The pancakes were slightly pink, so it seemed like the batter may have been flavored, but there was no real strawberry taste. That said, there were lots of chocolate chips, which I personally enjoyed--my son, however, felt there were too many. The sausage was okay--standard breakfast sausage but not very flavorful. The hash browns were lightly crispy but completely unseasoned, and not as crispy as I prefer. The fries were also unseasoned and not very crispy. My husband ordered the fried fish, and his review was simply "meh." On the positive side, the service was good. The woman working was very friendly and clearly hustling. She was also training someone at the same time but still did her best to make sure everyone was taken care of, which we appreciated. The atmosphere is a lot of fun, especially if you love Betty Boop. The place is filled with statues, pictures, and themed décor, and that was honestly one of my favorite parts of the visit. There seemed to be a lot of regulars, so maybe it was just an off day for our first visit. I'd might consider trying it again, but this visit was just okay overall.

She took our menus without asking if we wanted anything else, which felt rushed and dismissive. We ordered cocktails and later noticed they had a drink with CBD and THC in it. When we tried to order one at the bar, she came to our table to tell us she couldn't serve it to us because we had already had a cocktail. That seemed extremely odd, especially since there was no explanation of that policy beforehand. I asked another bartender about it, and he said he would have ordered one for us and even agreed it was strange. That confirmed for me that the issue didn't seem to be policy, but the way she handled the situation. Based on the attitude and the inconsistent service we experienced, management seriously needs to address this. Staff representing a business should be welcoming and consistent, and unfortunately that was not the case tonight. If this is the level of service being provided, it's something ownership should take seriously.
