Awesome food with prompt and courteous staff. I eat here roughly once a month. Their milkshakes, at just over $4, are thick and creamy.

It's a small spot tucked right in the middle of the block off 17th Street in Altoona. Don't let the location fool you--it's worth every bit of the drive. My wife, our three teens, and a longtime friend joined me for dinner. We started with the drunken mushrooms as an appetizer, and even though I'm not usually a big mushroom guy, these were absolutely phenomenal--packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the chef's special tomatoes and mozzarella in a balsamic vinaigrette, which was fresh and delicious. Everyone ordered different entrees, including a crab cake, encrusted chicken with vegetables, and shrimp Alfredo. Every single dish was outstanding. My crab cake was one of the best I've ever had--loaded with crab and seasoned just right. Nothing was heavy or overly sauced; it all tasted fresh and high-quality. To top it off, they brought out a dessert tray with multiple made-fresh options. My wife also had a freshly made cappuccino that she really enjoyed. The wait staff was attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly the whole night. Amigh even stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were having a great evening. If you're craving a really solid, high-quality Italian meal without any fuss, do yourself a favor and check out Finelli's Italian Villa. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Quickly seated and our waitress was then very attentive and food also came out timely. We shared a pizza and chicken parm with egg fettuccine noodles. They definitely cook their pasta al dente, it was a nice chew vs being soft and mushy. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Pizza was tasty with some of the best crust, light and airy. Nice inside with booths, tables and fun pizza decorations.

We ordered our food to go since we were traveling in our RV and needed to get back on the road. Their wood-fired pizza is spectacular. We ordered a Hawaiian with Pepperoni. Cooked perfectly, fresh toppings, cheese had good flavor, crust was soft on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside - perfection! I also ordered a small garden salad with house dressing and it was one of the best little salads I've had from a "pizza place". Lots of fresh veggies and the dressing was so good. Also took a quart of frozen Italian Wedding Soup for tomorrow's lunch. Can't wait to dive into that! We ordered at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. Our food came out quickly, hot and fresh. This is such a cute place with great food. I recommend. Oh and make sure you don't park across the street at the dispensary! A police officer rolled up as soon as we walked out to our RV sitting in that parking lot. We let them know we were heading out and there were no issues but I understand that cars are towed frequently.

This cozy, candlelit little spot is literally in a cellar--and it oozes charm. Pro tip: they're only open a few days a week, so call or shoot them a Facebook message to make sure you're on the list! Now the food... We started with the Drunken Mushrooms, and let me tell you, they were earthy, wine-kissed perfection. I skipped the garlic bread and just went full fork-to-fungus. No regrets. Next up: the homemade gnocchi with a meatball. Loved the meatball--meaty and not weighed down by breadcrumbs. The gnocchi was a little denser (which I like!), and it all just felt lovingly made. The Baked Haddock was fresh, light, and bathed in a lemon-wine sauce that made me want to go in for seconds... if I wasn't already full. But dessert called. We split the coconut cake, and it was gorgeous. Light, fluffy, with just a whisper of anise (which isn't my fave, but my mom was over the moon about it). This place feels like a secret passed from friend to friend--and now I'm passing it to you.
