I saw Mai end of January 2026 to have a major change done...transition to going white. After consulting with her in advance, she cut my hair as short as I could wear it. Had not worn my hair this short since grade school!! Mai did a masterful job with the cut. WOW. What started as a day full of regret and frustration quite quickly turned into the most satisfying haircut experience I've had on the island. I was afraid that everything might shut down because of the recent surge in covid cases. I called on a Tuesday to make an appointment for that Friday. She had space and I was happy. There are a few free parking spaces in the back that are shared with the other businesses in that building. I was lucky to get one. There's hand sanitizer at the entrance, she wears a mask, and customers have to wear masks. I told her that I wanted to get rid of the dead ends but keep as much length as possible, get some face-framing layers, and some side-sweeping bangs. She cut the basic length and layers dry, then washed my hair with a massage, and finished up the details afterwards. My cut looks great! I plan to come back in the future. read more
