Its located in a plaza so plenty if parkings are available. Inside is small and has few seatings. When we arrived it was not too busy so we placed an order at the counter. We ordered the rice bowl, sweet chili wings and lemonade drink. I got rice bowl with chicken, beef, beans, queso sauce, mac and cheese, bacon, avocado, onions, tomato, cucumber, picked onions, onion crips, cheese, garlic white sauce, aioli, and hot sauce. Flavor was all over the place and mac and cheese and bacon was probably unnecessary but I ordered it to try anyways. Besides that it did taste good. Hot sauce is very spicy so be aware my partner could not finish her bowl because it was too spicy. Wings were ok at best. Lemonade was tasty and it did have hint of spice in it. Service was good but the staff did have thick accent so it was difficult to understand what he was saying sometimes. Most of the stuff like utensil and napkins were self service. Overall the place was ok. Food was good especially the bowl with right toppings and combinations. Other stuff is pretty basic. Its very comparable to place that I go to near my house and I prefer that place better. I think its a good spot for locals that wants halal food.

My friend was not, and the man at the counter explained everything. We ordered Taziki as an app and then ordered lamb gyros. Both were delicious. The bread was perfect. The dip was perfect and the gyro was one of the best I ever had. I ordered a side of french fries and they were seasoned and also delicious. I strongly recommend anybody who likes Middle Eastern food to go there. I grew up on it. In fact, growing up in Lawrence, I worked in the number one Middle Eastern restaurant in the state at that time, called Bishops. So I know my Middle Eastern food. Oh yeah, and the prices were very reasonable. They are right off South Willow Street on Loring. Give them a try.

The portion size is variable. I've had it "generous" and I've had it "Whoa - that's a LOT of food". They're not covered with a standard tzatziki sauce - theirs is more feta forward. Super tasty. The fries vary as well. Sometimes a bit crunchier and sometimes, while still crunchy, more toward McD fries style. But it's just the outer surface that crunches. Inside it's smooth and creamy. Top drawer. You'll find that they tuck a few fries into the wrap. A nice touch. The only negative point is speed. I've always been there early - the first for lunch. But it still takes a fair bit of time to get the food. Arrive during the crowded time and you're definitely going to be waiting around. But ... worth it. They have a lot more on the menu and have an interesting alcohol free beer/soda that was new to me and a nice change from actual soda. Definitely worth a visit.

That's a heavy load to take on and he does a great job at it. Everything is super cheap here and taste great. If you're a student at Middlesex Community college like me. Let's face it, theres days when we're broke and need a place to grab a cheap quick lunch. This is definitely the spot. Pizza rolls: I love these things. He made them perfectly and you can tell he hand rolls them himself. And they're only a $1!! Double cheeseburger: BOMB! I'm so picky with burgers. I don't give a shit if it's messy looking, lets be real. If it tastes good, it's serving it's purpose. I'm super picky and customized it as I liked and he accommodated it. Thank you! Not many places do! Fries: perfectly crunchy. Not soft and soggy like most places. Maybe a little less seasoning. I know not a lot of people like spicy foods. But I enjoy it. Chicken Kabob Plate: my boyfriend and I split this because of how big it was. We ordered it with extra rice instead of the usual side of salad it comes with. The owner offered us either Indian or Spanish rice. We went with the Spanish and it tasted great, it even had vegetables in it. The chicken was nice and juicy with grilled peppers and onions. The rice and chicken had a nice kick to it. Not too spicy and just flavor. Chicken and Fries (not pictured): My boyfriend devoured this. The chicken is definitely not anything like crown fried or Jacqueline's chicken. The owner literally uses his own recipe. My boyfriend loved it and the chicken looked really fresh and juicy. He swallowed the thing before I even got a chance to take a picture of it lol. Please go visit guys! This little place has so much potential. It might seem a little stand off it by the looks of it but it's worth going in and trying it out The owner is so sweet, he even offered my boyfriend a free banana milkshake while he waited for the food to be done. Thanks Jimmy! Try it out! You won't regret it !

This Long Island NY based Halal chain has been expanding from the Tri State area into New England. There are also plenty of competing Halal food trucks in NYC. They offer platters, salads, gyros, cheese steak subs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, chicken nuggets & wings, baklava, and drinks in the cooler. The pricing seems fair. On my way back home, I stopped by Shah's Halal Food Lowell for takeout. I placed my online pickup order through DoorDash since I had credits. I ordered the Beef Chapli & Chips Platter ($11.99 plus tax) and Assorted Baklava ($3.49 plus tax). My online order was all set to go in about 13 minutes. The platter had soft seasoned ground beef kabobs, thin pakora chips, served over soft basmati rice and a mix green salad with creamy white sauce plus the optional hot sauces too. The platter had good savory and spicy flavors. The prepackaged assorted baklava was a good sweet treat for the after meal. I would definitely stop by again for more Halal takeout. I can already sense that Shah's could be expanding into NH, since the demand for Halal food is there. This Lowell branch is about 10 minutes to NH on Mammoth Road.
