Normally things are fine, but I recently found a small hair in my spring roll. Doubt you can even see it, but thought it was something to share. It's not worth arguing with them about it in my opinion-- I can see it not going well AT ALL. I desperately wanted it to be my own hair, but it was tucked into the roll and my strands just don't feel and look that way--who knows maybe I'm wrong. That's the chance I take when eating out. I assume their hair is "clean", but still a bit disturbing. Ending up throwing out the other roll and rest of my pho. I've never had heartburn before. 2 hours later and I'm still in pain, already took Alka Seltzer and Tums. The protein portions are in the small side. The service was exceptional, and they were really on top of it. I don't know if it's a family or own business but if it isn't, there were way too many employees present and not enough customers. I was suspicious feeling that they have some kind of a deal with some advertising that was blasting so loudly that we couldn't hear ourselves. They have some kind of a radio station or something consistently speaking louder than their TV sets that is advertising for some stupid program and it's on a loop and so loud and obnoxious that we wanted to leave in the middle of our meal. I've been sick and we decided Pho might help. We found this place as we were driving to the mall. It did not disappoint! We were sat down quickly, and staff was friendly. The Traditional Combo (Pho) Sliced steak, brisket, flank, tendon and tripe in a clear, aromatic broth. 2. Side of Shrimp (3pcs) and Beef Ball (2 pcs but cut in half to look like 4) Overall experience was amazing. The broth flavor and temperature was perfect. For a large size felt medium with a large bowl and especially the side items for $4 each, I expected more. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. We heard about this place through social media and the food looked delicious, so we finally went. As we got to the restaurant, we noticed that the ambiance and cleanliness did not look its best. But we still decided to give it a try. Service was great. Granted, there was hardly anyone. They sat us down and took down our order. When they were serving us we noticed plates were worn done, when asking for a plastic spoon-they touched the whole things with their bare hands, and I asked for an extra cup and it seemed to have been wet. Solid 2 out of 5 for the soup. I also got the surf and turf with the garlic noodles. It was pretty fair, nothing crazy! Beef was pretty tender at least, shrimp was tasty. But couldn't really finish cuz it was pretty greasy. Way too much grease. So that needs some fixing. Now let's talk about service. Some lady took my order and that was the last I saw of her. Never came back to see if I needed anything, or if everything was ohkay. Nope. Wanted to try a new Vietnamese spot from our usual place. Very unfortunate to say that this place is very disappointing. First off, we ordered 4 beef banh mi and a combination fried rice. Their sandwich started off looking pretty good, but they didn't have pickles veggies and there were only 3 slices of crumpled meat in the whole sandwich. I guess for $8, you get what you pay for. Bread was not toasted, but soft. The combination fried rice was also a disappointment. They didn't give you that much, and the fried rice had no taste.
