Very nice spot. Food was okay for lunch. Funny you can't get a glass of wine there with your lunch! My issue is service. We ordered and found a table outside on the patio, which is lovely. I had to go inside to see if our order was ready and someone picked up our order thinking it was theirs. Major confusion. The woman working said she called out my name for the order, however I couldn't hear that outside! She informed me it's a cafe and you pick it up when they call your name !!! But I was outside and you didn't call my name out there!!! I have no problem getting my food but if you have a patio where customers are sitting at least you could stick your head out the door and let me know. read more

Relatively new spot in Lodi, CA, conveniently located to the Wine & Visitor's center at Wine & Roses, which has a pleasant and eclectic menu. Aside from new twists on old staples for Breakfast (personal favorite is the Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwich), there is a wide variety of salads and lunch options as well. Coffee is impeccably curated and all is hand-made (sample the Granola!). There's also a Chef's Daily meal, which as the name implies, changes daily and never disappoints. If you're here in the afternoon, there's also a nice rotating selection of microbrews (can/bottle only, no taps, yet...), and of course wine next door. Good place to stop in and have a light breakfast. Took off a star because it could get pricey and I am not sure some of the items are worth the price they price them. Came in ~7am on a Friday. 3 other people in the cafe and 1 gentleman ordering ahead of me. The barista/cashiers service was perfunctory at best. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but she seemed bother by the fact that there were customers interrupting her morning. Hard to describe in words...mostly I felt unwelcomed/unwanted. I ordered a small cold brew coffee and a smoked salmon tartine. The cold brew was really okay. Granted I wouldn't order it again. The salmon tartine really yummy! The dill cream cheese and pickled red onions were then highlight. Wish they would have spread the cream cheese evenly over the toast and sliced the giant caper into smaller pieces/sprinkled it on top so I could have gotten the "perfect" bite with a little bit of everything. Amazing food and coffee. Freshly prepared and locally grown. Great place to study or meet up with friends. Staff is extremely kind and willing to accommodate with special orders if they can. I ordered a hot latte and they made an iced one by accident. When I let them know, they apologized and made me the hot drink, and let me keep both. They even threw in a free cinnamon roll, which was super sweet of them. House made almond milk is the best almond milk I've ever had! It's a new cafe, but I've already been several times and each time I go I love it even more. They sell their jam and tea, and also lots of cute merchandise to purchase. read more

Found myself "Stuck (by choice) in Lodi again" and needed a new place to try for my Breve Latte addiction. Towne Corner Cafe & Market didn't disappoint! The baristas know their coffee and it's so nice to get service with a smile! A sincere "how are you" followed by caffeine is always the way to my heart. As to write a fair review I HAD to try the egg white muffin...OMG is all I can say. The crispy cheese bottom and sun-dried tomatoes danced in my mouth! I can't wait to try the other gourmet foods they have available. Salads, sandwiches, fresh pressed juices, all local, seasonal and sustainable! We were driving through town in our RV and stumbled on this cute coffee bar and cafe next to the Lodi visitor center. We both enjoyed the English muffin breakfast sandwich ($6) and the lattes were excellent. We bought a chocolate chip cookie for later and it was excellent. A little pricey but it's not McDonald's and the eggs aren't precooked by the hundreds. Restroom was super clean. Really nice staff and service. read more

Tasty vanilla crepe and banana roll. Cinnamon roll has cream cheese on top. It was different but good. Thy couldn't warm up the cinnamon roll because it wouldn't fit into their oven. It's nice for a couples breakfast. Wouldn't recommend bringing kids. read more

Went to try this place today for breakfast. DISAPPOINTED to say, the least, I had gotten avocado toast, which fell apart every bite you took I also got a Chia pudding, which was not very good but that was my first time ever trying that to be fair. I picked up a fruit parfait thinking it's a safe bet if I don't like anything else i'm trying. Boy was I WRONG, when i'm telling you the greek yogurt was so expired & sour I couldn't even swallow my first bite with out having to spit it out & rinse my mouth out. I am so angry I paid $37 and ended up with an expired Parfait that could have made me very sick. It was the worst Parfait I have ever tasted how can you mess up a Parfait, and yes it has an EXP date on it today is 9/17 it was dated for 9/21 so they really need to watch what they are serving because it was insanely sour & defiantly expired. Also they are very slow at service I had to wait 20 minutes for a piece of Avocado toast. The environment is very high strung & make you feel uncomfortable, all the vibes are just not there. People stare at you & the employees were semi nice but not very friendly. I really do not recommend this place. I don't like writing review but I feel people should know the experience I had. Ok, this is a complicated review and stars are based on high prices. The location itself is beautiful and the interior looks like a cooking TV show set. There is outside seating with shade and it shares an entrance with the Lodi wine tasting room. They serve coffee drinks as well as other bottled/canned drinks. There are a few pre-made salads and displays of sandwiches which are made fresh. There is a small selection of baked goods and they look really good. I tried the banana roll (kinda like banana nut bread) and it was awesome. The sandwiches run around $12 and up which is very high considering they don't include any sides. If they would expand their menu and lower their prices they might just become a local destination rather than a try it once because it's new place. read more

Hate to see a place I love not have the 5 stars it deserves! I've been to Towne Corner a lot since they opened and I just moved in across the street so it's become my main coffee joint. So nice to walk the dog over and sit on their spacious patio with lots of seating. The inside is gorgeous as well and always very clean. The food is outstanding - I've tried the breakfast sandwich and various toasts and they were all great but my new go to is the honey bran muffin and a fruit cup. Their baked goods are insane! Try any muffin, scone, or the amazing cinnamon rolls and you will not be disappointed. Absolutely love the coffee and espresso there too, and the almond milk made in house by their chef! The prices are a little high but it is Wine and Roses and I think it's worth it for the quality and ambiance. read more

Looked delicious in through the window. Staff asked if I would like it warmed up. I said sure! I think they forgot. The roll wasn't warm at all and it was stale. The only saving grace was there was plenty of frosting on top! My husband had the egg salad sandwich. He said it was ok. We also ordered 2 cappuccinos. Total for the 4 items was $26.
