Really good quality food with good portions. Their California roll is one of tree best I've had in a while's I got the bento and it came with salad, protein, Mac salad, gyoza and Cali roll! For about $18 this was easily 2 meals for me. They're right off the central exit off the 91. Food also tastes authentic.

The sushi here is always amazing! I usually come for lunch because the space is spotless, the staff is super friendly, and the rolls are always fresh. I tried their new sushi dog today and WOW -- it was so filling that I could barely get through half of it. Definitely worth a try! OVERALL DELICIOUS

I got couple rolls - California roll, Super Crunch roll, baked salmon roll, baked lobster roll. All the rolls were on point but my favorite was the Baked Lobster roll. It was different from what I usually get but it was so good! So much flavor! We also got the Tempura Udon and the broth was amazing!!! It had a bit of a kick to it but it complemented the sushi rolls. Highly recommended! Would be coming back

The service was great, first time coming here and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food tasted absolutely great and tbh the specialty rolls were priced fairly. You can go to other sushi places and get mid sushi at the same price or more, this place is solid. I also like their inside seating, very clean and although limited, great use of the spa

Great service & hospitality! Been here twice now since the new ownership and it's great. Highly recommend, especially since it's a new business. Food was great both times! Definitely will make this my new go to spot considering it's a couple minutes from me & all the other decent places are further. 10/10.

It's great to a sushi and Asian food at this location. The service people are really kind and prices are good. I recommend this restaurant.

I will say I was not impressed with the short ribs and the banchan was fine, however they had a Sonoratown korean tacos special for one day and I'm hoping it'll be more often because they were top tier tacos - easily the best fusion ones I've had. Spicy pork - Yes, it has a kick. The meat is tender and flavorful and worked perfectly with calamansi juice on top. 4.7/5 Vegan shrimp - These were fantastic, I don't know what made it Vegan but this is easily the best vegan food I've had and you can't tell at all. Add some calamansi juice on it. 4.8/5 Bulgolgi - Another flavorful option that is tender and balanced. 4.7/5

It's gotten a lot more popular since then, with some great additions to the menu (a lot of vegan options) and social advertising. So when I was walking back home from a delicious (but not filling) lunch, decided to stop in to 'top off'. It had a great dish along with very good banchans (but also a bland rendition of a classic Korean dish). It was busy on a mid Saturday afternoon, with their dedicated backyard parking lot pretty full. They now have outdoor seating where they've set-up korean 'grill-your-own' bbq tables. There's a clear 'Please wait to be seated' sign at the front, but no dedicated hostess station, so one has to wait till a server happens to come by. I was told I could choose a booth. There are no printed menus, instead needing to depend on their website. I had a craving for kimchi jjigae ($18.99), and noticed mackerel ($9.99) so got that as well. The jjigae comes with banchan, and those came early. They really upped their game here, with 7 different ones that looked (and tasted) great. Today, they had a daikon and carrot pickled salad (solid, would go great with fried chicken), stir-fried mushrooms (would go great in a bibimbap), marinated fish cakes (a personal favorite, and their version was solid), soybean sprout side dish (have grown to appreciate this as I've gotten older), napa kimchi (pretty strongly sour), cucumber kimchi (strongly favored by still maintaining crunchiness), and a decent macaroni salad (think I tasted a bit of potato in there, Hawaiian-style). This is a super good deal, especially for lunch. The banchan along with the steamed rice (well prepared) comes in bronze looking dishes, indicating a higher level of refinement. I love pike mackerel, having it quite a lot when growing up, and always thought that it (kkongchi) was what mackerel was in Korea. In reality, a more popular mackerel is the Korean mackerel (godeungeo), and this is what is served as an appetizer here: the preparation was a revelation. Two large, generous, boneless filets of mackerel is lightly breaded and fried. It sits on top of a bed of greens with various accompaniments. A generous amount of chili threads make it visually appealing as well. This is an absolute steal at the price, a fine dining dish at this restaurant. And it was great not having to worry about thin bones ruining each bite. I really loved this dish. The dish I thought would be good...was not. Just looking at it, one can tell something's up: the broth was bland without umami, which is the worst sin for this dish. There is a choice of spam (chosen) or pork belly, and its definitely added at the end of cooking since it added nothing to the broth flavor. Maybe the broth is initially prepared vegan-style (no pork or fish seasoning initially)? But if so, why no mushrooms? Anyway...I ate all the chunks in the stew to not waste, but left the rest of the broth alone. Service was attentive to bring the dishes, but then completely non-responsive afterwards. I finally was able to grab another server, who was able to check me out tableside using Toast tablets.

