that will then upload those chip points to your funcard. Again, there was no clear sign indicating that. We found out as we were cashing out our points from the funcard. Had there been long wait times coupled with long lines; I can easily see how this would have been very problematic- especially for families ready to check out and leave. My food thoughts: Cheese pizza- my 5 year old said, " I am not a fan." It was by no means "freshly made in house" but it was decent frozen pizza to me to rid the hunger. But, I will not try again. Lemon pepper wings + fries: two thumbs up. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Bacon Cheeseburger: the beef was not cooked well done and the bacon was undercooked. I think if you're specific with how you want it prepared then this entree will be fine. I am willing to try this again. Chicken Nachos: two thumbs up. It was a pleasant surprise getting the guacamole on the side. (I do not recall seeing that on the menu but I could have overlooked it) All in all, I'm happy to have the M.E. in the area! It's a fantastic option for families or a fun date night/ hang out venue. They also offer birthday parties so I am sure we will be frequenters. As far as entertainment and activities for the children you probably can't find better. But for God's sake do NOT order food. I dropped 65. dollars for some of the most mediocre burgers and fries (meat texture was weird and tasted/felt like chuck in my mouth). My friends got a few appetizers that weren't any better. We had our 3 year olds birthday here and it couldn't have been a better experience. Ashley J was absolutely awesome throughout the whole party and was constantly offering to help make the day magical for our little girl. From the start of the event to the end, everything was kept on time and fluidly moved from bowling, to eatting and finally to the arcade. All the kids and their parents seem to have a great time and all their games and the lanes seem to be maintained well from what we could see. This was an exceptional experience and we will definitely be coming back here again as a family and for other possible parties in the future. read more

Why 4 stars? So much to review! So much to do! Wow! They do what they can, but not the place for you if you are worried about COVID. We started by bowling and eating. Bowling was very cute and everyone had a blast. We had spacing, we had room and then they added people to the lane with us. Felt like everyone was on top of each other by the last game. After that we did some arcade games which were fun but definitely not cheap. Ropes course and laser tag to close out. Ropes were just ok but laser tag was a blast and gave me the feels of a kid all over again. We will be back, just have to save up before we go again. read more

We booked my son's party there the host wasn't really as attentive as i would've liked. I did the set up really she assisted and then offered to go put in any drink orders for the adults which I feel like she just wanted to get away. The staff seem miserable. No one is helpful at all. Half the games don't work or majorly glitch. The virtual reality games aren't working either. We arrived at 10am and the ropes course was booked till 5pm. We decided to play arcade games but the machine kept stealing the tokens on the card and not allow us to play the games/function properly. I went to the front desk to ask if they could set up one of the virtual reality games and they told me I had to go to the rewards section and ask somebody to set it up. I went over to the rewards guy and he said Oh the front can help you and I said no the front told me to come back here, he then said he'll send somebody over. We waited over 15 minutes and nobody was sent over so we sent somebody else back to ask if anybody was coming, when he came back he said that the machine wasn't working. I asked why they didn't tell us that or send somebody over to tell us that and he didn't have an answer for me. I asked to speak to a manager and nobody came for a long time. I asked again to speak to a manager and then they sent somebody over. The manager did not apologize or have any explanation for any of my issues. She didn't even offer to add points to our card or any refund. We spent over $250 so this was a little absurd and upsetting. She then set up the virtual reality game, because apparently it is working but I think they were using it as an excuse so that they wouldn't have to send staff over to tend to it. Overall I think this place is horrible. The food was not great either. And the service definitely needs some work. read more

Took my son and two of his friends here for his birthday. We purchased the passes that gave them access to bowling, gravity ropes, and laser tag; only after purchasing did we find out it was a four hour wait for the ropes, three hour wait for bowling and an hour wait for laser tag. Our turn for bowling came up, we got our lane, and waited for someone to come by to take our food order...and waited...and waited; finally got up and placed the order with the hostess at the front. One hundred and fifty dollars later we have cold chicken fingers, soggy nachos and a burger that was nothing like the description (came as a bun, slab of meat, and a slice of bacon, no other condiments). So the kids start bowling and eating, next thing we know the bowling lane is shut down on us, right in the middle of a game "out of time" said the hostess. We dropped nearly five hundred dollars and came away never wanting to come back. So if you choose to go, be prepared for a completely manual reservation system and a horribly long wait and even worse food. read more

