I needed my inspection done to get my registration sticker before May was over and these guys helped me. I was in and out within 15 minutes and passed. I first stumbled on these guys when I needed a truck inspection. I failed because I didn't have a lightbulb and something else and they quickly proposed solutions at a reasonable price. I got the stuff fixed and I was on my way. I was greeted with a friendly demeanor, and they were very straightforward, so I made a mental note to save this place on my phone. It's not convenient to my work or to where I live at all but the guys seemed solid and I needed a new place to work on the Jeep. I came back in to get something repaired a few months later, and it was quick and easy. Came back about nine months later because I had a weird issue with the engine racing and then shutting off. I had no fault, signals or indicators on the dashboard showing there was a problem. This is my wife's jeep so I have to get it figured out and can't roll the dice like I would on my car.... After having a truck for a few hours, they called and said he's still trying to figure it out and wanted to keep it overnight. He said that they had replicated the issue that I was experiencing so he knew something was wrong, but wasn't sure what. The next morning he called me and said he was baffled. He could not find anything wrong with a visual inspection, had spent the evening at home researching on jeep forms, as well as reading through jeep repair bulletins issued by the manufacturer, but couldn't find a definitive path to make the repair. He believed he had narrowed it down to one of half a dozen things, but wasn't sure which repair would ultimately fix the issue. It was very clear that he was stumped, frustrated, and wanted to get to the right answer, but didn't want to drag me through the mud with a gazillion repairs. We cut a deal: he agreed to gamble the labor if I agreed to pay for the part. Part was about $50. Labor was $100 or so. If the repair didn't fix the issue, he would eat the labor. Our gamble paid off. It worked! The effort and the way they got to the right answer shows me who these guys really are. Nice work fellas! We are appreciative. read more

Cheap, fast, and friendly service. I've gotten my car inspection ($25) from here the past two years, and it's always taken no more than 20 minutes. You're in and you're out. Last year they told me I needed a new cabin filter, and this year they said I needed to replace my front brake pads soon. They have never pressured me to get it done there so extra star for that! They told me everything that I needed in order to pass (which was only one thing) and suggested to fix others. Secondly, the prices are very reasonable. It would have cost me $10 more had I gone to my other place for an inspection. Third, not only are these people nice, they are very considerate. I had a gap between my car and the door due to a situation and the guy noticed it and offered to fix it at no extra cost. Now I hear no noise through that gap, and my car runs so much more smoothly. Came here a year ago and got my inspection it was super quick and easy. I stopped in a few times over the year to have some things looked at and get advice. Fast forward a year I came back for an inspection and was greeted with smiles and friendly as normal. I gave them my keys and waited when I came to the back they said I had 3 problems: 1) My back windshield wiper was old and I needed a new one 2) My driver side tint was not state regulated 3) My fuel inspection pump needed to be cleaned He used some machine to show me my tint was to dark and I argued since it's the same window I have had since I got the car 5 years ago. He said he can pass me for that and the Wiper, but he can't pass me till I get my pump cleaned. Then tried to pressure me to get it done and said it would only only cost $110.00. I left and went down the street passed and got it done with no issue. I was very disappointed and frustrated that they took advantage of my kindness and tried to scam me. I won't be going back and have re-routed families who have gone based on my first impression else where. **My advice for the shop mechanic is dont try and take advantage of people run an honest operation and you will get more business. read more

Stopped by on a random weekday afternoon to get my inspection done, and I was blown away by the great service! They are very quick & efficient in getting the service done. I came days before the end of the month, which made me nervous there would be a long wait of people trying to get their inspection - I was definitely wrong! There were a few other people waiting, but it only took about 20 mins. for the inspection. They did find something wrong with my car, but they do offer the service to fix it and gave me a full break down of the services & parts I need, along with their price for it. There is usually never a line here for oil changes or inspections. Great when you don't have much time. Saturdays are a bit busier, so I recommend going during a week day. Three days ago, I went in for an oil change. As with every time I come here, they tried to upsell me on changing all of my fluids ("your fluids are black..."). They also tried to sell me an "engine oil flush". My father is a certified mechanic and I have changed oil all my life. Never heard of that service before three days ago. I declined all. Today, there is fresh oil all over my garage floor - from a fresh leak. I take my vehicle back so that they can diagnose and fix it. The threads within my oil pan were stripped. The threads were not stripped before I came there - and I have changed oil on this vehicle myself. They did not offer to fix it because - according to them - they did not have the bolt on-hand. Curiously enough, they had a $500 quote ready-to-go to replace the entire oil pan. Of course I declined. If you are looking to spend $500 on an oil change - go here. If not, avoid them. read more

I brought my car in to get a windshield crack repair after seeing decent reviews for this place on Yelp. The guys here said they can seal the two cracks and it wouldn't spread after the first place I went to said these cracks were irreparable. I took a chance and got it done. Two months later the cracks spread and I went to get a refund. They gave me a difficult time saying that they didn't see the second crack because it was a new one (yet they charged me to seal two cracks and they were right next to each other). Fortunately, I took before & after pictures to show them. They then said there are no dates on the picture so they can't be sure if it was a new or old crack...fortunately again the iPhone 5 has dates attached to them and I showed them that. Eventually the manager stepped in and refunds my money but the overall experience has left a poor taste in my mouth. Had I not properly documented everything, I would be out $45 for poor service. I went by the Sticker Stop Express today at 6302 Westheimer Rd Houston, TX 77057 for a car inspection. I asked them if they have any gloves on hand, they said yes. I politely asked that the person who drives my car into the service bay to conduct the inspection please put on a pair of gloves before driving my car. They absolutely refused! They said that it was my responsibility to disinfect afterwards by spraying it with Lysol. I replied that I don't have any Lysol and that it's impossible to find any for purchase. They proceeded to offer to spray my car with Lysol after the inspection for an additional $10 fee. Unbelievable! Not only is this place endangering the public by having their technicians not wear gloves and risk spreading the Coronavirus from car to car, they are also using this crisis to rip people off by offering a Lysol spray for $10. Please do not go to this place if you value your health! read more

They have a customer for life! This review is late but couldn't pass without saying how amazing the guys at this shop are. I stopped for a inspection and Matt noticed my brake pads needed to be changed, gave me a estimate no pressure. I called a few days later to set it up they ordered part and came the next morning. My car randomly wouldn't start and I called the shop Matt listened to it over the phone and said he would come up my home and try to jump start it. He came and tried but it wouldn't start so I towed it there. Not only did they check my car throughly they kept me updated throughout and didn't even charge me any extra fees for going out of their way. Eddie was also great! Highly recommend for all car needs!
