Egg and bacon sandwich on a plain bagel. They got the order wrong and half cut it.
    jessica g.

Came in on a weekday and it wasn't busy. Seemed bothered by us being there and had poor service. This was confirmed when I got home to see that my bagel didn't even have enough cream cheese on it. They Only put a little on one side and I had to use my own cream cheese from home to supplement what they didn't do. I got an egg sandwich for my friend and they half cut it. Poor service and poor product.

This is my new go to place for my morning bagel runs. I ordered their lox bagel on a jalapeno cheese bagel and it was absolutely delicious. It tasted fresh and was stuffed with a healthy amount of veggies. Presentation blew me away as I haven't seen such aesthetics in a minute. Vegetables tasted soooo fresh and bagel flavor was bold and scrumptious. I thought pricing was reasonable for the quality ingredients they used. I wish they had more customers as store was empty when I visited. I liked the large selection of drinks, sandwiches, etc that you could also order from their menu. The person working was very nice and definitely made my morning! She made my bagel exceptionally quick and I was out the door within minutes. There is plenty of seating inside if you're looking to dine in. It's also very clean and spacious! I will definitely be back as this has become a part of my new morning routine. I recommend adding this place to yours too! There is plenty of parking as they have their private parking lot. There sign was a little hidden to me but it's located to the right of starbucks.

    Tuna salad sandwich

Came here for lunch today and got the tuna salad sandwich on a sesame bagel. The bagel was nice and toasted and the sandwich itself tasted as expected for a tuna sandwich. The portion size was also pretty good. Would come here again!

Scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese on a multi-seed bagel

Looking for a quick bite to eat after spending some time down in the Bay with my boyfriend, we came across Main Street Bagels. Nothing fancy from the outside and nothing to rave about on the inside, Main Street Bagels serves up tasty, fresh bagels and fast. We each ordered a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese on a toasted bagel. I got the multi-seed bagel and my boyfriend got the jalapeño cheese (I think). The sandwiches were made fresh to order and absolutely worth the price. They offer a variety of lunch bagel sandwiches as well. Next time you're in the Los Altos area, give Main Street Bagels a try.

Great sandwich there, the Asian woman there is nice and respectful, most importantly knows how to make a mean turkey sandwich

"Chicken salad on Parmesan spinach bagel"

I had the Chicken Bagel with Parmesan Spinach Bagel...it was tasty...except mines fell apart ....so I had to use a fork to finish off the bagel... Bagel selection there is a variety from the signs...but when I went there they were actually out of a lot of the bagels.... The lady that works at the counter is pretty nice... One thing I would change is to not have someone cleaning the area when people are trying to eat...

After my half-year in the Bay Area, I frequently find myself craving a good NYC-style bagel, and, while Boichik Bagels hasn't _quite_ cracked the code, they've gotten pretty darn close. Their bagels are delightfully dense and slightly chewy, with a great snap from the crust. They're a little bit heavier than my average NYC bagel, but they've definitely mastered the NYC-style ginormous schmear of cream cheese and/or loaded breakfast sandwich. I've enjoyed their bagels in both sandwich form (huge fan of the whitefish salad with cucumbers and tomatoes for a more protein-rich / substantive meal) and with just a generous helping of cream cheese (of which they have quite a few flavors, including several vegan options). They don't have a _ton_ of bagel flavors, but they do have all the classics. Boichik also has a surprising love for pumpernickel; while the classic pumpernickel is delicious, I'm a huge fan of their pumpernickel caraway salt for a bit of extra herb flavor and savoriness. The staff is friendly and efficient. While there isn't any seating inside, there's a smattering of tables outside or you can always snag a seat elsewhere in Town & Country.

I've had a hard time finding a place that actually serves their bagels toasted slightly crispy on the outside and I've been wanting to try this kind prepared bagel so I finally did and I loved both items. The bagel is stuffed with their chili oil scallion cream cheese and then dipped in their "Bloom Butter" which is a honey garlic butter, and also topped with mozzarella. The honey is a subtle sweetness that really makes it more original. All of the flavors in the bagel are very complementary of each other and the cream cheese gives it the lovely rich creaminess of the dish. The chocoflan espresso latte is also very good, the thick chocoflan creme top is very good- if you're a fan of chocolate anything you'd like this a lot. The order was prepared very fast for such a busy establishment so I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order was done. It had a sweet and salty flavor to it. The flan latte was delicious and sweet. Service was friendly and helpful. There was no place to sit and enjoy your food so it's a to go place. So the only ambiance really comes from the customer service which was great during my visit. There's a very structured line inside so you know where to order and where to wait. There was a no filming inside of the staff without permission which was a first I've seen something like that. The parking lot is shared with other businesses so parking can be scarce when busy.

(they all taste the same). The difference here seems to be the quality ingredients that go into the bagel sandwiches. I recently ordered the tomato with the New York cream cheese (it's on the tangier side which I enjoy) and avocado. It was delicious and had the right amount of ingredients. The service, however, is extremely slow. I'm not sure why it takes over 15 minutes to get a bagel with some cream cheese and toppings (this is where I throw in New York does it better). The Santa Clara shop is minimalistic and utilitarian, with a large open bakery and racks of bagels everywhere. Despite the pizza bagels and $6 iced matcha lattes, it feels like a real bagel shop. Service is efficient, and you can place an order and be out the door in five minutes. Most importantly, the bagels have holes, crust and chew. The exterior is glossy and properly browned, the crumb is tight and substantial, and they're generous with the schmear. This is not a giant, pale, puffy roll covered with bagel seasoning. I asked for a well-done bagel and was offered one double-toasted. "No! When was it baked?" "Like two hours ago." "Then just cut it in half, my God." The drip coffee is proper drip coffee, too. No espresso-machine nonsense. The bad news is the price. Bagels are $3.25 each, with every twelfth bagel free, and chive cream cheese adds another $2.50. Very good, but at that price it would be an occasional single-bagel treat rather than a regular dozen-bagel order.
