Best cinnamon roll I have ever tasted. You have to get there early because they only make a certain number, and when they are gone you are out of luck. This place was one of my favorites while visiting Bozeman. I wished we had tried it earlier because we would have eaten there again if we hadn't been flying out that day. Everything our party ordered was good. Good: biscuits were so good, service, our waitress, coffee, and of course the cinnamon rolls Bad: they ran out of cinnamon rolls before I could order one to go. Cute place! We had to park on the street and walk to this location. The door is down a small hallway with a few other businesses so could be confusing at first. We were seated immediately but it was a Monday morning. There were still a few people there so not completely dead. Our waitress was very friendly and quick. Kept our water/coffee filled. Very diner style and laid back which is always nice for a breakfast spot. I got the biscuit with my breakfast which I was excited to try since I love a good biscuit. I got bacon, hash browns, and scrambled eggs. I asked for cheese on them! Good food. And lots of it. I couldn't finish it all so my boyfriend was more than happy to help. He had French toast and finished the whole thing. We left nothing on our plates. I like crispy bacon and they definitely cooked it through. The biscuit was great. Crunchy outside and soft inside. It was crowded when I went, but the turnaround was very fast, so don't be discouraged by the amount of people there. The service was terrific, the portions were perfect for me (a little on the large size, allowing me to skip lunch). I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Meh. That about sums it up. I had the bobcat Benedict (chicken fried steak Benedict) and found it very bland. The biscuits and gravy were both lacking flavor. The chicken fried steak had a crisp and decently flavorful crust. My husband had the Bridger scramble and we also found his dish very bland as well. There was a mix up about the coffee service, as you can order espresso drinks from the coffee shop next door. It also states on the chalkboard that the restaurant serves their espresso drinks. When I ordered their drip coffee, the server told me that is from the coffee shop next door and that they only had the regular house coffee. So my husband went next door for a mocha and ran into our server who was surprised to see him there and said we could have ordered these drinks through him. With how definitively he cut us off when we tried to order from the coffee shop menu (pointing to it in my hand as well) I though he understood. Either way. Apparently you can get better coffee next door but may have to push your server to get it. I would recommend getting the coffee next door because the house coffee was pretty terrible. Our server wasn't outright rude but definitely not friendly and our food took almost 45 minutes to come out. All in all, my review is mostly based on the food and some on their service. I just found the dishes to be okay and nothing special. read more

I think I died and went to heart attack heaven. Not even mad about it. This diner is the exact description of nostalgic. It's a bit of a hole in the wall and if you have a large group there can be quite the wait. Since we were a table of two we were able to still in right at 12:30. Their dining room isn't small but it can fill up quickly. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Highlights - hash browns are fresh and local from Montana - bison sausage is fresh and local. I didn't personally try it by my friend did and she loves it. - gravy is heavy but oh so delicious! The perfect amount of southern comfort. - country fried chicken is the bomb!! Crispy but not soggy. Great texture. Lows - DF friends beware. Like typical diners they are heavy with dairy but I didn't ask for anything to be DF. Not a knock against them. Interesting... - chocolate milk is made from mixing Hershey's chocolate syrup and milk Overall next time I'm in town I'm making sure that we drop by here. read more

First, think local breakfast place. This isn't like all the new trendy places that are opening up. The atmosphere is more of a hometown diner but down the hallway of a downtown building. Fast, friendly service. Pay at the counter when you are ready to go. Bison, bacon and biscuits scramble with hashbrowns is everything you'd expect. It's smothered in a white gravy. The biscuits are scratch made which makes all the difference. The hashbrowns were incredibly crispy, not greasy. Biscuits and gravy were good, I like my gravy with a bit more pepper but that was easily fixed. We ordered a side biscuit to try it without all the other "stuff" we had in our dishes. You can tell the biscuits are fresh. They offer butter and honey if you'd like, adding honey made it taste almost like a dessert. read more

Our favorite breakfast diner in Bozeman. Great selection, a bit pricey (but not unusual for Main Street Bozeman), great service and my wife can get a cappuccino. Their basic breakfast is consistently very good. Their hashbrowns are the best I have had anywhere. Don't miss their Mon-Fri $5.00 biscuits and gravy with 2 Eggs.