Main Event is open and ready for your family! Went in on a Sunday evening. Was greeted at the door by Thomas and shown how to get started. Lots of bright lights in the video game arena so if your sensitive beware. Many virtual reality games! They have sanitizer wipes for the game buttons and headsets. They will hand you the bowling ball you'd like to use and require masks anytime you are not sitting eating or drinking. Can't wait to try the Gravity Ropes! Brandy in the Main Bar was so helpful. Main Event is just OK for me. It's nothing new. Same concept of other game rooms! Nothing amazing or stands out as a new thing or really cool. The bar sucked at first. The bartender made us a Gin and Tonic using club soda trying to pass it off instead of letting us know she's out of Tonic. We average coming here about once a month or so. Love to play the games. It seems that in the last 3-4 months, the service level in the bar/restaurant area has gone way down hill. On our last visit, approx 2 weeks ago, we thought we would get some lunch first, do their card special with food deal, and then play. We normally sit in the bar area, and did so this time as well. After over ten minutes of sitting at a table, and being ignored, we decided to just play the games, and leave for a late lunch, which we did. If it was busy, I might understand but there were only three tables and maybe 4 people sitting at the bar in this whole section. I think we will just go for the games, and eat elsewhere from now on, as previous visit to this one was almost as bad when it came to service for food and drinks. read more

I usually don't write reviews but this girl deserves it. I had a server named Bella when my family came do dinner a few night ago and she was so so amazing. Probably one of the best servers Iv ever had when out with my family. We asked for a lot but she was happy to help with everything. She arrived quickly to not only our table but to all of her others as well. She always had a smile on her face. She laughed with us and took the time to get to know where we were from. She also recommended other restaurants for us to go to in the area. My sons birthday was coming up and she brought a candle over to us and sang with our family. She was so personable. Limited food menu, not very many games, all the games take 7.5 points to play which calculates over $1 per play, staff was hard to find if you needed help. We were sat at a dirty booth by the hostess who seemed to just stand at the entrance talking to their friend with their masks on their chin. I had to get their attention so they could seat us. Our server was great, but he had 10 tables while the one other server had 4 tables and the manager stood around ignoring the dirty, in-bussed tables while micromanaging various staff but never lifting a finger to help. Just in general, no one seemed on much of a rush to really serve us. The manager at the games area was courteous and helpful but hard to track down when he needed to sign for our prize worth over 2000 points. read more

We are a big family and like to come bowl for our birthday and family time..we have gone in the past with no issues... today we went to celebrate my special needs son 25th birthday...it was 15 of us... first they wouldn't let us bring a cake in, the service was terrible, food was cold, and the majority of the time our waitress was missing in action... we had to leave in the middle of the bowling game to go cut his cake out in the parking lot... that's after spending about $600 in food and bowling... the only thing I could get them to do was freeze our game while we were outside... it took a lot of effort to change shoes, get 15 people outside, get him in his wheelchair, and eat cake standing in the parking lot. We were then initially told that they were not going to give us a refund but they eventually decided to give us a refund and let us leave. We have traveled all over the world and have seen people wear much more revealing clothes than her shorts but i guess main event is okay with body shaming and trampling women's rights. Beware of the Bait and Switch. Showed up with a group of friends for there 7.99 all you can play special. When we went to buy them they told us they were sold out of the 7.99 options and the price was going to be about 10x that. Their advertisement says nothing of a limited daily supply or limited quantity. Classic bait and switch. That's not how you treat people. Jokes on them. I was planning a work event of about 75 people to go there and this was my way of scoping out the place before i placed my deposit with there event manager christa who i was all ready in communication with. Now everyone is asking me why we are not going to the location and I'm letting them know how they do business. For all i know i agree on a price and then right before they will up it. So you screwed me over, but really you screwed over 75 icu nurses who were all going go their for a fun night together to cut loose from the crappy year we have had dealing with covid. Okay yesterday was my first time at Main Event, we started the night out with laser tag , seems fun right... we entered the area for laser tag and was met my Yari.. Yari is extremely rude & unprofessional on a whole other level... I saw multiple kids under 10 years old yet she's telling people to shut up and listen to the video . And "I don't want to hear shit your guns aren't working you need to pay attention...she was yelling at everyone like a high school substitute teacher I'm definitely not a kid and did not like this at all .... The rules and regulations set forth by management are inconsistent. The servers tell you that you do not have to wear masks while bowling, then management comes by to tell you that you must. There are signs on every other seating are stating that the section is closed and that guests may not sit there due to Covid, which is great! However, that is not enforced. Patrons sit wherever they want while bowling. I'm not quite sure why the signs are there if they are going to be ignored by the staff. I asked four times to have a certain football game turned on (a game that was on a local station) but that never happened. We went to check out Main Event at last. We bought $50 in credits and we did an hour of bowling. It was nice and semi distanced. My 6 year old and my hubby both loved all the games. We got some food and some drinks while bowling which was pretty good. Only reason I gave it a 4 was that when we were done with bowling, we were ready to cash out and went to the host area but they said we had to check out with our server, for which we probably waited a good 15 or more minutes for. Wish checking out with the person up front was an option especially if server gets busy or has to go on a break. They were super apologetic and did their best and we weren't in a rush but just wish there was that option. Will be back for sure just not to bowl, not bc the server but our 6 year old wasn't into it as much. On an awesome note the lady working the front desk or area was awesome and made checking out our shoes and getting a lane right away a breeze. read more
