I'd give zero stars if I could. We ordered black pepper chicken over rice and satay noodle. The black pepper sauce was reddish and drenched the white rice. The flavor was more similar to king pao chicken instead of black pepper. Chicken was pre fried and oil leaking into the rice. The satay noodle was also swimming in super salty sauce. We had to throw most of it away. I should have looked in Yelp before coming here. The food was so gross I didn't even take a pix before throwing into trash. Busy place, decent food, decent price. Their daily lunch specials are worth it. They were trying their best, but it was so busy that they didn't put in the chicken that I had paid extra for inside. By the time we discovered it, the kitchen was so swamped that we didn't want to ask them to redo the dish. We had already waited 20 minutes for one box of noodles. The person taking the orders had to help cook and the person handing out the food was just calling out names and giving boxes to whomever came to the window. I think ours must have been mixed up with someone else's because the noodles were spicy and I asked for mild. Tried this place with a Groupon; we ordered the beef pho (worst pho ever - wrong type of noodles, small portion size, broth sucked), pad thai (actually not bad, decent portion size, although my brother complained about the lack of and the tiny size of the shrimp) and the signature noodle dish. Spring rolls ok, not a fan of the dumplings being deep fried though. Service pretty efficient, but I went when it was quiet. Looks like it gets pretty busy around dinner time, so I'm not sure how bad the wait for your food can be at that time. Free wifi. Paid street parking out front. read more

I thought this place may have dropped in quality just because of the pandemic, but based on the reviews, it's allway been this terrible. If you want authentic asian noodles, DONT EXPECT THAT HERE! For starters, their menu made no sense and included a lot of things from a lot of unrelated asian foods like teriyaki, kung pao, etc. I dont think anyone in the kitchen was actually asian, but whatever we still gave it a chance. Once we got our food, we realized that we actually got wayy too much drinks that we had asked for, but free drinks for us i guess! We ordered the pad thai and the teriyaki, and frankly, they tasted way too similar, and we might as well have just ordered two of the same thing. To end it all off, our table ended up being so wobbly and that I had to hold it up with my foot! Overall their food was really salty, and extremely overpriced (i paid $32 for a teriyaki and spring rolls) and not good. Definetly stay away! Ok I really hate writing one star reviews but the previous reviews are indeed correct. The only reason I decided to come here was because the red Thai curry soup with noodles I loved at Brickworks was taken off the menu and put here because it's the same owner. (Was told that by waitstaff at Brickworks but I think the dish is just gone forever) First off I walk in and the two male employees are just chilling, they look at me and don't say a word because they are way too busy flirting with a girl that's not even a patron, must be their friend. Awesome start guys! I linger by the register, maybe that should be a sign that I'd like to order? Finally one of the guys comes and asks to take my order. $14 for the red Thai curry with tofu. Ok that's cheaper than what they used to charge for that at bricksworks. The cashier is the cook and first off that's gross. He handled my cash and that of the customers behind me and then I saw him not wash his hands put one glove on and with the ungloved hand touch the garnishes and put his dirty fingers in a finished dish. Use your gloved hand dude money is dirty! His counterpart starts another dish and mid cooking decided to bust out a mop and mop the floor area of the kitchen. Maybe you should have done that instead of flirting with that girl before I came in? He didn't change his gloves and continued to handle food. Gross gross gross. The grossest part was that the cashier who was trying to scoop out the noodles of a wok into a bowl, didn't want to burn his fingers on the tongs so he used a dirty wash rag to hold the tongs and that went into the food bowl multiple times with the food! Nasty! My red Thai curry didn't even taste like what it was supposed to be. It was flavorless, I couldn't taste any Thai curry, maybe this is supposed to be like a pad thai, so perhaps the cashier made the wrong dish and he heard my order wrong? But it wasn't tasting like pad thai either. It was like a bowl of spiced tasteless noodles. I also only got 3 tiny pieces of not fresh tofu and paid $3 extra for that. So $1 per tiny piece of old tofu????? I ate about four bites then threw it away and felt a little ill. Maybe it was because of what I saw? Maybe because it was not good. I notice the owners respond to reviews here and they desperately need to address what I just experienced. I visited on 7/2 at around 2:20pm. My recent dining experience at "Noodles" in Whistler, BC, left me with disappointment. Since I may be the 1st yelp review for this place, I am really reluctant to give it a bad one. But the pho I had was less than mediocre and my buddy couldn't finish his Pad Thai. We went to KFC after. They try but they really don't understand the noodles. Also, the cook, with his gloves on, handled everything; the food, dish rags, counter surfaces; he touched everything. Gloves are for the food only. Food tasting like a dish rag is not on the top of my list. And he picked up bits of stray vegetables & put them back in the vegi bins; source of ingredients for the next meal. read more

The satay noodles with chicken was absolutely delicious. Wish there was a bit more peanut butter flavor, but it was still tasty without. They give you a ton of noodles in one order. Enough to share between two people. If sharing, I'd recommend doubling up on the meat though. Do try this place out. Can't wait to go back. read more

