Ceasar salad with crab meat added.

Looked at a few eateries on the path along the shop and picked CMFM. Hostess was polite, waitstaff was courteous, bus boys were busy making sure the tables stayed cleaned. We ate Al fresco and what a great weather for it. Inside the restaurant is cute as well and very clean. FYI they are BOYB but have bottles of their alcohol for purchase. Definitely going back to try other items in their menu.

Lobster roll with fries on gluten free bun

Have been here multiple times and had great experiences every time. Good service, and options for seating inside or out. Gets super busy during the summer, but no problems getting a table in the off season. They don't make it super clear, but they do have gluten free buns so the ability to get a lobster roll is lovely. Servers here are pretty knowledgeable about cross contamination, but if that's a concern for you be sure to ask. The outside space is definitely accessible to those using mobility equipment, and while technically there are no stairs to enter inside, the space is pretty tight.

    Fried calamari

I'll start with a positive. The waitress was sweet and attentive. My daughter and I ordered the fried calamari. This was a total disgrace for $19.00. There was literally a handful and tiny scraps. It looked as if the bottom of the bag was emptied into the fryer. When I brought it up to the manager there was no apology or offer to redo the order. I was just asked if I'd like anything else. Of course I didn't expect that, so I didn't want anything. My daughter's crab cakes were very good. My fish sandwich was quite skimpy. Needless to say we won't return there.

The fish market was a pleasant surprise, from the food to their service, it was a great experience. We went there on a Saturday night around 7pm and we were seated right away, they do have indoor and patio seating. We ordered the coconut shrimp and mini crab cakes from the appetizers and the lobster roll and seafood pasta, all the food was very tasty, the mini crab cakes were the highlight. We didn't really get to see the inside since we chose to sit on the patio but it does have a nice ambiance to sit on the patio and watch people passing by! We were just visiting cape May so we did end up taking ordering some food to go for the next day since we could not come back! Food was still tasty the next day.

Tuna sandwich was delicious and very filling ordered with a side of sweet potato fries (comes with potato chips which we ditched) - husband was pleased with his lobster roll although he said it could have had just a bit more lobster in it. Service was really good.

First off I've eaten here many times before. The inside is very casual. Our server was very pleasant and nice . We order the French Onion and Lentil Soups as appetizers. I had a Carprese Salad and my girlfriend had The Seafood Scampi Pasta!. All of the food was delicious and served very quickly. I'd highly recommend this place when in Cape May

Cape May Fish Market offers a casual seafood experience in a great location. While the broiled platter fell short on flavor and isn't something I'd order again, the fried fish and fries were a win--crispy, well-cooked, and satisfying. Service was friendly and accommodating; they had no issue with us keeping a stroller outside, which was appreciated since it wasn't too crowded. A decent spot overall

Whole steamed lobster whole lobster. Would have been good if the lobster and butter would have been hot!

Whole steamed lobster whole lobster. Would have been good if the lobster and butter would have been hot! Literally cool butter and lobster, not even warm! Terrible. Service so slow. They brought the wrong food to me first and I saw other tables get steaming hot whole lobster right after mine was delivered. Update: I asked the table to me on the way out, and they said that theirs wasn't hot but it was warm. Water was kind but service so slow. I would try a different place!

Nothing was delicious, everything was average, with prices way too expensive to match the quality of food. The blackened seafood platter that we got was not fresh - the rice was soggy, the scallops mushy. The oysters Rockefeller was extremely sweet - I have never had sweet oysters Rockefeller. Definitely a place catered to tourists, you can tell in the absolute lack of flavor and freshness. Our waitress was fine.

We were seated on the rooftop and had a great view from our table. Immediately we were greeted and brought water and had our drink order taken. Our waitress explained the menu and we decided on all Tapas. The street corn is something I could eat for breakfast lunch and dinner every day so 10/10. The crab dip was delicious as well but not super strong crabby taste which made it about a 7/10 for me. I'm not a huge mushroom fan but I did have one and I enjoyed it a lot! The crispy calamari was a 10/10 as well and the chipotle aioli that came with it was the perfect pairing. The Gambas Al Alijo was also delicious! Perfect amount of seasoning. We also got the flank steak which was very good but we did ask for it to be cooked medium and it came out more well done than anything but still delicious! We ended the night with a nice little birthday surprise tart, complimentary. A very cute touch! Overall we loved the place and I'll definitely be visiting again and recommending!

