I don't much to say except, this is the best Corndog in the country! Don't miss this food cart…read morelocated in the Rimrock Mall parking lot in Billings, MT. I went with the mini, which is still a large corn dog, but next time I'll go with the larger one. The breading was flavorful, with a hint of sweetness from the honey, and fried to a dark golden brown. The hot dog itself was excellent. I will say the service was great here as well. I went with the traditional Ketchup and Mustard, but apparently next time I've been told I need to try it with honey. Keep this cart in business and go get yourself a corndog! You'll be glad you did.

Full disclaimer: I don't like corndogs. Or rather, hot dogs. Cornbread? oh yeah! gimme gimme…read moregimme. With that, I don't know what possessed me to visit this food truck. Call it lucidity gone awry. The black and yellow markings -- like a bumble bee - caught me in that weak moment. We tried three items from Corndog's basic menu: The Mini, the small corndog, the deep fried cheese bomb, and the fried babybel cheese pop. Yep. That's right. Everything your doctor warns you against eating on a regular basis. The food came out quickly and in keeping with the bumble-bee theme, you can have honey drizzled on everything. No extra charge for it. With the first bite, I noticed two things: First, the taste of the cornbread coating. I cannot believe that a corndog has coating that good. Forget all that school lunch or frozen food aisle blecch. Second, the coating was nearly as thick as the hot dog. They don't skimp on that. The hot dog almost got lost in that coating. The ratio of cornbread to hotdog worked for me. The cheese bomb and babybel cheese pop were a mix. One was okay; and one so-so. Cheese and cornbread -- that's a combination I can fully support. I was looking forward to tasting it. The cheese bomb wasn't bad. It's a piece of cheese, like string cheese, available in pepperjack, cheddar or mozzarella, and then coated. We picked the cheddar, but in hindsight, the pepperjack might be the way to go for bringing in a pop of flavor. Overall, the bomb was okay, but didn't have the same wow factor as the corndog. Oh, and it was the same size as the mini corndog, so pay attention when they hand you the food or you'll end up with a big bite of surprise. The person I was sharing with thought I was crazy and that the bomb was the best thing ever. So, make of that what you will. The babybel cheese pop was the least successful for me. Again, I didn't think it had much flavor and the cheese on this one got lost in the batter. Kids would love it, I think, because it is kid-size. And -- kids. Overall, The Corndog is an interesting change of pace for food trucks in the area. This is their first location in Montana. It was probably a three-and-half star stop, but the corndog hangup is mine and I can't ding them for that. Besides, they were really, really, nice people.

The waitress and other staff are very professional and provided the right amount of attention. Plenty of things to look at while waiting for your food, including a huge blockbuster video sign. Running around Billings, Montana and everyone swears the best burgers in town is The Burger Dive…read more They have appeared in multiple competitions and won numerous trophies. The decor is a bit circus like with scant furnishings and a crazy red checked floor. However, one look at the menu and you realize they they are innovative with menu design and constantly pushing the limits of unique food combinations. Today, on the sign board, they had a blueberry BBQ sauce. The servers are busy and customer service at times wavers. We ordered the "Best of Bash" burger with blackening seasoning, bacon, goat cheese, onion ring, arugula, garlic-basil mayo and a splash of sirachi aoili. The burger was dense and somewhat dry, while the sirachi was a small dollop it was tasted in only one bite. The beer battered onion rings were heavy and sweet. The cajun fries were good. The burger, fries and rings are decent, but not remarkable. I felt The Burger Dive may thrive in competitions, while serving the masses is more of a challenge. Rather than dwelling on my assessment, please give The Burger Dive a chance and rate them on your own. It is hard to besmudged a business when they have a large and loyal following. I wish The Burger Dive continued success.

This was our first visit to The Yogurt Shop in Laurel, MT. We made our first visit here on a word…read moreof mouth recommendation. It was recently shared with us that they serve more then yogurt. They serve homemade soups, chili, they have a salad bar that offers 17 toppings, grilled cheese, hot dogs, create your own wraps, nachos, shakes, malts and yogurt with a variety of toppings. Street parking was pretty full today but we were lucky enough to get the last close one around the corner. Upon arrival we were welcomed. We looked at the menu on the board to the left upon arrival so see what we wanted to try. There is also a menu on the right side on the wall to the left of the salad bar. My mother-in-law Kay and I ordered our food. Today's soup special was chicken and dumpling soup and chili. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a 12 oz. cup of chicken and dumpling soup. Kay had a grilled cheese sandwich and we both had a bottle each of lemonade. She asked if we would like to open a tab and we went with it. While we waited for our food, I signed up for their text messages by texting LAUREL to 51660. We ate and then got two tasting cups to help us decide which yogurt we wanted. Kay tried their vanilla custard and I tried the candy cane custard and then we moved on to selecting our toppings before we settled our tab. We were able to save 10% off of our meals today for signing up for their text messages and she started a frequent yogurt card where once you buy 9 cups, you get 5 oz. of yogurt free. They offer two different sizes of soup - 12 oz. and 16 oz. bowls. They have bottled beverages. They have a party room available for rent. They have restrooms, a Fast and Furious arcade game, board games, lots of tables and a little sitting area. They offer a great, casual atmosphere. While we were getting ready to head out, the owner thanked us for coming in and visiting. The food was good and the service was great! The owner was great and so were her mom and dad! Another reason why I love finding the hidden gems and supporting local businesses.

I got a double bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, Mayo and mushrooms. Regular fries. Large drink. First - parking was sufficient and space is clean. And busy! Lots of people. And the staff were super friendly. When I told them it was my first time, they didn't rush me and they spent time explaining the menu to me! Five stars to staff and environment. Food: The burger was fantastic and hit the spot! It was wrapped in foil which kept it hot and melted the cheese. So good! The veggies were fresh. And I really loved that the mushrooms were added on at no charge! Fries were a bit disappointing but only because I have high standards. I love skinny fries that are crunchy. These were thicker fries and were not crunchy. They were still okay but not my favorite. I will give them extra credit for how generous they were with the fries. They gave me the regular size fries AND gave me extra at the bottom of my bag. That's great customer service. I also noticed that they featured the farm where they got their potatoes for the day or week from on the wall near the order line. I appreciate that they support local! Drinks - they have two large drink stations that allow you to mix and match multiple flavors. I love having so many options. Overall - great burger. Okay fries. Friendly staff. I would come back for the burger!
