You want really, really, really, really good lobster rolls???? Here it is! Prior to visiting Cape May, I did a little research on the food scene and Quincy's immediately came up. At first, we were targeting their Washington Street Mall location, but we realized it wasn't their original spot as the original location was on Beach Ave, just a few blocks away. With Washington Street Mall being so busy and packed, we figured we'd give the original location a try instead since it was away from the buzz of the Mall area. This location was right across from the Cape May convention center, but the strip that the shop was part of was pretty dingy. The tables and chairs outside were all very dirty so make sure to give them a good wipe down first. When we arrived for an early dinner at 5PM on the Friday before Labor Day, we were surprised to see quite a few families sitting at the outdoor tables. How could that be???? It was ONLY 5PM! Luckily, they all finished quickly and we were able to snag a table outside. But there were other tables belonging to other establishments there that were free though. This location of Quincy's was as no frills as it got. It was slightly bigger than a hole in the wall with no indoor seating what so ever. All of the tables and seats were outside and there were only a few. After taking a gander at the menu, we ordered 1 Classic Roll, 1 Connecticut Roll, 1 Lobster Mac and Cheese and 1 Lobster Bisque. Let me just say, I haven't had a lobster roll in a longgggg time, but it was well worth the wait and more. All of the lobster in the rolls were so fresh and delicious. I easily could have eaten 3 of them by myself, but, unfortunately I only had 1. The Lobster Bisque and Lobster Mac & Cheese were very good too, but the Lobster rolls definitely had me wanting much, much more. One thing to note when dining outside is BEWARE OF THE SEAGULLS. Yes, they love lobster too (who or what doesn't????) and they will occasionally fly and land in the vicinity looking for food, so just keep a close eye on your food. As for parking, unfortunately, it's all street parking as Quincy's doesn't have a lot like so many of the Beach Ave establishments. However, if you decide to walk away from the Mall area, Quincy's is an excellent option.

Haven't eaten here in a while and I recently enjoyed lunch, yes with my dog. We ordered and ate outside at the tables. Lobster was so juicy and sweet. Yes I shared some with my fur baby too.

Delicious lobster roll with a great ratio of bread to meat. For context, my boyfriend had never had a lobster roll he liked until this one and I'm so happy he did! I was happy as a clam with it. We also got the lobster bisque - of the 3 lobster bisques we had in the area, we ranked it 2/3 (all were good). It was very tasty with a high sherry flavor. Overall the lobster roll is a must, but a better lobster bisque is at the Lobster House. Friendly, prompt service and the seating is all outdoor.

Really good lobster roll place in Cape May! It seems like it's been around for a long time. The lobster tasted fresh and they give you a lot of it on the lobster roll. It definitely hits the spot if you're in the mood for a lobster roll!

Great lobster rolls at a decent price! No frills ambiance right in the beach. Tried both hot and cold with a slight preference for cold. Give them a try.

I completely understand why the line for Quincy's is out of the door when you're passing by. The los get rolls are stacked, flavorful, and delicious. The price also can't be beat. If you're in the area, definitely stop by to try one of their many roll options that comes with the perfect plain bag of lays chips. I promise you won't be disappointed !

Went here for lunch with my family and was excited to try the place out. As soon as we walked in, we said hello how are you with a smile and were returned with a straight face of the cashier who just looked at us and ignored us. We asked questions about what is good to eat and we were ignored while being dully stared 99% of the time. Started off with poor service to say the least. It was a simple space, just for ordering on the go. The food was very disappointing and was nothing special. I ordered the shrimp roll and there was plastic left on top of my roll. Out of 5 people, not a single one of us really enjoyed our food or would return back for more. The food looked nice and the colors presented it well but it also was not worth the price. $18 for a lobster roll thats not good and a $11 shrimp roll that wasn't anything special. The food was not filling, small portions. While it's location is convenient and near the beach, I would take the extra 5 minutes to reach a different spot with better food nearby.

My family and I loved this place! Such delicious and abundant lobster rolls. Served with chips and pickles. Delish! Also got the crab salad which was delicious and fresh as well.

