I LOVE the cold sandwiches. They are big enough that I usually only eat half and the green salad (love that dressing!). They're fast and friendly and never disappoint

I actually found this place by accident. I was planning to grab a coffee, but when I walked in I realized a new restaurant had taken over the space. I'm glad it did. The display case was full of fresh pastries and baked goods that looked incredible, but I was in the mood for something more filling, so I ordered the #12 Poulet Pesto. It was absolutely delicious. The bread was toasted perfectly, the chicken was tender, and the pesto and creamy sauce brought everything together. They also served it with a side of what I think was a garlic aioli, and it was so good I ended up dipping every bite into it. The two employees working were genuinely friendly and attentive. I believe one of them may have been the owner, and you could tell they really cared about the customer experience. The menu has a great variety of sandwiches, pastries, and other items, so there's plenty I still want to try. This was an unexpected find, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Started off with a normal butter croissant, and i'll say it's really great! Buttery flavor, soft on the inside, and flaky/crispy on the outside. The chocolate croissant was also great, with similar textures. The service was efficient and the prices were reasonable. This bakery is located inside the Redlands Public Market; an indoor food hall but the bakery is located on the outer edge in a quieter area. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking available across the railroad tracks.

Food was delicious! The service was good and the recommendations were spot on. The seating is limited but the tables are wide enough to eat comfortably. Will return.

We couldn't help ourselves, but to continue our food adventure with more desserts at Redlands Public Market (RPM) on Memorial Weekend 2026. Maison La Jolie (MLJ) was our #7 stop succeeding after #1 Shrimp Corner, #2 Yugo Shokunin, #3 Beyond Biryani, #4 Hen & Heifer, #5 Take Ur Seat Lite, and #6 Tsoko Cafe. MLJ was only a couple weeks old at RPM per the nice gentleman (I'm assuming he's the pastry chef) behind the glass of beautifully display of French pastries. They also sell sandwiches and drinks. We took a quick glance at all the pastries before deciding. I saw the Parisian Vanilla Flan for $8 and my youngest daughter saw the Mille Feuille for $9. Yes, prices were on the higher end, but it's a whole lot cheaper than flying to France to buy the French pastries. They came to us in Redlands so why not treat ourselves. Young lady who took our order was pleasant and nice. Vanilla flan was a huge slice. Texture was a bit denser than expected. I didn't find it sweet at all really. What I love most about it was the flaky crust... it was super yummy! Mille Feuille in French means "thousand leaves". It came with layers of crisp golden flaky puff pastry and rich pastry cream in between them. It had the perfect sweetness. An excellent choice! My daughter gave it a thumbs up. She does have an eye for sweets. For the French pastry connoisseur, MLJ is meant for you. Drop on by and support this new biz. We'll stop by again during our next RPM visit. Tips: Free parking garage at 101 W Stuart Ave. Walk to the market within a few minutes. Cross with the train tracks with care. Shared dining setting is available at food hall.

Came on opening day and I was their first customer! The owners were so nice and you can tell we're very proud of the quality of their pastries. You can tell right away with their croissants that they use real French butter and flour. The texture is buttery and flaky. There pralines are such a treat! It has a great crunchy texture without sticking to your teeth. I can probably polish a bag by myself. I also sampled their French Madelines. The texture and sweetness is just right. Honestly there were so many other items in the case I want to try so I'll be back soon!

Tastes mass produced, nothing fresh about these pastries...

This place is very misleading. Pastries were not fresh, one of the ones i got was spoiled. It literally tastes like they bought their pastries at Restaurant Depot and slapped a french sticker on them. Not at all authentic. So disappointing because Redlands needs a good french bakery!!

This is their regular menu apart from their bakery selection

This establishment is run by two of the nicest people you will ever meet who were more than happy to give us suggestions which were delicious. I managed to snag the last of the croissants, a raspberry chocolate pastry and a pear tart. Do not sleep on the pear tart it is delicious and a great recommendation. This is an adorable café, located on the corner of the public market in Redlands where there are now quite a few wonderful eateries. Closest to Paris this side of California. I also love that this bakery is open after two, which most are not come early for the best selections.

Amazing family owned Boulangerie . We've been visiting since day one, and never been disappointed. La Monaco is my favorite sandwich, but you can't go wrong with the Jambon Beurre or Poulet Pesto either. The Patisserie offerings have continued to grow with time, the latest treat was the Rocher. Perfect. Fresh baguette is available to accompany any dinner plans you may have , but most often we are draw to the pain au chocolat , tarts, tropiziene, and any other sweet treats. Service is fast. the ambiance is lively since it is located at the Redlands Public Market. If you're still reading this, you're late, they often sell out so get up and go now!

At first crunch you get the vanilla cream. Second comes the airy lemon orange cake. Ended the caramel crunch in the bottom.

