    I came to this location because it is conveniently near my apartment and they charge ~$ 25 for a state inspection. I needed my inspection done to get my registration sticker before May was over and these guys helped me. I was in and out within 15 minutes and passed. If you need your inspection done and are in the area check these guys out.

    Cheap, fast, and friendly service. I've gotten my car inspection ($25) from here the past two years, and it's always taken no more than 20 minutes. You're in and you're out. Last year they told me I needed a new cabin filter, and this year they said I needed to replace my front brake pads soon. They have never pressured me to get it done there so extra star for that! They have wifi too, so your 20 min wait will go by like a breeze!

    There is usually never a line here for oil changes or inspections. Great when you don't have much time. Saturdays are a bit busier, so I recommend going during a week day. The shop has a tv for you to watch as you wait, or you can pick up a Houston Press newspaper located by the front door to read.

Pulled in at 10:30 am and was back on the road by 10:55. Tim, the tech who took care of us could not have been more courteous and helpful. I seriously- for this day in time- need to PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS BEFORE I GO INTO A PLACE OF BUSINESS!!!!!!!! This Safelite location does THE WORSE and most SLOPPIEST work in my opinion. On my way to this place, I was nervous ( I do not typically like people in my car because when you get your car back, it will not be good. People do not take care of your stuff like you do). When I arrived, I checked in and then sat down. Moments later a VERY irate customer was yelling and saying words of profanity. He was ANGRY!! The more I heard he yell, I got even more nervous with my car there at this shop. Safelite employee threatened that he would call the police so he left shortly thereafter, but right before he walked out, he told all three of we customers- who were present- to make sure we check our windshields and WAS HE RIGHT!!! We began to chat amongst each other saying that we all were nervous with our vehicles there. When I got my vehicle back, I noticed things were out of place and broken just sitting on top of the car- they failed to relay this info to me. The trim (that goes around the windshield) was twisted, and either a piece of paint was chipped off or they did not pull the trim down far enough to match the other side of equality. I did not hand you my vehicle looking any kind of way- so do not hand my car BACK to me looking any kind of way! I mean this work was SLOPPY and LAZY!!! I knew that Danny- the tech who worked on my car- was going to be some sort of degree sloppy when I saw his pants hanging down and over his buttocks. If one dresses sloppily like that, his work mostly likely will be just as bad. I called/texted but they both went unanswered. I plan to pay a visit very soon to get this all corrected and rectified in case if a lawsuit come to fruition, I can honestly say that I gave them ample opportunity and time to correct all issues. When I called Safelite back to mention the issues, the receptionist answered the call having said "hello ma'am what's wrong with your car?" When she said this, she sounded as though she said it more than a dozen times per day that is is rehearsed by this point. I do not trust this place of business' work and at this point, I need to wait to see if anything leaks when it rains ( this was also an issue of one of the ladies sitting among us in the lobby waiting for our cars. She had been waiting for her vehicle- to get CORRECTED from the first time she was there- for four hours!) I hope that these issues can get corrected and I DO NOT EVER see myself EVER returning to his place of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have no doubt this business, Ryan Automotive, has done good work on people's vehicles in the…read morepast. Judging from the reviews, most people seem satisfied with services rendered. However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.
