We needed a new fun lunch spot and this was it! Wifey and I quickly ordered a nice glass of wine from a terrific wine list. Diana was right back with it and the fun began. It's a beautiful spot with an open kitchen and bar with a huge patio space. Plenty of easy parking and right next to Trader Joe's. Big plus. I had the chicken panini with waffle fries (no chick fil a sauce) but still great. Deb had the sausage/pepper sandwich with a side salad. Loved it. I saw a big pizza oven so maybe we can get it next. The food was generally tasty, although significantly overpriced. A $25 ravioli that only had 4 raviolis? That's just wild. The person was still hungry after that small serving. We came to Tommy V's for the first time last night and had the perfect meal. We live close to Bressi Ranch so this was very convenient. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was very lovely. The food was so good. We had a margarita pizza. I had the blonde ale. They had enough beers on tap to choose from as well as others and a wine list as well as cocktail menu. We were greeted by Sonny our waiter who always has great suggestions and chooses a wonderful wine for those that are on the fence. We ordered the filet mignon and the Seabass. Place was great with even better food! Cool little spot in bressi behind the main shopping area. Large bar, dining and outdoor seating areas. We started with a burrata and prosciutto bruschetta which was fantastic. Can't go wrong with bread meat and cheese. I got gnocchi with Italian sausage for my entree and added some of the burrata to give it that extra pop. Everything was super choice. Will definitely be going back to try some more of the menu. Pizza was eh not as amazing as I've read. It was soggy in the middle, I had the Tres Carne. I chose a seat outside after the person who greeted me told me pick a spot. I was handed a menu a told they would be out with water no one came for about 20 min. Outdoor seating was nice with a view of the park. I was offered a green salad as a gesture for my wait. Not sure if I'd give it another try based on the soggy pizza. read more

We eat here a lot but mostly for dinner. The food and service is fantastic. Today we tried lunch and the salad selection is wonderful. My husband and I both had a wonderful salad and really enjoyed it a lot. He had the Salmon and I had the Chicken. The bread that came along with the meal was warm and tasty as well. This place is clean, I like the atmosphere, however, that's about it. I think it's overpriced for what you get and the food was just barely ok. They claim their Caesar salad has "homemade croutons ". We've been going to Tommy V's for years. Sadly we have found that it has been declining consistently. Prices go up and quality comes down. We decided to give it another try. The wait staff was very friendly, and service was great, so I'll give credit where credit is due I ordered a side salad with salmon. The size of the salmon fillet was small and tasteless. I ate it and didn't say anything until the bill came. The price of the small house salad with this tiny piece of fish was $28!! I questioned the waiter and he said the salmon (for my $12 house salad) was an up charge of $16. Come on Tommy V's! That's ridiculous for what was about a 4oz piece of tasteless farm raised salmon. Again, giving credit to the nice waiter who completely understood and took it off the bill. Thank you very much. Still I think our T. V. days are done. read more

3/21/26 We met another couple for Happy Hour and had a dinner reservation at 6PM . Drinks and appetizers were fine. We were seated and our order was taken in a timely fashion. However, our food NEVER came. We were not offered bread or any table service to ask if we needed anything including additional drinks. We had to flag a busboy after an extremely long wait to check with the server who was no where to be seen. We will also mention that the room was not full . The busboy actually said he noticed we were sitting a very long time. When the server appeared with a "helper" they were carrying 4 "hot" dinner plates. She said she was busy with 4 other tables. The plates might have been hot but the food was not! The food left much to be desired. For example, the ravioli dish was the size of an appetizer with nothing else and the chicken parm was hard, thin and overcooked. The four of us will not be returning. read more

Went here with two other couples for a birthday celebration. We were there on a Sunday evening and it was not overly crowded, had good service and the food was excellent. The drinks were very good. We all ordered different cocktails and they were made very professionally and on the mark. Later, we ordered a bottle of wine which they were out of, but they switched with another wine. Our waiter recommended as just as good in taste and quality and it was. For the birthday, they brought a nice portion size slice of tiramisu that we could all share. When the server asked how it is, I told him and he said I'm the only one who has ever complained and he said he could see that I already ate 3 or 4 of the little clams. He seemed annoyed with me but said he'll fix it. I heard him sort of yell to the chef to put more salt on it. I shouted, no, please, no more salt. I have to admit, I was pretty annoyed, and he could tell and he didn't like it and things just didn't go well. After a disappointing first experience where the waiter completely forgot about us and we had to keep getting up to ask for water, utensils, and other basics, I contacted management and was offered a gift card. It's frustrating when service is this inattentive, especially when you're paying premium prices. The atmosphere is loud and more suited for a casual, family-style meal rather than a romantic evening. If you're looking for a quieter, more intimate setting, this definitely isn't the place. As for the food, the prices are outrageous for what you get. $30 for 4 lobster ravioli, $21 for a small appetizer (4 pieces of bread with brie, apples, and honey)--it's just not worth it. My chicken pasta had chunks of dark, fatty chicken that tasted like it came from a local Chinese restaurant--not what I expected at all. I was hoping for tender white chicken breast, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Overall, I think this will be my last visit. We came here Christmas Eve with reservations. Being one of the only open places, it was packed. Service was excellent, we made sure to tip higher recognizing their commitment coming on the night before a holiday, making our families lives a little easier. My husband could not speak highly enough about his seared Ahi tuna, which was served on a bed of seasoned (with fabulous gravy), mashed potatoes and a side of fresh vegetables. I've been here twice. Once we sat at the high tops another time in the dining area. Both areas have different menus so it depends on what you are looking for. Since Tommy V's opened I've had countless business lunches there - both formal and special occasion related (baby showers, birthdays etc). In addition I found the patio to be a perfect place to interview employment candidates after about 130 PM when the lunch crowd clears. On the personal enjoyment side, my husband and I had dinner there last night prior to viewing the wonderfully Halloween-decorated Bressi homes. Manny was the server and he was great. My company hosted a holiday dinner here. The waiters were very attentive and on top of everyone's order. We had a table of 20 so it was a bit chaotic at times. But the servers handled everything seamlessly. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and drinks. They have a wide selection of beer and wine. Parking can be a pain if you go later in the evening but there were spots out front around 4 on a weekday. The food was good. We had the fritto misto, handcrafted meatballs, garlic bread, arancini, and the long stem artichokes for appetizers. The scampi and asparagus risotto was a little underwhelming. It was more of a side dish than an entree. It wasn't good enough for it to stand on its own. It needed something more substantial to be an entree.
