There was a transient that came in and asked to charge his phone and was a bit scary. The owner was nice to him and let him charge it for about 10 minutes but then asked him to leave since he wasn't purchasing anything and honestly he was taking advantage of the place. Really good quality food with good portions. Their California roll is one of tree best I've had in a while's I got the bento and it came with salad, protein, Mac salad, gyoza and Cali roll! Everything was labeled and ready to go despite the time crunch. One of the employees also helped us out with checking the food, recalling each order from heart. In addition, to the great service was the great food!! The portions are pretty great for the price they offer especially for the bento boxes. Not only were they presented beautifully but you can definitely count on being full or having a second lunch with it. They sell traditional Korean foods like Yukgaejang and Ddukbboki as well as popular Japanese style Sushi rolls and a few Asian bowl/lunch boxes with beef, chicken or spicy pork. For a place that is not a full fledged Korean restaurant, their Korean menu items are surprisingly delicious and tastes authentic. Sushi rolls were always fresh and reasonably priced especially when compared to some big name Sushi franchises in Carson. They don't give you any banchan like most Korean restaurants but I think it's understandable given this establishment is more of a quick bite/take out kind of place. Finding how to get to this place was a bit tricky. They are located in a small area right as you exit the 91 freeway on Central ave. So if you don't enter through the freeway exit ramp, the only other entrance is on Central Ave through the Carls Jr parking lot. read more

The chicken in the chicken teriyaki bowl felt rubbery and was burnt due to being over cooked. And the customer service was so below level. I waited 20 minutes for my food and in the midst of waiting I witnessed the cashier get an attitude with a customer because she wanted a refund for receiving a soggy bland spicy salmon roll! I was astonished. The only reason I didn't ask for a refund is because I want to support small businesses. The only thing good was the green onions on the rice bowl. I will never return.