Ohh, ohh, ohh how I wanted to love this place. It got great reviews.... but the lobster rolls were TINY ... I even ordered the 50% More for $6 more.... so I expected a couple of good bites. Maybe it was the fact that it cost so much that I was not satisfied. It's in the main busy area on Washington Mall. The outdoor seating wasn't bad. The order taker was very nice.

Chains can always be hit or miss, but this one is a hit. We ordered the crab roll, and the price could not be beat. The crab meat tasted very fresh, and there was a generous amount of it. As far as service and ambiance, the employee who served us was very friendly, and the location is perfectly situated near all of the shops, which makes for an easy grab and go between stores.

    Lobster roll

1000% recommend. Everything about the lobster roll was perfection. The buttery roll and lump jumbo lobster pieces were the perfect combination. Service was quick and the outdoor seating was quaint.

It was quite chilly while we visited Cape May so we really wanted to sit inside. First, the positive: The place is clean and the staff is nice. The Lobster Roll is delicious and the Shrimp Cesar Salad tasted good, but this is also where it goes bad. It is a huge salad and only had 3 shrimp. The cost of the salad is the same as the Lobster Roll. There is no way a salad should cost 26.99 and only have 3 shrimp. A pound of shrimp market value is approximately $25.99 depending on size & location. When it was expressed to our server, she quoted market price increases and that we could order more shrimp at an upcharge. If market price for shrimp is that bad, take it off the menu or offer alternatives like adding chicken that won't result in an upcharge or advise your customers upon ordering that they'd only get 3 shrimp. Hubs probably would have ordered something else. It's Cape May Fish Market so they should be upfront about their seafood. I didn't really care for the fact that we asked about it and were brushed off. While we'll definitely return to Cape May, we may not return here. .

Reservations are a must and don't forget to BYOB. The vibes are quaint with a very small indoor dining room and an outdoor patio that's a bit larger. I'm really glad we requested a table outside, because the patio was so nice on a warm summer evening. What we ate -- started things off with mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad (on special) and kale cesar. All produce is sourced locally from Beach Plum Farm and both dishes were fab. For our main we shared crab cakes and scallops. Both were so fresh and came with a large portion. Every entree comes with brown rice and house cabbage slaw. Reviews will mention that this is pretty plain, but with the fresh seafood and dipping sauces it's really the perfect accompaniment. The scallops came with a delicious sweet ginger sauce and the crab cakes came with a creamy lemony tartar sauce. The decor is fun and kitschy and the inflatable whale in the bathroom tub made me laugh. Don't forget to grab a chocolate bar at the Louisa's chocolate shop which is adjacent to the restaurant. I'll be thinking about this meal for a while.

So we went early (no problem being seated around 5:30 or so, but it did seem full an hour later) and were we ever rewarded. Everything was simply perfect, including Vicki, our veteran and down to earth waiter. When we are unsure of things, she provided expert guidance with kindness and wisdom. The mussels appetizer are an experience not to be missed - save the bread for lapping up its saucy juice. My wife loved the pork chop - its huge and she took half home for lunch. I ordered the harvest salad with candied walnuts. I have no idea what candied walnuts are, so I wish the waiter asked if I had any allergies because they can SOMETIMES contain cinnamon in it and I am allergic to cinnamon. When the salad came out I started to eat the salad and noticed my throat starting to feel funny. I didn't mix the salad well so I just ate the arugula with the sauce and the chicken. Half way through I noticed there were walnuts and I took a bite of it and my throat immediately started to swell and I can feel my face and tongue getting itchy. Thank god I have my allergy medications on me, but what if the next person this happens to doesn't... We immediately told the server about my cinnamon allergy and the waiter looked at me like I was joking because I ate half of it and then asked me "So you're done with that?" and I said, "Yes I can't eat it anymore, I'm allergic to it and it's contaminated with everything else. I felt my throat starting to close up, but I am okay because I have my allergy medicine. " He asked if I wanted anything else and I said no just a hot tea to help with inflammation. I appreciate that the server was trying to help us out, but he still came back with the bill and said the owner is still going to charge me because it says candied walnuts on the menu, implying that it's my fault...I really expected this place to have better service, but looking at past reviews I can see how this place has overpriced underrated food and terrible service. They don't care about their customers and certainly just focused on making money. Hopefully after today they include that their candied walnuts have cinnamon in it! Or at the very least ask the customers if they have any allergies beforehand
