Pearl was super organized and good at time management. She doesn't waste time, she fits right into any group, and is extremely professional. Pearl is a true artist. My bestie also received an eyelash lift from Pearl after the wedding. The lash lift looked like a million dollar difference and my bestie said it didn't hurt at all. Lash lift lasted for quite a long time. I'm considering a lash lift by Pearl, as well, once I have a little extra time. I cannot say enough good things about Pearl. Pearl is so awesome! 3 months before my wedding my makeup artist backed out and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anyone but thankfully someone recommended Pearl! She really latched on to what I wanted for my day and offered great rates to include my mom and sister. She applied appropriate makeup to the right person and made it look natural. She is absolutely amazing! I am so glad I found her. She not only did my fabulous makeup, she did all 7 of my bridesmaids, my mom & my mother in law and finished before our scheduled time! I wanted to leave a great review for Makeup By Pearl.. she did an unbelievable job on my makeup as one of 2 brides on our wedding day in October of 2016 in San Francisco. She also did a great job on the maid of honor's hair and makeup, two more bridesmaids makeup and including one of the mother of the bride's makeup. We were looking for someone that was in the Bay Area that did hair and makeup on Instagram. I also wanted to find someone that could do makeup for someone who was Asian with a darker complexion and doesn't wear much makeup. When I met Pearl for a trial run.. she was very professional and listened to what I wanted for my makeup for the wedding. I don't wear a lot of makeup to begin with. But she made sure I was comfortable and she made me feel really beautiful on one of the best days of my life. I was sooo happy with the outcome of of my makeup at the wedding, that we decided to hire her again for an after wedding photo shoot. And she made both my wife and I look absolutely beautiful. Of all the people I've had do my makeup, I have loved Pearl the BEST! My maid of honor found her for our engagement photo session. She was so personable and I appreciate her history in how she learned makeup application. Her passion and love for the art truly shows. I had the most fun chatting with her during our session, I feel like she really got to know me which turned into having makeup done that was truly.. me! (The glammed up version of course). She was really smart about my light skin tone and small eyes... people tend to over do my makeup, make me look like a raccoon or choose too bold colors but she figured it out. She gave me a lot of makeup advice too which I so appreciate too. I had her curl my hair which is no easy feat because I have thick thick heavy hair but the curls were so bouncy and alive!
