There are plenty of toppings to choose from and everything tastes super fresh. It's like Qdoba/Chipotle style where you pick what sauces and toppings you want then they whip it all together for you. First bite was a flavor explosion and continued throughout both the dishes. Yum yum sauce was on point. Service was quick and friendly. It is a bit pricey but the fiancé treated dinner on this night ;) A friend suggested their nachos which we will have to try next time. The space is shared with Gita Pita so there is a dining area that is in between both restaurants. If you felt like trying two places at once you knock that out by grabbing something from Gita Pita while you wait for your food from Char. Definitely will be back again and I'm glad to finally cross Char off my list!

The restaurant it self was clean and what you would expect for the style of restaurant. I would say that the order process online is a tad confusing but people I talked to were helpful and mad everything as desired with the help. The appetizers like the egg rolls and crab Rangoon seemed a tad expensive for what we got but did taste good.

Although parking can be confusing for your first time going. I love their Bao appetizer. The Bento box is worth getting for the money, I think it gives the best variety of options, it's great! We were recommended this restaurant so we were excited to give it a go. Sadly, it was a bit of a miss for us. The gyoza, Rangoon, and ramen didn't really taste to either of us like anything special warranting the price. There's an Asian takeaway close to home that we prefer for these items and it's a bit cheaper. Lunch prices weren't great. I liked the sauce for the karaage chicken, but the chicken pieces weren't very good. My hubs actually had to go inside and get salt. I hate leaving negative reviews, I'm not sure if they were having a bad day? We were really hoping to have a special lunch, but ended up paying double what we would've elsewhere for food that was less tasty. I was really, really surprised. And disappointed. Even if we'd paid less, I prob still wouldn't return. The flavors just weren't flaving. Like, it was good, but not remarkable. The Rangoon were probably the best bites, but I can get the same or better quality elsewhere for half the price. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere.

Luckily, I was able to learn how to order thanks to the nice gentleman in front of me ordering whilst holding a conversation with me. Basically, the set up is a lot like Q-doba. You stand in line, choose your bowl size, choose your proteins and then toppings and sauce. I chose the regular bowl because it had 2 proteins and I just couldn't decide between spicy salmon and spicy tuna. My bowl was delicious! I was impressed with the amount of rice options, the quality of the poke, and the copious amounts of toppings and sauces to choose from. This place was fine for a lunch date where I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in 20+ years. Everything was delicious, though the milk tea with boba was a little too sweet for my taste. Overall, excellent lunch option, albeit a tad expensive for "fast food." My milk tea and regular poke bowl came up to over $22. Certainly worth it, but not a daily go to option on my budget. She immediately made us feel at home, was amazing with her menu descriptions and advice, and was present without being overly so. The restaurant is gorgeous, it's inside the Amway Grand Hotel. Carmen gave us plenty of great recommendations so we started off with brussel sprouts, calamari, and burrata. Hands down the brussel sprouts where everybody's favorite! We all had a different entree for dinner, and it was the first day of the new menu. I had the strip steak, it was supposed to be medium rare, it was definitely medium but so forgivable because of the excellent flavors. Others at the table tried the halibut, the salmon, the short rib, and the walleye fish and chips. Each meal was fully loved by it's recipient. We had a fantastic bottle of Caymus with our meal, plus one of my guests have a beautiful cocktail with a watermelon. I forgot what it's called. We didn't really want dessert, but creme brulee is my favorite and I wanted to taste the new passion fruit flavor. It wasn't my favorite, but that could also be because I'm a vanilla creme brulee devotee. The presentation was beautiful. Overall, I would 100% return to this location when back in the area and I will be asking for Carmen!

I would not have bothered with a reservation for that. We sat at one of the many dining tables. Service at the table was fine though. We did not do well ordering. Other than the Brussels sprouts. Everyone is doing them but they dud them great. Hot but not burnt to a crisp, moist, had flavor, some green color and the combination of everything worked. Unfortunately the snitzel was just a plain breaded cutlet. My mistake. I had had a cutlet recently that had a great German style gravy and somehow thought this would too. Nope. The German style potatoes were raw potatoes soaked in a brine of some sort. We really thought they were apples. Crunchy. The Walleye was ok. Not memorable. We should have gone with something more standard but we were there for a conference and they had most of the menu on their buffet. We wanted something different. If we go back we will just get the standard fare. Short rib or chicken. I didn't take pictures.