I came in looking for a cake for a celebration of life. Automatically the eyes go to the familiar cakes. This beauty pulled me. I had to try. Did not disappoint. The vanilla pastry cream, airy orange cake, & crunch at the bottom. Yum! I picked up a few other baking accessories. The chef there is very nice. The pan holders I got make you feel like cooking with wine. Everything is very well pulled together to show a fun, light, coffee.

    Fruit tart $9.

First time here. Picked up the last two fruit tarts. Good fruits, not overly sweet. Wish the crust was crispy but it could be because I didn't get to eat it till the following day. I'm excited to try more items.

Really impressed with the food and service here. We came in when they first opened and they had some challenges with their POS system, but that's to be expected with anything new. They've got it all dialed in and the food is fantastic. I'm looking forward to returning, trying more on the menu and sitting on the patio outside. Great addition to Redlands!

Burnt rock hard fries. That's not potato skin at the tips, that's actually singed fries.
    Samantha S.

I'm so torn. The croissants are delicious. And we tried a few different pasties. All good. However, the food was seriously lacking. We got the ham and butter baguette and fries. The ham was flavorless and the baguette had almost no butter on it, we even opened it up to check if it was even on there because we couldn't taste it at all. There was a very small smear of butter. Now I'm not sure if this is a mistake or this is how they make this, but for 20 dollars it was honestly a terrible sandwich. The oddest part was the burnt French fries that came with it. These were clearly not fried, but either toasted in an oven or an air fryer. They were burnt, hard as can be and super dry with zero salt. Again, this is our first time here, so whether there were issues in the kitchen or this is the standard for the food I just don't know. But I do know based on looks alone whoever packaged this definitely should have known better than to give a customer fries like this. I will say that the garlic aioli they sent with the fries was insanely good and since the fries were inedible we put it on the sandwich and it actually helped make the sandwich edible. 5 stars for the pastry, but honestly 1 star for the food. Met in the middle and gave it an overall 3. We'll try one more time and if this was a one off I'll update my review.

Eclairs, Paris-Brest, Mille-fuille, lemon meringue tart, fruit tart, yummy chocolate hazelnut dessert.

I came in around 3 PM on a weekday, and they didn't have many flavors left, so I bought all three: berries & cream, pumpkin cream, and red velvet. It wasn't a hot day, and my friend's place was only about 5 minutes away. But when I opened the box, the cupcakes were way too wet and moist. I picked one up for a picture, and the coating actually stuck to my fingers. The strawberry also tasted like it wasn't very fresh, almost like it had been sitting out for too long. They tasted okay, not bad, but nothing really stood out. Unfortunately, the overly wet, chewy texture and the not-so-fresh strawberry really ruined the experience for me. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

The vibes are top tier & thanks Nas to you and the rest of the staff for being so great all of the time. This establishment has some truly amazing souls that work there. Every time I've been and it's a lot, the service has been wonderful. I used to be a baker for many years and I'm hardly impressed with places because I either taste the cheap lack of quality ingredients or the lack of fresh ones. This place has neither. The staff is friendly and there wasn't too bad of a line on a rainy morning. For paying nearly $17 for 2 donuts I'd expect to at least want to finish them, but I was completely disappointed with these. Chocolate Pecan Pie: 2.75/5 The vanilla bean whip topping is some of the best whipped cream I have ever had. The pecan pie filling is a bit too liquidy for my liking and doesn't give you the richness that I'm looking for from a pecan pie filling. The chocolate ganache tastes almost exactly like Pillsbury chocolate frosting, just with a smoother texture. The donut itself was spongy and chewy. I felt like i was chewing the dough for ages. A very chocolate forward donut. Plum Fritter: 1.5/5 I don't know if it's the ingredients, the temperature of the fryer, or what, but whenever I see a fritter out they consistently look burnt. This fritter in particular was completely lackluster. I was expecting crispy, crunchy edges with a soft and spongy center but the entire fritter was soft and mushy, and did not at all have the bite that a fritter should. The texture is more like a concha, if I'm completely honest. There was no sign of plum, aside from the ribbons of the pink throughout the dough. I don't know if they use actually plum chunks the way a typical apple fritter uses apple chunks, or if they use a plum jam ribboned through the dough, but either way I was entirely disappointed by this fritter.

The moment I walked in, I was surprised by how quiet and cold the atmosphere felt. It didn't feel welcoming or cozy like a bakery usually does. Instead, it felt more like walking into an office waiting room. Unfortunately, the service made the experience even worse. This was my first time visiting in person, so I had a few questions about the different cake flavors. The girl with braces seemed impatient the entire time and kept trying to rush me while I was speaking. At one point, she even exchanged a smirk with the other employee, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I honestly didn't understand the attitude. In the end, I ordered the same raspberry cake because I completely lost interest in trying anything else. Ironically, this time the cake tasted way too sweet for me. I even tried eating it cold straight from the fridge to tone down the sweetness, but it was still overwhelming. Overall, the combination of the service and the cake not tasting as good as before made this visit disappointing.
