Cute little shop right across the street from the beach and attracts a lot of attention. Customer service is quick, easy and nice enough. Lobster rolls here are cheap compared to ones in other states especially CA. $19 per roll is pretty good. Each roll is pretty small you can say like average size pretty much just like everywhere else with this economy (all lobster rolls shrunk after Covid). They are generous with the chunks of lobster though and it's so juicy and fresh! I also ordered the lobster bisque and that was great too. Bisque had lots of big chunks of lobster and it was creamy how I like it. The fries were big slices of fries and also fresh and yummy. The only thing I can say I wasn't happy about was no Tabasco no hot sauce of any kind! What???!!! I love my Tabasco with all my seafood and it was a disappointment to not be able to enjoy my seafood the way I always do. read more

You want really, really, really, really good lobster rolls???? Here it is! Prior to visiting Cape May, I did a little research on the food scene and Quincy's immediately came up. At first, we were targeting their Washington Street Mall location, but we realized it wasn't their original spot as the original location was on Beach Ave, just a few blocks away. With Washington Street Mall being so busy and packed, we figured we'd give the original location a try instead since it was away from the buzz of the Mall area. This location was right across from the Cape May convention center, but the strip that the shop was part of was pretty dingy. The tables and chairs outside were all very dirty so make sure to give them a good wipe down first. When we arrived for an early dinner at 5PM on the Friday before Labor Day, we were surprised to see quite a few families sitting at the outdoor tables. How could that be???? It was ONLY 5PM! Luckily, they all finished quickly and we were able to snag a table outside. But there were other tables belonging to other establishments there that were free though. This location of Quincy's was as no frills as it got. It was slightly bigger than a hole in the wall with no indoor seating what so ever. All of the tables and seats were outside and there were only a few. After taking a gander at the menu, we ordered 1 Classic Roll, 1 Connecticut Roll, 1 Lobster Mac and Cheese and 1 Lobster Bisque. Let me just say, I haven't had a lobster roll in a longgggg time, but it was well worth the wait and more. All of the lobster in the rolls were so fresh and delicious. I easily could have eaten 3 of them by myself, but, unfortunately I only had 1. The Lobster Bisque and Lobster Mac & Cheese were very good too, but the Lobster rolls definitely had me wanting much, much more. One thing to note when dining outside is BEWARE OF THE SEAGULLS. Yes, they love lobster too (who or what doesn't????) and they will occasionally fly and land in the vicinity looking for food, so just keep a close eye on your food. As for parking, unfortunately, it's all street parking as Quincy's doesn't have a lot like so many of the Beach Ave establishments. However, if you decide to walk away from the Mall area, Quincy's is an excellent option. read more

Delicious lobster roll with a great ratio of bread to meat. For context, my boyfriend had never had a lobster roll he liked until this one and I'm so happy he did! I was happy as a clam with it. We also got the lobster bisque - of the 3 lobster bisques we had in the area, we ranked it 2/3 (all were good). It was very tasty with a high sherry flavor. Overall the lobster roll is a must, but a better lobster bisque is at the Lobster House. Friendly, prompt service and the seating is all outdoor. read more

Was it the best lobster roll I've ever had? No but it was very tasty. Small but yummy. I got the "classic", which was served cold and warm butter. I meant to order "Lobster Salad" which is made with mayo, which I thought was "classic". Still yummy and I would recommend. Not pricey for lobster roll but appropriately pricing for the size of for lobster roll. Someone hungry could eat two. I still recommend. Good service. read more

I completely understand why the line for Quincy's is out of the door when you're passing by. The los get rolls are stacked, flavorful, and delicious. The price also can't be beat. Went here for lunch with my family and was excited to try the place out. As soon as we walked in, we said hello how are you with a smile and were returned with a straight face of the cashier who just looked at us and ignored us. We asked questions about what is good to eat and we were ignored while being dully stared 99% of the time. Started off with poor service to say the least. It was a simple space, just for ordering on the go. The food was very disappointing and was nothing special. I ordered the shrimp roll and there was plastic left on top of my roll. Out of 5 people, not a single one of us really enjoyed our food or would return back for more. The food looked nice and the colors presented it well but it also was not worth the price. $18 for a lobster roll thats not good and a $11 shrimp roll that wasn't anything special. The food was not filling, small portions. While it's location is convenient and near the beach, I would take the extra 5 minutes to reach a different spot with better food nearby. read more

