We see an incredible difference after heavy rain with our yard, there is no pooling or puddling on our hardscape in comparison to our neighbors' yards because his team re-did our plumbing system to ensure that i was done right. They came out in July/august and gave us a pretty reasonable quote for the amount of work that needed to be done. He was booked out a few months (which is honestly a good sign) so they couldn't complete the work until Nov. we happened to be away on vacation when they started the work and we're a little concerned about them starting without us home to remind them what we wanted. Such a relief, he had remembered and noted everything we wanted and talked about Months before. The work was completed in less than two weeks. The guys doing the work we're efficient and nice, and worked so hard every day to get this completed timely. There was one hiccup about a stone pathway we wanted (not pictured) . The charge for the stone pathway was about $500 for these large stones to walk around the side of our house. The stones came quite a bit smaller than we had discussed and they agreed and didn't charge us for them. The customer service is outstanding! We are planning to do our front yard in the next year or two and will definitely be calling them again.

We have had nothing but issues since Matt did our front and backyard. We have had numerous plants…read moredie (probably due to the sand issue below) and irrigation leaks. The two most pressing issues are below: 1) He recommended planting five olive trees by our pool. We asked if that would cause any issues with our pool multiple times and he said no. A year later we had an arborist out to train and trim some trees and he said the olive trees are going to ruin the pool and pipes around the pool. We subsequently had to replant them all in pots. 2) Our grass has constantly been a mix of yellow and green. We can't seem to get a lush green like all our neighbors despite following Green Acres fertilizer directions. Thinking it our fault, we hired a grass specialist to start maintaining our grass for us. He did some soil samples and said fertilizer isn't going to help at all. The issue is all the sand under the grass. The roots can't take hold because Matt and his team put way too much sand under the sod they put down. Now we have to hire a legit landscaper to redo everything. This was not a cheap project by any means. Use at your own peril.

They started the next day with a large crew and worked every day like clock work. They just finished the project today and went way above the call of duty!! Jose has a awesome crew and they just get it done!!!! They did such an awesome job I gave them more stuff to do around here.. They are clean neat organized n make things happen and quickly too.. The good: Punctual Finished before deadline Nice concrete work The bad: Quoted one price, made promises about what we'd get, John sprung additional "over budget" costs at the end, despite the fact we discussed these items when we got our initial bid. Sneaky. Damaged my stucco in several areas; had to keep calling for them to repair. Repair is not even complete. Never heard from them again. Plants are spaced wonky ..... for example 2 flower bushes are close together and the third is another foot away, looks silly. Shade tree placed in yard is not centered on the hole that was dug, so the border looks crooked. drives me crazy!! Gate does not match fencing and it looks like crap. No really, it looks bad. Why have a non matching gate?! The gate is dog ear fencing and the rest of the fence is wire with framing. Space under gate was filled with random extra bricks instead of a kick board. Again, looks bad and lazy. They quoted us for 24x24 stepping stones only to get cheap ugly 12x12 stones. Also, at least 6 of our plants have died in the year since they landscaped. BOO!

A separate project required our artificial grass to be lifted up, & the person who did it commented on how impressed he was by the great job the grass installers had done. I will admit I was a bit hesitant on using someone I found on social media for any types of services, from previous experience, but Sam went above and beyond my expectations!!! Real nice and down to earth guy! I have no idea what the previous reviewers experienced, our experience working with Sam via communication,responsiveness and overall has been wonderful! Having such a huge yard we dealt with a ton of stress and had 0 clue on where to start or what we even wanted, we made some mistakes in the beginning with our yard, Sam literally came in and saved the day with his vision!!! He not only gave us like a ton of suggestions, but transformed our yard into something we would not have imagined! No big deal Had a great convo & I felt like this is the company we are going to use. He promised a few deliverables and said he would get back to me in a few days. Well that was 7-8 weeks ago. I have exchanged text messages and heard a variety of excuses from family stuff to a wrong email. Finally a few weeks ago I told him we need to either do this or not. And if he can't do it - just tell me and I will find someone else... well since then - nothing - not even "hey I can't do it , sorry" So moral of the story - find someone else and don't even waste ur time with this person. What drives me crazy is why did he waste his time if he had no intention of doing the work ‍‍‍

When I asked when he could start the work, he gave me several days hence. I accepted his bid and wanted to confirm the work to be done. He said he'd let me know shortly when he could stop by. That was the last I ever heard from him. If he had said that, for whatever reason he could no longer do the work, no problemo. We'd both move on. But he didn't and honestly, I just think people who don't keep their word are not worth giving anything more than a 1 out 5. But that's just me.