The food was just OK. I ordered before reading the reviews and was scared that our food would be inedible, but it was fine. We ordered the Kung Pao with chicken - this needed more sauce and the chicken was minuscule if it even was present. We also ordered the Chile Beef which has visible beef (Yay!) and was tasty, though the rice was a bit dry/undercooked. The spring rolls were fine, similar to what you get from the frozen aisle in the grocery store. We polished off all of the food as we were ravenous from skiing. This place is NOT allergen friendly. I'm gluten and dairy intolerant and this past Saturday afternoon, I decided to go in and ask about my options. They brought out an allergen chart and I saw my options so we decided to try it out that night. I even told them again right before I ordered that night. After we ordered, we were trying to decide where to sit. By the corner window area or at the counters in front of the kitchen. We finally decided to sit in front of the kitchen and saw that they had already started to cook our dishes. I didn't see any issues until they started to prepare and cook dishes for the next customers, which was about 15min later. I was already almost done with my dish. So, there are 4 wok stations and it looks like each person mans two stations. Each person will use the same cooking utensils for their two wok stations. That's a red flag for allergen-free dishes already. Secondly, when I saw them pull out small mixing bowls for preparing and sizing up of ingredients (noodles, veggies, etc), I saw that they weren't clean. Basically, they're not washed between uses. Another red flag for allergen-free dishes. Thirdly, they don't properly wash the woks between uses and the cooking utensils don't get washed or rinsed at all. Aside from Cross-Contamination hell for allergen-free dishes, it's just not hygienic to not properly wash everything between uses. By the next morning, I was feeling inflammation in my joints, especially in my knees. We had to cancel a few plans we had for Sunday and even to today, which is now Tuesday, I'm still feeling pain in my hips and back. read more

I have had better is the best way to describe this place. I would have to say all the other reviews are pretty accurate. I thought it would be similar to Mongolian Grill, but I was mistaken. For the quality of the food, the price should be way cheaper. This is a fast food noodle place at best. I wanted to give it a shot because it was conveniently located across the street from where we were staying. We were both disappointed with the quality and taste of the noodles. All the reviews that I read are accurate and now I know from experience. If you want noodles maybe look for a different place. There are a lot of options in the Whistler Village, so keep your options open. Sometimes convenience is not always the best option. read more

Great food by hard working locals

Ordered chow mein and pad Thai and soup to sit outside and eat. They packed everything to go and after I explained that we have a table and we want to sit outside I would like a bowl and fork, they refused to service. After I saw they have bowls and forks I went and asked for a fork and bowl. Resistant to giving out bowls and forks. I don't get it it seems after they make the sale they figure you're a tourist and you're never coming back anyways so the hell with you. The manager/owner then said why do you need to be so aggressive. The answer is you don't give forks and bowls when I requested the first and second time. He finally conceded and gave me a bowl and a fork. Good grief. I don't need this from a noodle place after spending $45. I hope this serves as a message to the owner that you need to be more customer service oriented by the food was very mediocre the soup was good but the chow mein was very mediocre and dry read more

It's definitely a "meh, I've experienced better" place. I went in with three colleagues and ordered the Red Thai Curry (11$) with chicken (4$) with the "spicy" (medium spice). I wasn't impressed, sadly. It smelled really good at first, but when you mixed it together, the chicken is on the bottom, felt precooked and had dark marks on it from the wok, making it overcooked and tough. It didn't taste remotely like Red Curry sauce - I'd rather go to 21 Steps and get their mussels in the red curry (so good and flavourful). I also feel like they need to clean their woks between service - it makes the food taste burnt. My colleagues weren't impressed/satisfied either. Suffice to say, I hate 1/4, tossed the rest. I love noodles. This place does not. There was absolutely no where to eat dinner on a Tuesday night in Whistler so we had to get take out. After we ordered and paid then they told us we'd have to wait 35 minutes for our food. I guess they needed that long to overcook the noodles. The pad Thai was like mush and did not taste like pad Thai in the least. Very few shrimp,for extra $5 and they were so small. Portion size was average. Chow mien was like from the grocery store. Manage your expectations! This is GOOD quick noodles. The chowmein lunch special was tasty, the curry was pretty good, needed a bit more coconut milk. Spicy is spicy, perfect to the level ordered. Like all things Whistler, I'm sure staffing could have an impact on your experience. We hit lunch today and the staff was great. And like all things Whistler it isn't inexpensive, but reasonably priced for the village. The reason for 4 stars is that it's perfect to what you should expect, this isn't a full on Asian style noodle house, but it is good and quick! Will eat here again for sure, and looking forward to trying out more dishes. If they have one that's super stellar, I might even update to 5 stars. I'm thinking it might be the crispy beef given the preparations we observed. Finally the place is clean and super well organized. Not much eating space, but my inner OCD was impressed with the organization of the "kitchen". It seems like it's getting worsted every time. The Pad Thai taste nothing like a Pad Thai, way too much sauce and very very salty. Stopped here for a hot meal after a long ski day. The food tasted pretty good. I had the coconut curry and it tasted pretty good. The only disadvantage here was, they were renovating and there was no space to sit and eat. But the food tasted and smelled good. The prices were on the expensive side for sure since it was a fast food place though considering it being a touristy area. The spice level 2 was not spicy enough. OMG!!! This food was amazing. We got to enjoy 7 hours of powder and were starving. I ordered 6 noodle dishes and had it delivered. Not only was it fresh flavor was spot on and the portions were HUGE. I guess most other reviews already covered it but... pad thai - the most popular dish here was far too salty to be edible...I had to pour some water into my bowl just to dilute the sauce to be edible. Second time I went I tried to ask if the dish could be less salty and they replied no because the sauce is pre-made. Fair enough, it's probably just some off the shelf restaurant supply pad thai sauce. So I got the chow mein instead (just praying it was somewhere near authentic...) and the hot sauce that was put in just made it taste like a completely different dish .... again probably because the hot sauce is a generic sweet chilli sauce. But odd enough the chow mein had peanuts in it. If you're Chinese (like me) or not you'd just be baffled what in the world they're cooking here. In addition I add eggs for $3 and there was barely half an (scrambled) egg in my order... Anyhow these reviews are meaningless....because this place is packed during lunch time...likely because they're quick and cheap or people just don't know what authentic food is.
