It's really cool. And cozy. We sat at a high-top table away from the bar. We usually sit at bars, but that's ok. Got there late. TV's are everywhere. Not a problem finding a tv with our game on it. Our server was perfection. I think her name was Kelly but can't swear to it. Very attentive and very nice. Good looking, woman, too. The food was good. I ordered the wings. I don't like wing drumettes, especially the really large ones. I prefer the wing tips. Wing drumettes are supposed to be small. The whole idea is that you eat many of them like you would a snack or appetizer, not one or two really big ones where you get full, like a KFC wing. But the wing tips were normal sized. And they were flavored well and cooked properly. We also ordered the nachos. While I appreciate the thought, no thanks. Sports bar nachos should be sports-ish. I mean, melted cheddar or nacho cheese smothering yellow corn chips and chili or ground beef, and beans and jalapenos. The nachos at Junkyard are boutique, like something women would eat at The Henry or Viggilucci's. The Junkyard has a sort of rough and tough motif, you know, steampunk/biker/mechanic/car enthusiast. The nachos should reflect that theme. Other than that, we will definitely be back. OH!..one more nuance. The back corner tv's are blocked by this huge "Junkyard" sign over the pool table. Last night I ordered the steak bowl and it had almost no flavor. It also came with a ton of large broccoli stems that were undercooked and woody. For $25, it just wasn't worth it.
