Delicious! If you haven't tried Malibu Boba, or haven't had it in a while -- you should give it a chance. They recently underwent new ownership and the changes are amazing! Their drinks are so much better than they used to be and the new owners are so friendly and helpful. This boba spot is located in a super cute cafe with a very aesthetically pleasing vibe. I dropped in to get some refreshment in 101 degree weather and I see a dude sitting down on the couch using his laptop. I thought the was the only customer, but turns out he is the server. Anyways I pay almost $20 for two large drinks, a strawberry twist and a Thai twist. When I get my order I immediately wonder why they don't have the cream foam swirl/twist pictured on the menu. I ask the server and he says "ya it's a decorative vanilla foam... we just ran out." Uhhh..... I'm thinking uhh no it's not just "decorative," you left out an ingredient, didn't even give me the heads up, and didn't even offer a partial refund. So I get this slushy instead... Honestly I have to say this place is so nice and cozy. It's such a cool place to get some boba or refreshing drinks. This place has to be hands down the best place I've ever gotten a strawberry banana smoothie. Oyesh was super kind and professional and super fast with making our drinks! I am so glad we stopped by Malibu Boba on our way to LA! They had so many options to choose from. We tried the Mango smoothie with honey boba, and it was incredibly nice and refreshing. Idk why there is any one star reviews for this amazing Boba place. First I'd just like to say there is amazing service. The man working there was very nice and made our drinks extremely fast. When I took my first sip I was like "oh yeeeeeeeaaaaah!" If you go here you are making the right choice. This is a great place for an afternoon stay. Poor service. We were passing by Agoura Hills coming back from Pismo Beach. Its 101 degrees and saw a boba place. Quickly looked it up on yelp and yay! the reviews was a 4.6 but it went downhill from there. I just tried this place for the first time after they partnered with too good to be true. They offer 6.99 for $21 worth of goodies. When we claimed it, I got a fruit tea with boba. And an 8oz hot chocolate. It's Basically paying for regular amount for your drink and you get a free small hot chocolate. That is not worth $21. The boba tapioca however was good and was still warm. I was hesitant to try this place because of its location - sometimes these far out location don't have the same quality as other more dense areas but boy was I wrong. The vibe is cute, lots of comfy areas to sit and windows to enjoy the views outside. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordered two drinks and they were different but made well, tasty, fresh boba, and balanced in flavor. The size options are limited and price point was a wee bit high for the size but overall would definitely return to try the other items on the menu. This place recently opened in our area and my daughter was excited to try it - she loves Boba. They were friendly and greeted us as we walked in. It's a very clean with a cute, beach feel to it. Very nice people, cute store, mediocre boba and no food. I'm really rooting for this Boba spot to succeed, especially considering the lack of options in Agoura Hills, but there are a couple things to work on. Starting with the drinks which are too sweet. Their 25% sugar milk tea tastes like most other places' 75% sugar. I can barely taste the tea! As for the lack of food: musubi, pastries, popcorn chicken and other snacks would be really nice. I hope this will be added soon. Finally, considering their Hawaiian roots I'd like to see them lean into that more as a differentiator compared to other standard boba places. Both for the menu as well as the branding and ambience. Will give 5 stars once food is added. read more

So disappointing! Guava Green tea with Lychee jelly - resembled green tea and resembled guava but didn't quite hit the mark. It almost tasted soapy. The lychee jelly doesn't taste like lychee at all. The Dirty Classic was actually gross, something was not mixed in correctly and it felt like mucus like substance coming through the straw. The brown sugar was odd tasting. We threw out our drinks. I figured whoever is on shift was using the restroom or something, so we waited. Half an hour later, no one has arrived. Called, and no one answered. I've ordered Boba twice now. The first time, my Boba drink came without boba. Why? It should be an automatic ingredient for a Boba drink. I should have to uncheck the boba box if I want to customize my Boba drink. I was disappointed because I love Boba drinks. Malibu Boba went under change of ownership in January 2026. You can literally feel the difference in our drinks, customer service and overall experience here in the store. We are very passionate couple about drinks and health, so we are very careful about what goes in your cup. We try to keep the drinks as deliciously healthy as possible by using either honey or pure cane sugar syrup as sweetener rather than high-fructose corn syrup, keeping the boba cooker free from scratches, changing the ice filter periodically, making the teas in small batches and keeping it refrigerated rather than keeping it in room temperature.

The sweet staff not only gave me my drink, but also gave me a small cup containing the extra and I 100% appreciated that!!!! Thank you for not letting it go to waste and giving it to me! When I checked the gps to go back to my house, the drive was still going to be double the time to drive home than normal because of traffic. The whole way home I sipped this delicious smoothie which cooled my throat from the inside out and it lasted the whole way staying ice cold the entire drive! By the time I arrived home, I think the swelling was already improving because of the cooling effect from the smoothie! Thank you! When we got to the counter, I asked the cashier if there were any non-dairy substitutes. She froze and said she didn't know, and then she recommended Chobani yogurt...which was still dairy...She said there weren't any smoothies with no dairy, although I had only found one on the menu. We ordered and then proceeded to wait around 20-25 minutes. There was only one cashier and what looked like the owner working. Since they were understaffed and realistically should have probably had at least one other person working, it was a huge turn-off in coming back again, especially since there wasn't a huge line to begin with. There ended up being people that came in after us and I know if I was on my lunch break from one of the next door stores in the shopping center, that I wouldn't be able to come here because of how long it takes alone. Love this spot! Malibu Boba is my go to in Agoura Hills. The drinks are always super tasty and refreshing, and the boba is perfectly chewy every time. So excited there's FINALLY a boba shop in Agoura Hills!! My drink was amazing it was a dragonfruit lemonade with butterfly pea cold foam.