This was my first visit to Cape May, and it was my birthday. We had a different dinner planned but had to return home earlier than expected, so stopped here for a bite before leaving, which we hoped would be fun and tasty. I ordered the crab roll and was disappointed. The crab "lumps" were minced and the portion small. It tasted forgettable. The fries were coated and overdone. I would recommend skipping the crab roll and the fries. We certainly won't repeat this experience. read more

Lobster rolls is what Quincy's is all about and that's all they do. Cold, warm, with butter, plain or with mayonnaise they are all just perfect! Note that this is a take-out stand, but easy to enjoy at one of the several sidewalk tables just outside. It's a perfect lunch stop! read more

Ohh, ohh, ohh how I wanted to love this place. It got great reviews.... but the lobster rolls were TINY ... I even ordered the 50% More for $6 more.... so I expected a couple of good bites. Maybe it was the fact that it cost so much that I was not satisfied. It's in the main busy area on Washington Mall. The outdoor seating wasn't bad. The order taker was very nice. read more

Chains can always be hit or miss, but this one is a hit. We ordered the crab roll, and the price could not be beat. The crab meat tasted very fresh, and there was a generous amount of it. As far as service and ambiance, the employee who served us was very friendly, and the location is perfectly situated near all of the shops, which makes for an easy grab and go between stores. read more

Finally made it to The Original location and had the classic Lobster Roll. Very Fresh, beautifully chilled with just the right amount of mayo on a soft bun for under $20 can't go wrong. Not super impressed with the experience. No one eating here on a Sunday at noon should have been an indication. Service was pretty blah and the roll itself was mainly claw meat. Roll is tiny for just under $20. If you've ever enjoyed a roll in Maine, I would suggest you pass. Cole slaw was so bland too. Best thing about the meal was the frozen chicken fingers and thick cut fries. Bummer. read more

Overrated for the price. Lobster bisque had very little lobster....mostly cream. Lobster roll was ok but bread was clearly sitting out for hours and almost stale. Very little butter and cold. Delaneys has a way better sandwich. read more

I can't believe I walked by this hole in the wall so many times and never tried a lobster roll here before today. Quincy's Original Beach Ave is in the middle of a small row of vendors across the street from the convention center on Beach Ave, Cape May; The atmosphere was buzzing with tourists shopping and beachgoers. They served my roll in a paper bag with a bag of chips. This Lobster Roll was not cheap; it cost $18.75 + Tax, $19.99 total. I thought it a bit pricey; when I opened it up, a seagull swooped down and helped himself to a big chunk of fresh lobster meat! I was shocked, not knowing why I would be with all the signs that warned to "watch your food from Seagulls" half my sandwich was gone! Luckily, they were nice enough to make a new one; now, for the best part: the first bite, my taste buds started to dance!! All the flavors of a fresh lobster tail at a fine dining restaurant were there. It's a shame I only got one roll; I could have eaten five. It was delicious and a pleasant surprise from a little hole in the wall! Try if you're ever in beautiful Cape May, NJ. I highly recommend it! The rolls were delicious, but definitely smaller than you'd expect. However, the serving of lobster if you added extra was generous. Definitely small rolls though. Similar to hotdog rolls. It also is a shame they close so early in the off season but to be expected. Food was easy to order online and kept at appropriate temps. read more

Food amazing. Well worth it and I would definitely eat here again. However the service was so awful. The cashier had no idea they had a lobster grilled cheese, she kept saying lobster Mac and cheese. They also didn't know how to apply a coupon so we had to wait for them to call someone. We are outside which has very limited seating but nice if you get the chance to grab a table. read more

