As a retired architect, I have worked with many contractors. Majestic Builders was one of the best! I asked them to re-build 3 heavy timber wood trellises that were suffering from 20+ years of exposure to the elements, including a large beam that weighed over 400 lbs. From the office staff (Jenny) to the field crew (Led by Jake), they were extremely easy to work with, eagerly accommodated my requests, were on time, very efficient and the cost was reasonable. To my surprise they completed the work in one day! In addition, they were very respectful of my existing landscaping and performed a thorough cleanup of the premises prior to leaving. At our family home in Fair Oaks, Robert and his wonderful team completed a comprehensive project that included a pool with beautiful water features, a firepit and sitting area, extensive concrete decking and walkways, and lovely landscaping. We couldn't have been happier with Majestic Builders due to the incredible final products, the efficient and clean building process, the creative approach, and the competitive pricing. From the very beginning, Robert and his team showed excitement over our challenging project rather than apprehension. Some other pool companies declined to bid on the project or were deterred when the county prevented us from removing some trees. Rather than be deterred, Robert and his team found a way to incorporate the pool into a different part of the yard, something that made our dreams a reality. And when it comes to pricing, they were very competitive. Additionally, there were no surprise costs, which was a great relief after some of the pool building stories that we heard. Our project finished well ahead of schedule. Almost every day, his team was on site working on our project. Our neighbors frequently stopped us to express gratitude for the clean building site and surrounding areas, something that we understand after witnessing other constructions that seem to fill the streets with debris and waste. At Majestic Builders, they are cognizant of every small detail. Our home builder included an obtrusive retaining wall in our backyard, and Robert and his team found a way to shave it down and incorporate it so that it became less obtrusive while maintaining its same purpose. This small detail demonstrates one of the many ways that Robert and his team focus on every detail to make the project a masterpiece. They notice and incorporate details for aesthetic purposes, like the shape of our deck. They also care about structural details, like a small addition to an existing retaining wall. Now, the most important part: the pool! Robert and his team built us a beautiful pool. Though a bit smaller (30 feet by 12 feet), they treated our project with care. And the end product is spectacular! Our attractive rectangular pool includes two beautiful concrete bowls that cascade water into the pool. The beautiful gemstone bottom will remain strong for the next 25 years. Our pool equipment is state of the art. Our pool will be a source of relaxation and memories for many years to come. Rob made our backyard vision come to life and he was enjoyable to work with. I was extremely impressed with how quickly our pool was built. We broke ground in May and were swimming in July. Many of our neighbors pools have been under construction for years, so being able to use ours right away was amazing. When we first met Rob he was quick to understand our specific vision, respectful of our price range, very honest and extremely knowledgeable. Very disappointed with Robert Terry from majestic builders. Had him come out and spent well over an hour with him discussing our visions for a courtyard project and a bit of time about a project for future in our backyard. He got so focused on the back yard project apparently because he responded not with a quote as promised for the courtyard nor in the timeframe promised, but with an email stating that he is too busy to take on our project right now and he'd refer us to someone else FOR THE BACKYARD. What makes you think that I'd trust a referral when you didn't do what you said you would in the timeframe you said you'd do it? He followed up twice with voice mails asking me to call him back for the referral about the backyard. Good follow up, bad focus. Would have liked to have done business together, but not considering them now unfortunately. read more
