This used to be an excellent shop. But I guess it sold again, the skinny kid running it now (and presumably the new owner) has no concept of customer relations. All I needed was the Harris County mandated emissions test (which is another joke for another day) and he was slow, complained about everything, even the type of vehicle (RV in my case) as if HE is doing you a favor by his very presence. Texas law allows for the entire front windshield to be filmed/tinted with a "clear" un- tinted film that does not visibly alter or color the glass when viewed in natural daylight. In addition, a visor strip may be added to the top of the front windshield. I just stopped by this morning to have my vehicle inspected and was told that Texas law doesn't allow front windshield to be tinted. I have looked this up many time and been told everything was good to go prior to having my vehicle tinted. read more

Don't waste your time. Their posted hours show they close at 6 p.m. I was there yesterday at 4:55 p.m and found the place closed. Thinking they might come back, I called. After it rang 10-12 rings it went to voicemail, a voicemail that was full and would not take messages. I won't be going there again unless I receive assurance that they are open and actually working before I go. I encourage you to do the same. read more

I came in for a vehicle inspection, had a chat with her the entire 15 minutes while waiting and she was so personable, friendly, and sweet. Plus I love that she looks after healthcare workers and gave me an amazing discount! I almost felt bad leaving her place, enjoying my stay, and getting my car serviced in record time, and walking away paying little to nothing. Shady vibes. I come in and the owner is sitting at her desk enjoying a bag of chips. The staff were just sitting around as well in the office. When I walked in the staff just stared while the owner inquired as to what I needed. She told me an inspection was $25 CASH (emphasis on cash) and for me to hand over my keys to one of the guys lounging in a chair (who was also staring at me). I gave him my keys and he goes out to the bay. I started to give the $25 to the owner who said, "Give it to him. I don't take the money but I collect it all from them when it's done." So I handed the other guy the cash. I turned around and saw my car being driven off down the street (not pulled into the bay in where the emissions was to take place) AND by the guy who'd been staring at me. I asked the owner, "Where is he going and what is he doing with my car?" She says, "Oh....he's just checking your brakes." Huh? I came here for an emissions inspection no one should be "test driving" my car. She apologized and he eventually returned with it. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. The owner was pleasant enough but the staff gave me an uncomfortable vibe. In fact the whole operation did. I decided to go outside and watch the actual inspection. The worker who'd been staring before, starts staring again which made me super uncomfortable but I needed to be outside so I could watch them. He's fumbling around with my gas cap and trying to make small talk. "Why'd you move here? What did you think of the city you came from? You must have been tired of living there..." TOO MUCH. Stop flirting! Just do your job! AND..he's leaning all over my car damn near sitting on it. Suddenly he says, "Your gas cap failed." I really expected him to hustle me for a "pass" - that's pretty much the sense I got. The other guy tells him to do it again and lo and behold it passed. Then he says, "That'll be $25." I told him I'd already paid. Couldn't wait to get outta there. First and last time I'll ever bring my vehicle here. read more