It "looks like a typical burger joint inside with Booths. There's a side door for to go orders. Food service was quick and the portions are big. For their price, I would hope so. We ordered the following: Bulgolgi Fries Garlic Steak Noodle Egg Cheese corn Ranking in best to so-so, I'd have to say is the steamed egg. Yes, I was surprised too. I thought the Bulgolgi fries would be number one. Sadly it's not. If you mess up steamed egg, ima gonna say no to the rest of your menu. I would order two next time and just stick to that. The cheese corn was okay, but compared to PaDak and other local Korean spot I say skip this. The cheese tasted weird to me and I did t like that it was also a kraft American cheese. As a cheese lover, I only expect that square cheese to be on a burger or cheese melt. The Bulgolgi Fries could serve 3 people. But it was drenched with sauce, and spicy sauce. Not enough Bulgolgi to pay $20. The cut of fries were this nd tasted like sweet potato. It just didn't fit my taste buds. The Garlic noodle okay. That's Al I have to say about that. I'm glad I finally tried this place, but I don't know if I would come back for anything on their menu. I would rather go next door or across the street.

The service is a mix of people and robotic delivery system, which was really convenient for getting our food items quickly. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and knew when to change grills without being asked. We chose to go with Menu B, which is $30/person for lunch pricing. Beef belly - 10/5, my favorite cut and they have an excellent balance of fat and meat. Brisket - 5/5, good! But chewier than the beef belly since it's a lean cut. Garlic Pork belly - 4/5, delicious but the garlic burnt on the grill. Pork belly slices - 5/5, more convenient than pork belly since the slices are thinner and cook faster. Galbi short rib - 5/5, sweet marinade and very tender. The other menu sides we ordered were mix veggies, steamed egg, corn cheese, beef soup, salad, and rice paper. Their banchan is on the sweeter side, but 10/10 I loved the kimchi and kimchi radish dishes. Lots of parking available directly in front of the restaurant and in the plaza. The customer service here has always been amazing and yesterday was no different. The staff was super attentive, friendly, and overall just great the entire night. It was actually the first time bringing our 4-year-old daughter with us and she had an absolute blast. She loved the little robots bringing out the food and the staff made the experience feel welcoming and fun for her. Now unfortunately the issue for us this time was mainly the meat quality and portions. It was just my wife and I, and from the very beginning we let them know not to overload us with meat because we wanted to try different items throughout dinner. Instead, each plate came out with huge portions, to the point where we only ended up doing one round because we felt bad leaving food behind. We ordered the short ribs, thin sliced brisket, and spicy beef belly. In my experience eating Korean BBQ over the years, cuts like these are usually very tender because of the fat content and quality. But this time around, almost everything was extremely chewy and tough. It honestly surprised me because I've eaten at plenty of KBBQ spots and I've never really had brisket and beef belly come out that hard to chew. To be fair, we still tried making the best out of the night because our daughter was having such a good time. The steamed egg was honestly amazing and my daughter basically survived off white rice and steam egg the whole dinner. The service truly carried the experience for us because the employees were awesome from start to finish. I'm hoping this was just an off night because this place has always been solid for us before. I'll still probably come back eventually because the people here really do care, but I definitely hope the meat quality improves back to how it used to be.
