Loving this new location of Maiwand Kabob in Clarksville! We've been ordering delivery online, and it's been 10/10 every time. I like to get the chicken kabob platter, and my husband likes the lamb kabob. With the platter, you have an option to get three sides with your choice of entree. My go-to sides are the potato curry (super yum!), chickpea curry (also yum!), and the seasoned rice (again yum!) The 6 pcs samosas are the perfect appetizer for two people. Everything is absolutely delicious!

The food was excellent and the service was good. The ambiance was pleasing, but the temperature was very cold inside.

I visited this location last night for dinner. The food was great and exceeded my expectations. Even though I live a little further, I would have no issue making the drive here again. The portions were nice and big so I had enough for dinner and lunch the next day. If you are looking for a new place to try. I definitely recommend this one.

Lamb curry - Friday special I can't even begin to articulate the flavor explosion in this dish. I Cynivised it by adding seasoned basmati rice. #FeedsMySoulStatusConferred you'll have to go an try it out for yourself. I added the sides: salad and spinach. The salad fresh mixed greens. I think that the dressing was a light vinaigrette base with a strong dill presence. Spinach was cooked to the perfect texture, leaving it still having a little bit of bite and not being mushy at all. Good seasoning as well. Be sure to order a side of fresh bread, it comes out piping hot as it is made to order. Soft texture , with starting this, allowing you to scoop the sauce. Service For it to be a more of a carry out or dine and go quickly atmosphere, the service was top notch, royalty level. Extremely personable anticipating customers needs. For appetizers, we got Mantwo and Bowlawani- it was absolutely DEMOLISHED. Mantwo is basically afghan dumpling, and the filling was incredible savory and had a meaty texture. The was my favorite appetizer, stuffed with spiced potatoes, lentils, and chives/leeks from what I saw. The dipping sauce of yogurt and mint went amazing with it. For mains, we got the Lamb Lawand and Lamb loin chop. The lamb lawand was this savory rice dish- they served it with mushrooms and a side of beautifully seasoned spinach. It came as a stew that you were able to mix with your rice as you please. As for the lamb loin chop, it was incredibly tender- falling off the bone. Dessert was difficult, as I am deathly allergic to all nuts. My partner got the hazelnut chocolate cake, and from what I heard they rated it very highly. I got the afghan ice cream; the flavor were incredibly unique, with notes of cardamom, saffron and rose water. I usually have a problem with rose water in my desserts, as it ends up tasting overly flowery or soapy, but I think it was executed well. The toppings of dates, mangos, and figs went incredibly well with the flavors of the ice cream. My only complaint was the service being a bit slow, but at the time we went it was incredibly busy, and I don't blame the workers. Otherwise, this was a great place to go to for an elevated meal! Not TOO fancy, but not too casual either.

When we walked in, we were sat in the very large dining area and our server came right over. The atmosphere definitely lends itself to a smart casual outfit vibe. Very cutesy!! We started off with the bowlani. It was a freshly gently fried samosa if I had to describe it. I enjoyed it very much. I wanted to try multiple items but for some reason wasn't very hungry so I went with the vegetarian aushuk and the mashawa soup. I also ordered the bread to dip in my soup. Everything was very tasty. The service was excellent and the overall vibe of the restaurant was pleasant. I'll be back for sure.

We thought it was a good sign that the clientele (& their many kids) reflected the Middle-Eastern ethnicity of the staff (and presumably the owners). "Eat where the locals eat" usually is a reliable barometer of quality and this adage certainly did not disappoint. We ordered two lunch entrees (the Chicken Shawarma platter and the Chicken Malai (photos attached), and both far exceeded our expectations for tastiness, freshness and (for $15.99 each), for value. Seriously a very generous quantity of food for that middle-of-the-expectable-range sum for lunch. Did I mention those kids? Thay teemed in number, energy and aduial volume in a small, glassed-in and industrial-style eating area. While we ascribe the intense distraction that caused to our bad luck, next time (and there definitely will be a next time) we may get carryout and a single order to split. So much food!

I was greeted and the cashier was friendly, they had plenty of seating inside and outside and in general seemed like a nice casual restaurant to have dinner at if we weren't planning to take our food to go. The cashier explained the menu and the combo options which allowed any two meats to be ordered together and brought our food to us while we waited outside with our dog. I ordered a lamb and beef kofta combo with some chick pea curry to split with my wife. The meat was pretty tasty and the naan was massive enough for two to split, I was thrown by how strange the rice tasted, barely edible due to its flavor but the texture wasn't brittle/overcooked. The chick peas were very strange tasting, salty and with a flavor I could only describe as Old Bay, we both couldn't bring ourselves to eat them. Overall I think perhaps we just came at a bad time as it was two hours until closing but while we hate to waste food we ended up tossing everything but the meat/naan. personally hate to waste food.

To my luck, we had great Uzbek food less than 15 mins away! It was a while ago but we ordered the samsa, manti, kutabi, plov, and chohohbli, and I can't recall what else but we loved it! Last night my husband and I decided to dine in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with cultural artifacts and art. This may just be a me thing but the serveware was envy worthy. It was gorgeous. I'm obsessed with beautiful dishware. There were only two people taking orders and serving food for an almost full dining room so we were understanding of a bit of a wait time. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us when they could. We ordered the khachipuri, samsa, oxtail, chohobli, steamed rice, pilmeni, and hot tea. Both the khachipuri and samsa were flaky pastries: khachapuri filled with a salty stretchy cheese with a cheese pull that tasted better than it was Instagram-able and samsa filled with a savory meat/onion mixture served with a tomato based sauce. Get one per person because you will not want to share. We ordered fried mini dumplings which are filled with meat and also served with same tomato based sauce that came with the samsa. They were delicious but afterwards I saw that you can get them steamed in a broth, I told myself I have to get that next time. The slow-cooked, tender oxtail was served over the best crispy, fat-fried potatoes I've ever had. The chohobli (chicken stew) was fall off the bone into a delicious tomato-based stew. We ordered the rice to sop up the delicious stew. The tea really helped to cut the richness of all the delicious food. I have not shut up about this place since we had this meal. I will rave about it to just about anyone that will listen in hopes that they will come with me next time so we can order more dishes to share.