Fresh lobster in a buttered roll with chips for $15.99 and if you go during happy hour it's only $13.99 What a deal, and perfect for smaller folks. Larger people will need 2 rolls. The 4 roll deal $49.99 for 2 people is probably the way to go if you are really hungry. FRESH!!! The lobsta was so very fresh! This little lobster roll shop pushes out some very good lobster rolls. My friend and I passed one other lobster roll shop before we came upon Quincy's and I guess we came to the right place. QUESTION: Why are lobster rolls always so small and leaving you wanting more? My husband and I went down to Cape May on a whim for a date night. Everything down in the town center was booked but this little gem was open and serving amazing sandwiches. Everything looked great but we settle on 2 sandwiches. The crab roll and the lobster roll. Both were fresh, light and delicious. My favorite was the crab roll because the horseradish sauce was awesome. The sauce was not heavy and let the crab shine through. The lobster roll had lemon butter and again not over powering. There were no fillers. The bun is a split top brioche. Fries were surprisingly good too. We will be back. read more

For all the ratings that said amazing things I was a little disappointed but happy that this place was open when everything else was closed. My friend and I decided to take a day trip to Cape May and we decided to get crab rolls and lobster rolls and a couple other menu choices I have to say the lobster roll and the crab rolls were not what I expected it was like a sad excuse for a seafood salad and the mayonnaise was not even mixed up I guess when you visit Cape May you have a certain caliber that comes to mind. I don't mind paying more expensive prices as long as it's a decent meal but this barely hold us over it was like a really sad excuse for a sandwich and also served on a hotdog bun I'm not quite sure if I will ever revisit but for two people spending $40 on lunch, Left us starving and disappointed. Sigh, lobster prices with beach bum accommodations--except this was at an outside mall. Kind of felt ripped off. read more

We tried the Classic with extra lobster meat for $5 more. It was definitely worth it. The rolls were jam packed with fresh lobster meat. They use very very little mayo which was great. They give you two dill pickle slices and a wedge of lemon with each roll. We also got some lobster mac n cheese which was decent. They sprinkle Old Bay on top. We love Old Bay so that was a bonus. The pasta wasn't overdone which was nice. We liked the food here. They were open until 8pm on Sat. read more

Arrived right before the doors opened and YUM! The lobster rolls were fresh, and as a purist I appreciated being allowed to to skip the Mayo and butter. The fries were crispy and all in all it was a perfect simple lunch. They have a few outdoor seats with umbrellas. read more

Overall good lobster rolls. We ordered 2. One of them with extra lobster, the other just regular portion lobster roll. Although we paid about $6-$7 for extra lobster, it didn't seem like they added more because it had the same portion as the regular one. There wasn't a line, but took about 20 mins or so to get my order. Still recommend! read more

This is a no frills place to get a deliciously prepared lobster roll that tastes fresh! I've been here several times and it is never any drama. Lobster rolls served with Cape Cod chips and a smile. I like that there are lots of other options on the menu that are non seafood based thus making them good for kiddos. read more

Welcome to Quincy's, a place where you can take a few minutes out of your day to relax, see a friendly face, and enjoy delicious lobster rolls after walking off the beach. In 2012 a group of friends were discussing the great times they've had at different beach spots during family summer vacations. There is the Jersey shore and all those familiar great times; but other special memories like the beauty and laid back lifestyle of a New England vacation kept coming up... especially enjoying those mouthwatering lobster rolls. This group of friends wanted to recreate and share those good times, especially the food. A few years later that dream became a reality when our first store opened in Berwyn, PA. Quincy's was excited to be on the Maine Line in 2013 and is just as excited in 2015 for the opening of our second location in Cape May, NJ. Quincy's...bringing a little taste of New England to PA and NJ.

It was quite chilly while we visited Cape May so we really wanted to sit inside. First, the positive: The place is clean and the staff is nice. The Lobster Roll is delicious and the Shrimp Cesar Salad tasted good, but this is also where it goes bad. It is a huge salad and only had 3 shrimp. The cost of the salad is the same as the Lobster Roll. There is no way a salad should cost 26.99 and only have 3 shrimp. A pound of shrimp market value is approximately $25.99 depending on size & location. When it was expressed to our server, she quoted market price increases and that we could order more shrimp at an upcharge. If market price for shrimp is that bad, take it off the menu or offer alternatives like adding chicken that won't result in an upcharge or advise your customers upon ordering that they'd only get 3 shrimp. Hubs probably would have ordered something else. It's Cape May Fish Market so they should be upfront about their seafood. I didn't really care for the fact that we asked about it and were brushed off. While we'll definitely return to Cape May, we may not return here. .
