Came here based off of a recommendation. I walked up to do my to go order and they allowed me to sit at a table outside while I eat my to go order food so I did not have to eat in my car which was nice. Very friendly staff very accommodating even though they are limited on what they can do. I feel bad for small places like this. They're really friendly and the food is great. I usually get the Main Street sandwich and it's really good. I get a side of potato salad and a drink also. I love the crunchy pickles and the three layers of bread they use to make the sandwich. The reason why I didn't give a five star is because I've noticed, along with others that have joined me, when lunch time comes around it tends to get full of a certain group of folks who stare at you like you're from space. I avoid eating there when it's crowded or whenever I can, but I would love this restaurant if people would welcome different races and generations other than their own to sit at a table. read more

What a great place! Good service and tasty food. The portions are generous. I enjoyed an omelet, hash browns, biscuits, and coffee. Everything was delicious. They have created good outdoor seating arrangements during Covid. The only downside is the storefront next door with racist and xenophobic conservative propaganda prominently placed. Mainstreet is a staple for me and my husband. The service was great when they were serving indoors and they continue to be quick and delicious when we order for pickup. Recently it seems like they've altered their hours so we missed them the other day but I understand times are tough. Before COVID shut everything down, I came here after a long drive. I love to explore the little towns surrounding Fresno, and I'd never taken the time to explore this little downtown stretch of Reedley. Main Street is exactly what you'd expect for the area - good classic American food. I had the BLT with fries. The sandwich was really good on a whole grain wheat with just the right amount of mayo and crispy bacon. Fries were crispy and hot. I had the berry pie for dessert and brought some slices home. Visited on a Saturday morning. I had a"lite" breakfast option ... which was the perfect portion of food for me ! My companion tried the biscuits & gravy and German Sausage links. She said that the links had a smoked flavor and the biscuits & gravy were the best she's had (other than in the South), though she felt that the "biscuits" were more like buns / rolls. She also enjoyed that the hash browns were perfectly crispy on the outside but still cooked, yet soft enough inside (and not too oily, as well. Extremely poor customer service and they messed up my salmon fillet ( ripped the top parts skin off ) One waiter criticized the amount of food I was going to eat . I ordered a salmon meal and pecan pie , and I only ate the pecan pie and a salad and asked for the rest in a box because I had to go , she immediately said I'm to skinny and I should eat the rest , then she asked me if I used to be fat . Yes I used to be fat that's why I'm not trying to eat 2000 calories in one sitting u idiot !! HOW DARE YOU ASK ME THAT OR CRITICIZE THE AMOUNT OF FOOD I'M EATING . Oh and she was touching me in a way I didn't want her to, what a creep . The other waitress was being rude because I was eating alone and I had to go get her after she didn't come back .
