Parking is plentiful. Staffs were quick and efficient. Indoor had a lot of seating and a vast menu. Bagel was good, nothing amazing. Soft and fresh. The eggs and such were definitely sitting. Could've been better. Got there in the wee bits of the morning when they opened..employees were obviously still sleepy (I don't blame them), kind, and pretty fast at getting my bagel out. The unfortunate thing is they didn't toast me another bagel and decided to just wrap this burnt bagel and hand it off until it was too late to figure out that my $10 lox and cream cheese bagel was definitely crispier than crisp. This place deserves better ratings. This is a great neighborhood bagel spot serving fluffy, well-baked, gourmet bagels. They have a variety of cream cheese flavors and sandwich options including my favorite Eggwich bagel. You can also get a mini-sized bagel or pastry for the kids. There are also a lot of drink options including fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee, iced or hot. The service is good and I'm always impressed by the way the employees memorize my order even when I'm asking for customizations. They work fast and I've never had my order come out wrong. While I like this bagel shop, I left feeling nickel and dimed. We came here and bought a dozen bagels. Bagels themselves were fine, however: --There is an extra charge if you want the bagels sliced --No freezer bags provided --It's a dozen bagels only; not a baker's dozen --4% "service charge" added at the register (this is waived if you pay with cash, but I didn't see this until too late) --In addition, a tip (15-25%) is the default/expected. I thought - wow, I left with a dozen bagels that I have to slice myself and provide my own freezer bags, but I'm still supposed to pay a 4% extra fee and leave a tip? As a result, the muffin topping and berry danishes all stuck to the bag, awesome. Seems like an insult to deliver these "treats" to the local VA hospital were they were intended. We had a lovely experience at Posh Bagel. The menu is extensive with breakfast and lunch choices. There are many drink choices too. They even do coffees and bobas! I ordered the eggwich and bacon on Asiago bagel for $6.99. Hubby ordered a chicken salad supreme on Asiago bagel for $9.99. Then we took the halves for breakfast and lunch. There were about for employees and all were truly busy working on food or cleaning. It was nice to see, plus they were all friendly and helpful. The store only has about 10 tables inside. It's nice and compact. This is our first visit to a Posh Bagel. The food was just as good as Le Boulanger across the street, but many $$ less. Double chocolate muffin is real good (always moist ). I have had the lox and cream cheese .... yum I have had plain bagel and cream cheese yum! I don't live close by anymore so when I make a stop I make sure to take stuff to go! Best of all I love supporting a small business so another plus in my book! Not endorsing west coast bagels or anything, but if you REALLY want bread in a toric shape, any of the Posh Bagel locations would be sufficient. They have a pretty big selection of flavours, and you can turn pretty much any of them into a breakfast sandwich or a regular sandwich. The eggs are microwaved like in most bagel places, so don't expect any gourmet gooiness. The good thing about a Posh Bagel is the environment - it's always quite nice to sit in comparing to most other bagel shops, and they've also got a bit more space as well. I had forgotten how good Posh is. Their bagels are fresh, servings are not huge, but decent. I had also forgotten that their menu can be a bit overwhelming. However, once you get their system down, know what you want, it gets easier!! By the way, they also serve "Boba drinks" here too! My roast beef Asiago bagel was good. It wasn't the best, but service was fantastic. They could add a little more meat to it, but having more tomatoes made up for the whole experience. Their cappuccino was not bad, a bit "too heavy foamed" for my taste, but the lady who made it for me, looked like she enjoyed making it, so it made my experience that much more memorable!! Place is clean, and had lots of tables and benches to have a nice meal. I'm sure they probably get busy as they are located in the heart of downtown Los Altos. I was never going to be on the side of the cronut. Croissants? I could take or leave them. Donuts? Blegh...I'm the only person I know who says this so there's probably something wrong with me. So I try one a couple of times a year to see if I've changed...plain, raised, glazed, cake, buttermilk, maple, filled, just the holes...nope. Also, there's this food mashup thing where two things are combined and given a portmanteau for a name. One must draw the line eventually. Frappuccino? Refreshing. Pizzarito? Dope. Sushirito? Hmmm. Cronut? Enough! But here I was, in a shop, buying a few donuts for people I work with. They like them so I bring them sometimes. They are into the basic stuff, so I took some plain janes one-by-one, then I spotted a donut that was a little taller than the others. Was it filled with something? Nope, it was a cronut. Do my people like these? Ok, throw one in there, let's see who goes for it...probably says something about them. Some deep rooted inability to decide, I don't know. The Posh Bagel is a nice shop. Clean, efficient, not too expensive. They put my half dozen assorted in a box and covered it with plastic. I hit the road. When I arrived at the office my donuts were well received. Where did these come from? Yummy, they're so good. The Posh Bagel was a hit. We were a couple of people short this particular day so there were extras. I was trying to just have an apple for lunch, and I did, but then I saw it, still there, taunting me...the cronut. Aw, man. Did it have to come to this? Why? It's outside my personal boundary, man, come on! Ok, let's do this. I took a bite. Interesting...like a fluffier donut or a heavier croissant, but I guess that's the point then, isn't it?