Great place for a date night or a group dinner. Located on the 8th floor of the Cambria hotel. Park in the red cement marked Spain Wine Bar spaces; blue is for the hotel guests. Delicious food with fun cocktails and wines. Here is what we had over three dinners: - Cheese and Charcuterie Board with Drunken Goat cheese (mild flavor) and Jamon Serrano. It came with olives, apricot jam, and mixed nuts. We ran out of crackers and cheese quickly, so I would recommend getting two cheeses and extra bread. - Roasted Beet Salad - lots of cold beet chunks and sprinkled with Valdeon cheese (white cheese similar to feta), Great way start the visit - Short Rib Bocadillo - really loved this - it was short ribs on a lobster roll (no lobster) and the onions really made the flavors pop - Coffee Rubbed Pork Ribs - not spicy - Mmm mmm good! - Flank Steak with green chimichurri - tender and delicious. It did have tiny ribbons of fat on some of the edges. - Patatas Bravas - good size of roasted potatoes, tomato sauce with a drizzle of garlic aioli - Jamon Serrano Croquettes (ham and cheese) - Lollipop chicken - really good fried chicken legs with lots of meat at the top - Pan Seared Blackened tuna with corn avocado salad and micro cilantro. This was tasty but not a lot of tuna for the price - Pistachio gelato - light pistachio flavor - Olive OIl Cake with vanilla bean ice cream - big enough to share. We enjoyed it and it was different. You don't taste the olive oil. It was a denser golden cake. - Flourless chocolate cake covered in a white anglaise sauce and sprinkled with cocoa powder We had the red sangria which was good and came with a dendrobium orchid. We noticed the amount seemed low, about 1/3 full, in the glass but the table next to use had more like 1/2 full in the glass. I tried the Tiramisu White Russian drink for a dessert, and I really did not love it but just drank it to finish it.

When we got there, several people were waiting for tables but we were able to walk on by since we had the res. When we sat down we learned it was restaurant week! At first we thought it would be too much food - but the menu sounded too good so our arms were twisted haha. I got the lobster toast - this was my fave thing I ate at the Blue Hen. My bf got the carpaccio (also delish). For our main course I got the branzino. It was topped w fennel and carrot and it tasted so good w the fish. My bf got the fried chicken and he enjoyed it. We both loved our desserts. I got the strawberry - yum!! And he got the blueberry bread pudding. I had several tastes of his and I wasn't sure which dessert I liked more. Def need to come back!! I can't remember which drinks we had but I do remember that we liked them. I had only been to the Blue Hen for happy hour previously but now I know I need to be back soon!

After many a weekend spent and many a restaurant tried we welcomed new eats at The Blue Hen. This menu is intriguing- small, tight but inventive- we were so excited to eat here! Was wonderful in having a table ready when we arrived for at-will, no reserve seating at about 7pm. Quiet corner. Promptly greeted by our server. She was gracious, so nice, and helpful our whole dining time. We ordered readily, in Mom's overwhelming hunger, lolol. Ordered the Lobster Toast and the Yellow Tomato Gazpacho, as starters. Amazingly accommodating on our order of this gorgeous gazpacho. We were given 2 bowls to split this tomato beauty. A few spoons of smooth & sweet, acidic, flavorful, gripping. Could have ordered more! The Lobster Toast- Accompanied by a concoction of radish, sesame, bitter-sweet....stunning bites in this salad. Unfamiliar but pronounced in the combination. Well done. The lobster- Absent. Wished for an open faced variety. Or at least a dish that advocates for lobster. Charge more. Bigger brioche. Pronounce those beautiful lobster bites in presentation. The lobster as served, was not the star. Ok, a moment for cocktails though- Whoa. Killer kill. The Church Girl Martini. Blessed be in evil, haha This Girl was too tasty in being that strong. So good in flavor, unbeknownst combos. A definite Watch Yourself and watch out for!! Entrees.....well when ordering was told the Sea Bream was out- disappointed on that. The entree menu is small, so should keep available. And when we entered the restaurant it was busier after we sat....so why out of a primary fish already?? So decided ahead- Mom had the Burger and I had the Crab Cake Sandwich. The burger- smashed, but still big patties. A perfect medium. Good overall. The bacon jam was an ask on the side. The bacons were really spicy lardons and were delicious. My crab cake sandwich. Hmmm. You are a sandwich. For the pricing, it's not there. Ate the Lumps, but the rest of the sandwich should I say was in the Dumps? Nothing to be said of standout. Would recommend putting this crab cake as a stand alone entree with accompaniment. Forget the bun. Overall food gets a 3.75. Drinks, environment and service a 4. The Blue Hen is not Spent. But also is not the Top Chicken.
